You saved the day. Thanks
obrigado pela dica
Thank you!
So convenient!
Thank you ‼️‼️
ZPL and EPL are the different languages that the printers use. So you choose the driver that corresponds to the printers language
Thank you for this video! I damn near -BOUGHT- a driver off some random website. I would have been pissed if I did, THEN found this video. LOL Ya saved me
are you referring to the peninsula drivers? I can't get anything to work besides theirs.... ughhh so frustrating.
Thanks.. I managed to get it to print, however, the printout does not come out very clear even though the image is clear. (screen shot from UPS as you mentioned)
Did you ever fix the jagged label issue on the Mac? I got it working just fine in Windows or Linux but have the same jagged barcode as you have in your video on a 2020 macbook M1.
I cannot get my mac to even see my printer, I have the Zebra ZSB-DP12. I have downloaded the driver and still no luck, any advice?
Do I need to connect it to my Mac
Question for you, I was looking on eBay and some are saying with Ethernet cable.. do I need to use the cable? Can't I just connect via usb to the MacBook? Thank you!
I have a USB cable that hooks up to my computer and works fine
Hello. I work with Zebra GC420, and I need to print .TXT files. Do you know how can I print that?
That I would not be sure on how to do it. Sorry
hello what sftware can be used to design barcode labels on mac?
That I am not sure. I googled and saw websites that offer it
I have the ZP 505 and tried using the same driver you used "ZPL", but every time I print, it get a blank label. It is sending a signal to the print, but just not printing anything. Even with a test page, the same issue. Any idea what it could be? I tested on a windows computer and was able to get it to print just fine. I also downloaded a peninsula driver app called thermal utility and it prints labels just fine on my mac with a watermark. Would hate to pay $130 for their application when this should work out of the box.
That I am not sure sometimes it’s the MacBook configuration. If you can contact a local printer services maybe they can help or find a online shop that sells it and see if they have a help service
Exact same thing happening to me. Any luck Rohit?
I have been trying to get my Zebra GK420d to print all week. I installed the printer through CUPS. I know that it prints (calibration prints out a number of labels just fine) but according to Zebra you can not send ZPL commands on a Mac. So no text is printed on the label when i use a standard text editor. Do you have any idea how to make this printer work?
Honesty I wouldn’t know that much on it.
I just got this printer. I am having an issue where the printer only prints half of the label. any ideas on how to fix this issue?
You need to do a label calibration www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/knowledge-articles/zp-series--calibrating-the-printer.html
Mines not as clear as yours. How do I get it more black and crispy?
Needs to be crispy
@@THESPICEBOY I got it crispy, I just needed new labels
Where do I go to actually print the label information, UPS?
I usually will screen shot the UPS or FEDEX label and print it out that way and comes out well
Just got this printer and installed it on my Mac. I’m wondering if your barcode comes out fuzzy.
depends on the mac. I know my old mac made it fuzzy. Sometimes just from UPS and Fedex would look fuzzy. Just depends really
@@ALwaysanadventure_ yes, I just change my pc job from windows to Mac last month and I use zebra for 6 years to print my shipping label. The words and barcode looks clear and beautiful. But when I use the same printer on Mac , the words and barcode on label turn to fuzzy condition. Do you know why?
@@meowmimitv4435 mine come out pixelated too. I think its the mac drivers. i havent found a resolution yet
@@meowmimitv4435 zebra isnt meant to be used with mac, zebra doesn't even have tech support for it. as long as the barcode can be scanned then it should be fine
@@mrsmaricachia thanks, not really good for Mac but it works fine. The courier scanned without problem.
The problem is the quality of the barcode on the mac... look at 3:21 how jagged it looks. it should be perfectly clear and clean, not pixalized looking...same images on pc driver prints fine... yet tried so many solutions on a mac with no luck printing clearly
Have u had issue where it does not print entire page it only prints top
I have not had that issue, i make mine 4 by 6 on the size to fit and prints well
Does it work with Shopify
Haven't tried it with shopify, I do not see why not as long as you save it to your computer should print
Where do I get the driver for Mac? May you share where?
Download it off the zebra website if you Google it then it comes up
@@ALwaysanadventure_ Thanks, Every time I turn off the printer, and turn it on, it will need to calibrate wasting like 3 labels? Because I will be printing just a few labels or one label(order) I am starting my e-commerce. I am worried I will be wasting a lot of labels. Or?
I usually keep the printer on. I don’t turn it off or on.
mines was only printing the top half
i switched to the rollo but when i print a label it prints and blank labels print after
I'm having the same problem. Did you come up with a solution?
