It’s weird how in the writers took the greatest character and the franchise and made her the worst, then, over the course of a singular episode, took the worst character in the Hannah Barbara universe and made him the most goated.
I’ll never get over the fact that Warner Brothers canceled Coyote Vs. Acme, because they didn’t wanna take “Risks” but they approved of this. For crying out loud the turned down Batman Beyond in Spiderverse style. And Warner Brothers wonders why people lost respect for them.
The worst part is, making a show like this isn’t even a risk anymore! It’s literally all pandering

I never thought I'd say this, but... bring back Scrappy-Doo. Yeah, that's how low this is. This show actually manages to make Scrappy-Doo of all characters look LESS BAD by comparison. If that was the show's end goal, then congratu-frickin-lations, it succeeded.

This is easily one of the worst animated shows of all time. Plus that line “Adults who still watch cartoons” is really hypocritical since this IS an adult cartoon, animation is a medium for everyone, not a genre for kids.
For all the cringey moments throughout this show, there are still two satisfying moments. They are when Velma is hit by a car and when she's killed by Scrappy.
Or even have a very small Cameo in animated series, movies or comics.
When Velma gets hurt, an angel gets their wings. When Velma died, the devil shuddered for fear of dragging her to hell.

The cringiest moment is when they allowed this pile of garbage to be made. I liked Kaling on The Office because I thought she was playing a character. If I could, I would arrest that line of dialogue for killing any enjoyability or potential for enjoyability that the show could have had. That line made it perfectly clear that the showrunners hate us all.

Velma is a Teen Titans Go version of Scooby-Doo that doesn’t even have Scooby-Doo in it that went the Family Guy route.
In all honesty, TTG did some things right especially that one feud episode where the Scooby gang appeared in their show, the design of the lovable cast is the same as the classic Scooby doo. Still, TTG isnt as super cringe as Velma
still you gotta admit, is impressive how this show managed to unite people from both the left and the right, they both agreed that the show was terrible

The problem with Velma can be summed up in one word. Its mean. Especially Velma herself. She is just a terrible person in every way
You hit the nail on the head. I have no issues with Mystery Inc’s change in race (we’ve had instances before where they were portrayed or voiced by PoC, albeit white-passing or as white characters) but they’re horrifically mean-spirited to everyone around them AND each other, making it difficult to root for the core four.
Daphne doesn’t need to cast a hex on Velma to keep anyone from falling in love with her; Velma’s personality will do that.

Let’s remember all the great shows that got canceled yet this thing somehow was able to get a second season. Green lantern animated series, young justice (again), teen titans (original) and many more.
