- I have been very lucky in being the first person to receive the scullfabrications front jack up bar and i am here today to show you all how to install it.
This bar will fit the mk1 mk2 and 2.5, the only difference being that on the mk1 instead of drilling a hole in your bumper you have to file a semi circle in the inner edge of the bumper.
Scullfab have been an amazing company to deal with from start to finish, even when there was a slight issue (being damaged in the post) they rectified it extremely quickly and made the whole process a breeze
The fact they even email you detailed instructions is beyond what most companies will do

Where would you place the jack stands if I can ask. I’ve been using the reinforced parts on the sills, but they are slowly seeing some wear from it. I see people jacking on the ends of the framerail and support at the lower control arms pivot. Do you have any tips or maybe a video on these points?
Thts a great point, I shall maybe make a video on this soon. But yes the pivot points for the control arms / wishbones on the subframe is a great place to put the axle stands, it's nice and strong and won't bend. Thank you for the idea of a well needed video
Looks like Mr T helping out.

Do you need to put the bash pad back on??
you dont need to but its best to. specially if its a street car
