Nice to see our bumper was featured in the wrapup and you have another RX7 team to give grief too about their loud rotary.
If 'yourself guys' dislike the exhaust note of an RX7,mes amis, you should experience that of a SAAB 2-stroke...with an expansion chamber exhaust !

I live in east tn, got a free Ford taurus,(father in law gave to wife, she bought another) needs full race mods. Runs and drives. Can't title it, without much state supplication, so perfect for a racecar. Comment back if you live nearby and are interested in starting a team from scratch.

Serious question: Is the Saanda's engine relocation grandfathered into being allowed to compete? iirc the rulebook states the engine must remain in factory orientation, driving whatever wheels were driven from the factory (fwd must stay fwd, rwd must stay rwd, etc) and the original firewall must remain unmodified and completely intact.
I ask because I want to mid engine swap a car to enter into lemons but then I read that in the rules
Actually, you aren't RC'ing--there's no such rule, it's totally fine to move the engine and drive configuration.

I have always wanted to do this since the very first race,but I won't say what car I would use, it's a secret.
How about a Isuzu Rodeo? I can slap a chevy 454 big block and trans from a RV in it and it will dominate. I can even swap in the dually rear end from the RV

Hey! What's up? I'm Sean from the Franken Falcon team. You got any disc brakes? We ran drums on all four corners and it was kind of a mistake. We could also use a good clutch and a closer ratio transmission. Our tires are toast and an LSD would be awesome, but we'd be grateful for anything. Thanks!
