- Neighbours is back! Two of the soap’s biggest icons join us live in the studio all the way from Australia to tell us about the revival of the legendary show. Stefan Dennis has been playing villainous businessman Paul Robinson since the soap’s debut in 1985, and Rebekah joined as Terese Willis in 2013. They’ll be telling us about why there’s more drama than ever on Ramsay Street and how it felt when they heard the show was coming back and why they’re so thankful to the fans for saving the show.

My brother used to watch this show. In fact, he liked it so much that he once almost completely refused to go on a walk with my grandparents who we didn't see all the time because Neighbours was on. 😂

The UKs obsession with Neighbours is so fascinating. Its long past having any cultural relevance in Australia, the general population couldn't care less if it stayed or went.

Can’t believe it’s not returning to national television in the UK 😮 what about the older folks who can’t watch online? In Ireland it’s returning to TV but only because we’re blocked from watching Freevee 😂

@@mikekaraoke it’s not available in Ireland bro, I have the app but it says “region unsupported”. I think it’s due to rights. It’s available in Northern Ireland, Britain, the US and even Germany but not available in the Republic of Ireland. Makes no sense.
@@joey-xq3ei I have Amazon Prime in Ireland and I can see old episodes of Neighbours on it but not the new ones. I can watch the new ones on RTE player however. I raised a ticket with amazon but after thinking it over am now terrified it might have been a mistake that we are able to watch the old ones, I gain nothing by watching on prime other than avoiding a few adverts. It's just very strange how it says the video is not available.
@@joey-xq3ei wrong app. In Ireland it’s the Amazon’s Prime Video app. Only the UK refer to it as Freevee.

Yep. Monday 18th September 2023 Neighbours is back on Amazons streaming service Freevee No idea what time it will be added to Freevee. I am watching the 2022 episodes from the beginning with Therese dangling off a roof, etc.
They upload that at 7AM in the morning, Mon to THU. Just mad to see a show like Neighbours on a streaming service but I knew that'd happen if was to be brought back, now here we are 🤦♂
@@gunnyo50 Yes I googled it on when and times for the first ep. Watched it and I'm really looking forward to all the new storylines. The ads inbetween aren't as annoying as on other streaming services. I am hoping it won't be as much as 6 ads further on down the line. The current one has two short ad breaks. The first an ad for about 30 seconds, then an ad for Freevee itself then the 2nd lot of ad breaks is just 1 ad (for the moment at least).
It’s a shame that you can’t watch it on the TV I can only watch it on a phone or an iPad I think it starts at 7 am in the morning I don’t know how long it’s on for Monday to Thursday

Me too...but partly because I developed cataracts in both eyes and could barely see anything, no colours, no details, so demoralising. Now I've had both cataracts removed and new lenses put in place so all I need now are "proper" (prescription) reading glasses to have decent vision once again...and obviously just in time to see the return of 'Neighbours' (as long as via a medium I still have access to - TV ?!) 😊

I remember I was so upset when he died on Neighbours was so upset, then obviously he worked over here for a number of years-one of my fav was his role as Adam Newman in UK hit series: The Tomorrow People from 1992-1995.
