This not only looks great, but is unique in that it funnels the air directly to the air box. I have the viper hood and the vents just open into the engine compartment. So although it cools the overall engine compartment, it really doesn't do much for air intake temperature. Just remember that you'll still need to get it prepped/painted/fitted (even if it comes black), and you'll also need to drill holes for the washer fluid jets, and potentially other hardware. Finally, the tightness of the fit around your airbox will vary depending on the type of air box you have. There's likely to be gap between the bottom of the hood and the top edge of the air box, which could let a lot of engine compartment heat in. So you may need to add some type of a soft rubber gasket around the top edging of the airbox to ensure a tight seal to the bottom of the hood.

Hood looks great, that's for sure. But the main thing I notice about 99% of all these mopar aftermarket hoods. Is that none of them have opinions for Procharged motors. I know this is not a 300 channel but I haven't seen a hood made for a Procharger on any recent mopar

All the hoods I see have ram air over the top of the cold air and factory air boxes. Well I'm sure you know that with a Procharger your air intake moves to the back end of the motor on the drivers side

R/T Life I ordered a wicker bill and rear diffuser 4 weeks ago and they said 2-3 weeks and I still haven’t gotten shipping info however idk if it’s just me or common problem with them

Hey bro I would love for you to do a video about MDS delete because I want to learn more about it because I want to delete my MDS but I don't sure if I just buy the block off plugs and blocked it off. Are I have to buy lifters as well. I buy BBK shorty headers not put them on yet but I watch your video and I heard you say your engine make a lot of noise when you take off your stock Muffler to resolve that you have to get a mds delete
You can just fix MDS with a tune - just tell the tuner you don't want MDS to kick on anymore

i have the SRT style hood from BMC extreme. might want to consider hood pins since it's fiberglass...i did the aerocatch black hood pins and get compliments on my ride all the time. Went gloss black to go with wheels and spoiler. im sure it's not much of a difference but the hood will direct the air over to the top of your intake filter. I'm very happy i went with it. You will need to invest in some black chip fix if you go black color.
It came just the basic white and all my OEM parts from my factory hood to include the windshield squirters worked. Had a custom paint shop do it and it looks pretty sick.

Id like to know the weight difference between the 2, you could be saving some weight depending on what its made out of. Better balance front to rear and lighter weight, never a bad thing!

Did the hood actually work for you? Did you see significant temperature drop once you installed it on your car? I want to get one for my 2012 chrysler 300 srt8.
That hood would look great wrapped on your car. I wonder if the change in aerodynamics would slow the car down? Either way I would do it. Will look badass.
If they put it on the demon, I'm sure it can't be to bad... I would imagine the benefits far outweigh the negatives though

One thing to think of is your car has the cover for intake that you put on you'll have to remove that .
On days I would race the cover would come off.
No joke, I was looking into that hood for a 2019 mod. Get out of my mind!!! Lol.

I think as long as it does not create air piling and actually works like my hood does, do it If you're going to do that then you got to get that new grill and a new air box so you can maximize the cool air going into your engine. All of that being set up is another reason why the TA was so appealing to me. I just wish for your sake you would have found this before paying the money to get the hood wrapped but Que Sera Sera, I guess. Also another thing you're going to want to think about that just hit me in the bottom of your air box you are going to want to make sure that you have drain holes or a large drain hole because you can and we'll catch water through the cold air intake
a hood upgrade isn't happening for a while- months to be honest. There is just to many other things I want to do 1st. I mean unless something falls in my lap. We will see how it plays out

it will not add HP - just allow my engine to operate at a cooler temperature which helps performance
It looks cool with the scat front end and racing stripes. I dont like it with the R/T front end. The cross hair grill throws it all off imo.

I have an idea , can you see if there's some one that make custom hoods the way u want / like the demon hood combined with with the sport hood for Ram 1500 . I have 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Limited and I'm doing mods but want to have a crazy aggressive different look . Wanted to give u an idea because I know a lot of Ram owners would love it .

@@RTLife I just saw a review on the 2019 scat pack charger and it has a upgraded upper grille with the 2 air ram holes a smaller scat pack bee and they dropped the rt badging on the scat pack new name is just the scat pack
It sucks that it is only for the intake. They could've split it where half of the air is for the intake and the other half is for the engine bay
You would think it would have multiple areas but I'm ok with it going to the intake
@@RTLife I would be ok with it, but I dont want my performance engine to heat soak. No matter how much air it's getting in - even if it's cold, a hot engine wont utilise the air right
