Idea for you r/t life , when I had my 70 4406/18 - pistol 4 speed/Dana 4:30 ,Roadrunner I did a lot of street racing on "cheater slicks". Anyway, I disconnected the washer fluid hose and relocated the hose to right in front of rear tires for instant liquid for burn outs without the need to get out of the car. Less chance of cops catching me racing with this quick setup.

Two great looking hoods I like how much they change the appearance of the car . I have an aftermarket hood on my Daytona and I love it really changes the look

Killer bee hood looks way more mean. The higher rise in the hood scoop looks awesome. The Hellcat... is one bad mod away from being riced out

Nice video compression... I own the A80 hood and never had any issues with water. The heat extractors help keep the hemi engine cooler. Plus it helps my car stand out from the rest of the scat packs
Got my new wheels and tires on my Charger RT today. Bronze Hellcat replicas 275's upfront, 305's in rear. What a difference.

Do you want to here's something really rude? When they started putting that style of hood scoop on the Viper I referred to it as an AAR style hood on a Viper. That teardrop style hood scoop first showed up on the AAR Cuda but it did not have the side vents
Looks like the AAR Cuda had the front scoop but no the side vents - def a solid hood
Ya many people forget that all the hoods pretty much dodge has used are exact or reimagined hoods from history. The challenger looks like a continued version of its big brother.

Two things , both of you should & it is seriously recommend that you install hood pins ... also best way to get windshield washers is to get the kit that is on the Mercedes Benz sprinters trucks that clip on the wiper arms and look very clean , plus they spray directly on your windshield & not all over the place! Keep up the good content brother.
It is good stuff to know when you go to swap out your hood. A lot of people don't know about the play or the adjustment knobs for the hood,which btw your trunk also has in case you change that too!

Both nice hoods, just depends on the look you want. All of them will take a little tweaking, but most are pretty well manufactured nowadays.

@@bb4836 yessir! Still one of the best detectors out there. But to be honest, I've been saved more times by running the Waze app on my phone everytime I drive. I don't even put in a destination, I just load the app and it warns me about police up ahead.

Cool vid, I've been considering getting a hellcat hood for my Challenger primarily for heat extraction. SRT8s have functional induction, but it's not very much and would be good to get more fresh air into the engine bay
I don't blame you for wanting the heat extractors - they do a decent job of cooling off that hemi
@@RTLife yeah these hemis get pretty warm, and would definitely be a plus man. Something that you mentioned in the vid is fitment, and is important to find the right one. Was checking out one on speedlogix online store earlier, and looks like a good one that I might consider. Was also looking on the cervini homepage as well, and make some decent quality products to. You heard anything about them, or know which ones are the best ?

Both are good options for the best engine bay cooling possible. Not to mention they look very sinister from the front or even from looking from a great height like at a stacked parking lot

I was thinking for getting the Killerbee for my RT, but they don't come with rain ventilation like the Heat Extractor(low profile) version, plus it's like $300 cheaper.
you can always put a water proof intake sleeve on your filter.

Anyone have any luck figuring out how to run the under hood style water squirters on the killer bee hood? Looks like they just clip into some hole's on the OEM hood. I might have to drill to recreate that fit on the Killer bee.

I really like looking different - how knows, I may end up doing the SRT body down the road. Right now I like having it look like an RT with attitude.
