    I'm not an accounting firm, just a small business but- Ever since I started working with a CPA and educating myself it's been a game changer. I research my decision, but don't waste time in a rabbit hole. I run it by my CPA sometimes if it's new to me. Then I execute. In 2 years I went from 4 employees to 14. Soon to be 16 and because we worked on our business model, we are in high demand and can't keep up with work requests. It's a great problem to have. Indecision gets you nowhere.

      Prioritizing effective personal finance management holds greater significance than the sheer amount saved, irrespective of income source. Consulting a certified financial advisor can offer tailored strategies to optimize financial results by reducing expenses and enhancing income, regardless of whether it's earned through employment or investments.

      Retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs.
      Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My parents both spent same number of years in the civil service, but my mom was investing through a wealth manager, and my dad through the 401k.

    Hi Jasmine, so I have a Q,
    I’m a Ca. State Peace Officer.
    So I have partners that have been injured at work and get a disability % rating and they use that % rating as a tax deduction. Is that accurate. Just wondering if I can use it and under what code. As I have a 35% disability rating from a work injury. Thank you

    You’re such an inspiration to me Ms. DiLucci! I just received my Masters in Tax and I’ve been trying to decide whether to get my CPA or EA…which would you recommend to focus on first? For background, I currently work at a tax services firm as a tax research consultant. Thank you!

    • @taxleverage
      @taxleverage  Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you! Depends on a few factors- CPA is better to get but takes more time to study and has more education requirements. If you are already qualified with the requirements and have real time to study then I’d say CPA. Otherwise EA is much easier to get through, because having an EA would still be much better than waiting for years to find time for the CPA

    Hey I love your channel, though I'm in Canada it is interesting to see the differences between Canada and the U.S.
    I recently saw a viral podcast talking about how the new Auditors are essentially weaponized agents to go after the middle class and squeeze them.
    Would you mind doing maybe a reaction video from your perspective to give a little insight as you've already dealt with the new auditors?
    The video came from Timcast IRL, if you type in the podcast and IRS it'll pop up. Thank you for your time and great content!

    Amazon's Jeff Bezos says, that there is a two kind of executive decisions:
    1.) one-way -decisions, from where there is very difficult, or impossible to retrieve, (and those decisions should be considered greatly.)
    And
    2.) two-way -decisions, from where there is relatively easy to back down.
