Good one! This is by far one of my favorite chill songs. Babymetal generally leans into the style of their collaboration artist, in this case, Polyphia.

I'd give up everything to be able to attend a BABYMETAL show at the freaking Budokan.
At the time this was recorded during the 10 BABYMETAL Budokan shows, held to celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2021, it was impossible to travel to Japan due to the covid restrictions.
I was given one of the masks provided by the organization the audience was wearing over their own mask at these shows. It means a lot to me.

BND is a song from Metal Galaxy 2019 album.
Although i do like this version there's a better version they recently did at FOX_FEST Festival (the same show they did the live premiere of RATATATA along with Electric Callboy) and there's an official live MV which btw got the guitar collab of Tim Henson & Scott LePage from Polyphia and they're performing along with the girls for the first time.
Not sure what you don't understand about the formation but this was in 2021 when Momoko Okazaki was still one of the three avengers part of this era, she became MomoMetal in April 2023 as an official member.

Not better than this performance in my opinion as the sound production, atmosphere and ability to see the choreography is superior here.
@@rah2287 I disagree. Fox_Fest has four guitarists, and it's incredibly obvious because there are melodies and riffs in it that don't exist in this, or any other live version.

Yes this older Version of this song just recently made headlines, since Tim and Scott had their first live performance with them. This song had from the begonning the problem, that it was a bit to soft. But you can simply hear Sus Age. And in my opinion she can sing a few Pop songs if she wants. I think thos is one of the ideas behind the Collabs. Yexperiment with different kinds of Songs.
Great reaction ... and you surprised me with it being the Budokan 2021 performance, but I think you recorded this possibly just before they released the new live performance video from Fox_Fest.
The song is from the 2019 album and Tim Henson and Scott LePage from the mainly instrumental Prog Rock band Polyphia recorded the original guitar tracks for the album version.
Polyphia was one of the bands BABYMETAL invited to play at Fox_Fest and for the very first time Tim and Scott were able to join BABYMETAL on stage to perform this song live together. You may want to watch that video as well.
Just a reminder on the line ups:
2010 to late 2017 Su, Yui and Moa
2018 Su and Moa plus two dancers (Muscle Metal)
2019 to April 1st 2023 Su and Moa plus any one of the Avengers (Riho, Kano and Momoko), but after about March 2020 Momoko was the last remaining Avenger ... so she did all 10 Budokan 2021 concerts as the Avenger.
April 2nd 2023 on - Su, Moa and Momoko (now Momometal).
Shouldn't 2018 be "one to five dancers, but usually two"?
@@rickwagner- I was trying to keep it simple as the 5 were only for the Dark Night Carnival (which could be explained if she ever watches a video from that) and Saya alone was just for the last few shows of the year and I don't think I've ever seen any videos from those last few shows that might ever be reacted to.

Suggest Kagerou KIVE with Kami Band intro (another beautiful Suzuka vocal performance with outstanding banking vocals and choreography).
Did u check 2024 version of this song? Both versions good. But new version performed with Polyphia live. I suggest u check it later.

@@rexeros8825 There is no real competition though. The new one has four guitarists, which gives it a much fuller, complete sound.
