I've been watching safari hunts for a long time now, it's my first time seeing a buffalo goes down from the first shot_that was awesome.
Yes, an absolute rarity! It does happen from time to time, from my knowledge and experiences, when a perfect shoulder shot hits the buffalo and it is completely unaware of the hunt...it happens. Be weary though, because if its a high spine or close neck shot, it'll go down but be prepared to back up finishing shots quickly, as it could get up in a blink and be off & away...or head your direction. Nothing goes to waste in Africa. Meat protein is a vital commodity in
Africa. Hunter, guides and trackers eat some small portion of meat
around the camp fires. The remainder is turned over to the local
chef-tons or numerous orphanages. The hunters take the trophies . So it
is a win/ win situation. Americans, Europeans have never been truly
hungry, so they do not understand.

Also known as socialist, Marxist, progressives, or also known as Karen’s and or control freaks. Again myself and millions of others world wide enjoy hunting and respect what big game hunters like you do for the habitat and preservation of these game animals, god bless.
