Composting for the green Budapest (Pünkösfürdő Park, Budapest, Hungary)

András Zakar, the former CEO of Főkert, the Capital’s company, who was responsible for the development and maintenance of about 6,000,000 m2 of green space in Budapest every year, as well as the maintenance of 59,000 trees along avenues and 47,000 park trees, more than 9.5 million m2 of protected areas and about 3.1 million m2 of forest in the capital.
András Zakar talks about the importance of healthy soils in the cities and the company’s own compost depo, just as the importance of community composting bins around the city.
