you will probably hate mickey in these first few seasons, mainly because it doesn't show how the environment he lives in is much worse than gallagher's, mickey is a complex and interesting character to watch.

Rewatching Shameless through this channel, knowing each characters storyline is hitting different. Also seeing Carl in season 1 to the last season is kinda hilarious.

fiona, mickey and carl are my fav characters, I love them sm.
and carl is the limitless and kind of sadistic gallagher but at the same time he has a very good heart, he's very sensible, especially when it comes to his family (and he has a soft spot for fiona, i love that carl and liam see her a lot like almost a mom, probably because they're the youngest, she raised them the most), but overall he's also just very sensible and empathic, he has his morals which are better established as he grows up, he's still a kid here. btw he's also in fact a person you better not piss off, carl is a good person and he can be very kind but he's also fierce, he is a dog that barks AND actually bites.

Seriously, this may seem like an overrreaction to some, but in my opinion Mickey is genuinely one of the best and most complex characters ever. I've been a fan of shameless for YEARS and I've never changed my mind on this no matter how many other complex and interesting characters i see. Just seeing Noel Fisher play him with such raw emotions is truly incredible.

I love how so many of these comments are of people telling you how you're going to feel about Mickey! Like you can't think for yourself! He was always just ok to me, lol!
Mickey is a fan's favourite that's why he became a regular. He also has the best character development throughout the whole show.
I'm pretty sure she's gonna root for him and if she doesn't it will be interesting to hear her point of view as she always makes sense.
