Love the absolute lack of common sense on him. Meticulously measures his powder and developer and then throws the whole cup against his scalp. Then bleaches his white ends like 3 times and is shocked when they melt off! Why bother being so precise with your measuring when you then procede to do everything wrong!!

@@bunnyblackwell6107 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have thát part on repeat!!! And I am laughing my butt off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Because of Hair Buddha. I bleached my sisters hair using 20 volumes. Since shes very dark it taken close to 5 applications however I had taken fine sections and bleached the roots last. It came out amazing. Not as good as a professional but I was proud and she loved it
Everytime I feel the urge to bleach my hair, I watch Hair Buddha and the urge goes away! Thank You
Same 😂
Yup me too. Very time consuming and very damaging.
Ditto! I have everything I need to do it, I bought the stuff weeks ago, and then I watch one of Hair Buddha's reaction videos and nope, not doing it 🙃
I bet his hair and scalp hurt for days!!
< Same here😂
We need a button with Buddah's voice yelling "SECTIONS".
😂
I'd make it my text ringtone 🤣
I need it as my alarm!
😂😂😂😂
That part had me in tears! I agree about the ringtone!! 😂
The disconnect between the precise measurement and then the application took me from “yeah this is great!” To “oh shit”
HA!
With so much research, how could he miss how to apply the product correctly? 🤯
Exactly what I was thinking! He researched the chemistry but not how to actually apply it to his hair! 🥴🥴🥴
@@ChrystalVanDusseldorp It almost feel like he planned it! It’s just mindblowing 😆 Not even me in the younger age without both youtube and google have used such a bad application technique! (And i can point out that i even tried to bleach my hair with chlorine to show my knowledge at that time) 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 so true !
I thought that too! It’s so crazy
He is trying to get to a million, duh 🙄
As a bearded man who greatly enjoys these videos I would love to watch you react to beard trimming/coliring fails (I'm sure they must exist) I am learning so much from all these videos, it is fascinating
Will be fun to watch, but I think Hair Buddha is a hairdresser/stylist, not a barber.
I was just thinking about that lol
@@ChallieWallie in one of his videos he said that he used to be a hairstylist and now he is. a barber
Oh yes! He is a barber too. His videos are made in his barber shop I believe!
I'm a woman and don't even have a mustache and I would be interested in those types of videos and some barber hair cut fails.
My hair isn't patchy, it's just dEtAiLeD. 😂
Why did he take so much time studying and doing the formula and measurements, but no time learning about or doing proper application???
I can’t get enough of Hair Buddha! ❤️ All his frustrated, exasperated expressions are exactly how I think my guardian angel must look on an hourly basis! 🤷♀️🤣😂🤣😂
Me too. He is wonderful. I love him+he is so adorable. Honest and kind . Always respectful and very honest.
😳🧐🧐What the hell just happened!? He explained the hair products like a scientist, used his little drug scale😂😂😂then just slapped it on with no worry!🙄🙄😆
I know I was thinking of the same thing. Ahahaha
The drug scale was hilarious 😂
There is nothing else to add haha so true 😄😄😄
Hair Buddha: “I’ve never seen such a small scale!”
Lol so innocent
Donating my natural white hair to be made into a wig for cancer survivor, my son donated his beautiful hair to be made into a wig for an eight yearvold girl in Austria.
I have a tip for everyone who needs to save some money right now. I've been doing this for a couple of years... I take my BlondeMe products to my hairdresser and she applies it properly to the roots. Then I go home and put on my toner myself. This saves me a lot of money, and my hairdresser still has a regular customer. Not every hairdresser will do this and the prices vary, so shop around.
This is great advice! Thank you!
That's really smart
I don’t know where you are but as a 32 year veteran hairdresser I would never do this to a client! I have had clients that have been with me 32 years and I use blonde me. The most dangerous thing you can do in our profession is to apply bleach on somebody’s hair and not watch them much less send them home out the door. What if you were to get pulled over? A wreck? We are at risk of losing our license if they ever get caught
@@Vintagecouturebags I believe they meant that they get the roots bleached and also rinsed by the professional, but don't get to the toning process so she can do that part herself at home.
I could also be wrong, this is just what I interpreted. Cheers.
@@Vintagecouturebags I'm pretty sure she didn't mean that the hairdresser just leaves the product in her hair...
How did we go from meticulously measuring exact amounts.... to literally dumping product on the head.
I love Hair Buddha, "I have never seen a scale like that." Should we tell him, or nah? Bless.
You can't be mad at the products when you use them wrong, both in application (no sections) and order of use (step 2 before finished bleaching). Some hair just will not go white or even yellow. Sometimes you need a malibu or clarifying treatment after lightening to get all of the product out. I have highly treated well water. I have to malibu before lightening and before toning. I figured out that the residue on my hair from well water softener and minerals that get through the filter can interact with lightener and make it process faster so I go with 7 vol. This can also happen with build up of coconut oil / hair products. Toners and color conditioners wouldn't take unless I did a malibu before. Then bam! Vibrant even color. Lightening is temperamental science and a bit of magic.
I agree. You don't need to add anything to Blonde Me. Blonde Me is amazing! I used it with the 20 volume Blonde Me and I only needed to do it once. I used it on dry hair and my hair was thoroughly saturated. My hair felt so soft after I was done and I had no breakage.
This guy should have watched some videos first. It seems as though he has never seen a bleaching video. Even a bleach fail video could have shown him how to do it better than what he did. I'm still watching the video so maybe there's hope? Yeah... maybe not.
Hi! Your face expressions are priceless when someone says " I'm going from black to blond hair" . As usual it is a pure pleasure to watch your vlogs. Greetings from 🗼 Paris.
Buddha! PLEASE teach them all the 7 stages of hair lightning.
Lol
I don't understand the obsession with platinum blonde these days. It's as if people think there is only one type of blonde. I bleached my hair to achieve a beautiful light gold color, ala 90s grrrl band. It looks amazing with my curls and shoulder-length hair. Well, it looked amazing until I let my roots grow out enough to literally be half of my hair, but I'll let a professional fix that. 😂
I box dye, have lucked out with it getting my now mid-brown to the gold I needed for my cosplays, and have just kept playing around with tbe different ash tones lol. The bleach blonde fad these days I think is less about the blonde and more about staying light for other colors. More and more people are trying streaks and sections of bold colors, and you need to have lighter hair for it to stick. Then there's also Kpop influence and the variety of tones for Asian hair being bleached, let alone anime and video games and such. But blonde has always been a popular color, there's just more reasons for people to try it out now than before.
They all want to be Targaryens. Well, as my husband said, bleached hair won’t make you fireproof, and it won’t give you dragons.
I’ll bleach part of my hair and I wouldn’t mind if it ends up the colour of hay. I just want it lighter than it is.
I dare to try again thanks to HairBuddahs videos.
It's the Targaryen Trend. People couldn't stop talking about it. This is literally where this all came from, even if people don't necessarily know it now. They may have never even watched the show, but saw a bunch of celebrities sporting the long, colorless hair, and thought it looked great. Now, it certainly functions as a way to achieve certain other colors, but most don't want to use color at all. Btw, I shouldn't have used the word, "golden" because it's actually a pale yellow-blonde. To me, golden implies more of an orange tone. Anyway, I love it. 😊
I got golden highlights before. It was really nice.
Pro tip: Bleach and color is applied on dry hair, if hair is wet you are diluting the product
“That’s why you need to take…SECTIONS!” I died laughing. 😂
....me too
Him: "it's as easy as that"
Me: "you're gonna fuck it up.."
Hair Budda: "sections!!!"
Me: "I knew it!"
He’s a chemist but definitely not a hairdresser!!! 😂😂😂
”Yeah i think it’s kinda cool to have spots…” buddha laughing 😂 😂😂
Today is my Monday, bc I am off Thursday and Friday. What a nice Saturday surprise, Hair Buddha. Thank you! Have a great weekend, everyone. 🌞❤️🌈
Oh wow, great weekend
@@hair-buddha, You made it better. Thank you! ❤️
That was entertaining 🤣
He didn't even brush it beforehand...
I would love to see if he keeps it yellow or messes ot up even more😻
Maybe he’s going for the calico cat look. 😂
I feel like the guy is trolling us with his using a drug scale and calling his measurements “g’s” 😂 just sayin. Still comedy tho
Came here for the drug scale comment 😂
Lol
I don't see how saying the abbreviation for gram out loud is trolling? Unusual, but not funny.
@@ShaCaro It's already a one syllable word. What's the point of the abreviation? In Europe we don't call grams g's.
I said that too about that scale, totally is
It started so well, then went SO Pete Tong.... When HB hissed "SECTIONS!!" I nearly spat coffee on the keyboard! 😂😂😂
Loving Hair Buddha's Innocent mind when he saw the mans scales lol
I think we're all going to have permanent handprints on our face with all the facepalms lol. Poor guy, I hope he got the color he wanted; rather, I hope he had hair left to add the color he wanted.
It's really funny how he thinks he knows everything about bleaching and can teach an audience, but doesn't know even basic stuff, like how much product to use and how it should look applied.
But it's a "tutorial"... on things NOT to do 🤣
That's the issue with some people. They present themselves as knowing when really it's a guesstimate. But hey, ego and pride are nothing new to humans.
Lol right!
...and needs a scale no comment on that one...
Classic narcissism.
My hair Is fine/thin and i'm light brown, I used the blondme bleach with 7vol developer for 45 min. And It came out almost white without damage, thanks a lot for doing these videos 💞
I will never understand why they see their hair coming out and then continue to pull it out. Once I pulled out one stand I would immediately stop pulling
I know right. For God sake stop pulling it. Your hair is on the way to the ER. On life support.
Lol the comment about the scale… we know Hair Buddha isn’t getting up to naughty things😂
You mean buying things in "g's"....👌🤣
14:42 When my hair was in the same condition I also couldn't stop pulling and brushing it, I don't know why but it's so satisfying to do that lol
The scale...lol he just used to trade other kind of powder...
I’m addicted to your videos. My family is scared of my newfound knowledge of hair. I absolutely love your content-you have a new subscriber!
When people pull their hair to be like “omg it’s dead” irks me so bad, like hair that’s never been bleached can be ripped out like that with enough strength just put a mask on 😟
A year ago, I bleached my hair using BLONDME and Olaplex#1. Still burned a good portion of my hair off!!
My mistake was waiting waaay too long, so my regrowth was several inches long. I used foils... and forgot the cardinal rule... TIME EACH SECTION!!
It took so long to foil my whole head, that the back section that I did first pretty much melted off!! Lol
And I am experienced enough to know better!!
The broken section is finally grown out. Every month I do my roots with BLONDME. I use 30vol because I add Olaplex #1
For being bleached continuously, my hair is now is pretty good condition. I am RELIGIOUS about timing each section to get even bleaching!!
Application is just as important as the products!@@
@11:28 I almost fell off my chair, I laughed so hard! 😂😂😂
11:31. You scared the crap out of me when you yelled - "SECTIONS!!!!!". LOL!!!!
He should have gone for a decent short haircut rather than applying this solution 😊🇬🇧
Bro shut up. Go take your unneeded advice somewhere else
Agreed. His hair was a mess before he started & ended up a trainwreck.
@@3horsesrunning199 ha that made me laugh!
It’s crazy because he started out so good and then it all went down hill 😂 there wasn’t anything method to the madness. Bless his heart
Basically just do sections. SECTIONS! 😂😂🤣
I can't believe this guy did all that research on what products to use, was so prepared, measured everything so precisely, and then just tipped the damn bowl on his head! I audibly yelped. You had it all mate, and you threw it away! Hopefully he'll watch Hair Buddha & get it right next time.
omg this hurt my soul!! how did this go from promising to absolute disaster??
LMFAO it's the drug scale doesn't work on hair measurements. Lol
Hi Hair Buddha!Sending love to you and your family! These videos make me love my Hair Stylist even more😃🌼🌼
Is he using laundry detergent caps to mix the bleach??? 👀 Where does he keep getting those tiny cups from????🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ Ohhh noo he destroyed his hair 😱
He missed only one small detail...
the application part. Thank you for the happy moment 🌷
Love watching Buddha his amazing learn lot
I love your videos, Hair Buddha!!
Thank you
I shout SECTIONS right along with you 🤣
Oh my god.... his application hahaha. Wow
Even if the product is good sometimes people unknowingly mess up due to the teqniques.
Yes indeed
love how HAirBuddha innocently doesn't know what his scale is for!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that was so cute!
your innocent is gone!
Well ladies and gentlemen - we have just witnesses a literal mad scientist! 😂Zero common sense, meticulously analyzing the wrong things, carefully measuring and counting and shocked to realize all his hard work and research led him to an undesirable result. LOL...poor guy. A+ for effort though!😜
In all his studying, he couldn't figure out that the #3 he was putting in his hair was clearly blocking the effectiveness of the last couple of rounds!!! UGH.
He started off strong and then... straight downhill.
Hi Hair Buddha I am a 66 year old retired Barber/Stylist in the USA. I am addicted to your videos. It really makes me miss the salon so much. I can hardly wait for me re growth every 6 weeks so I can bleach and tone the long part on the top. I really wish I would of had your videos when I was in the salon. Thank you so much. I was also an instructor too for 6 years. I would have shown your videos in class.
I hear you saying the same thing I keep thinking while watching these videos. "Sections!! Section your hair!!" It may take longer, but the results will be so much better. Dang I miss doing hair color.
Hey hello !!!!! Have a great day
I learned a lot thank you
God bless you
What exactly is the advantage of saying "geee" instead of "gram(s)"? It's both one syllable and I think it takes about the same time and effort.
I think perhaps he's been using those scales for other products sold in "g's" ... gees being the Street lingo 👌
Love your videos Hair Buddha! Your commentary is the best!
If anyone is wondering "Only For Professional Use" is more of a warning they put on the items, it doesn't mean you wont be able to find it an buy it. They're just cautioning you that its a product for Professionals, in my experience you can just walk into a cosmetic or beauty shop and buy it with no issue.(Make sure you can actually buy from them first though, could be different in your area)
Its a weed scale 🙈🤣🤣🤣
I was searching for this comment 🤣
I think Hair Buddha needs to start his own line of brushes, bowls, combs. The cartoon pic of his eyes squinted and teeth quenched with the word...SECTIONS!!! Classic, they'd be a best seller 🤣
I bought Blonde Me, but accidentally got a 30vol, but since I was impatient I just used it. Bad mistake...I lost so much hair and a lot of it isn't growing back (thank goodness for thick hair lol). Now I use the 20vol, and it works great now.
♥️
He has to be trolling🥴😂
“Gives it a lot of details, it looks great”
When you gotta give yourself a pep talk when your DIY hair project goes wrong
In learning I myself have had to give myself that pep talk…. Once I’m done crying
Luckily after 16 years I haven’t cried that much anymore
The little scale is normally used for weighing out drugs, what a way to announce it to the internet . Dem G’s tho 😂😂😂
This was a very good video.... Had me watching till the very end . I'm surprised that he did all that research on the products but had no idea on how to apply the products 😂
11:41 your face 🤣🤣🤣priceless 😂😂😂
This is better then Saturday night live!
Hair Buddha you are the master of the LOOK👀cracks me up everytime!!!
No sectioning not enough product and overprocessing and he wonders why it's not going the way he wants
🙈
I've never understood why people that have no experience bleaching or dying their make tutorials. I do have to admit that I now do tutorials in my mind anytime I bleach or dye my hair. At least in my imaginary tutorials I tell people to use enough bleach and to not brush their goddamn hair when it's still wet.
I’m a licensed cosmetologist and I used Blonde Me bleach for the first time on my friend’s dark blonde hair with 20 volume developer for 45 minutes (used a timer) with foils. About five very small sections of hair broke off. For some reason they over processed and became platinum white. I was SO upset with myself. All of her other foils were fine though. 😭 I’m a perfectionist and I was beating myself up. I had to cut off about seven inches of hair on those five small strands. They all came from the first foil I did.
I wanted to use 10 volume developer but the staff at Cosmo Prof thought 20 volume would lift the hair better. I told staff I was worried it would over process and I was told that wouldn’t happen if I watched the time. My friend’s hair was originally very healthy. I also used a digital scale for measuring. I sectioned the hair in four quadrants and clipped them up. I did sections for the foils that were thin enough to see through them.
My experience with Blond Me has been horrible. I am not sure if I actually got the product because I ordered it online but I do not understand the hype. I have used so many lighteners over the years and never had so much breakage. I am not licensed but I did go to cosmetologist school until I had a baby. That's been almost 20 years and I've been doing my own hair ever since.
Wella blondor is a really nice lightener, amazing for foil work because it doesn't swell very much at all
I have been using blonde me forever and the same thing happened to me in the beginning. It lifts fast but beautifully. When you start your foils always start with seven volume no matter how dark the Hair is. It could even be a level two or three. As you get up towards the middle bump it up to a 20 volume and as you get towards the top I mix have 20 volume have 30 and it all processes the same
I would suggest you didn't need the foils for dark blonde hair, you probably would struggled to work quickly enough. I have level 5/6 hair and it lifts to light blond uncovered with 20v (using blondeme powder and developer) in about half an hour, 40 mins.
@@untetheredsoul I used foils because I didn’t bleach the entire head. I was doing highlights. Without foils it would bleed on the pieces that I didn’t color.
Hair Buddha, your face when he started dabbing on the product! Classic!
SECTIONS !!📣📣📣
Why don’t these people ever take SECTIONS!!!! 😂
oooooohhhh my Goddd 😂😂😂 this is the weirdest one ive seen. he was soo thorough with the products and then THE WORST with the application. so funny 😂

And that is way to little product for his amount of hair….please please people don’t take advice from videos like these. Kind of feel like he deserved it for coaching people to ruin their acting like an expert…. Love hearing you the ways you explain to your followers the right way to do it
