Hello what an inspirational video especially on these hard times that we are going through......with the pandemic.
You actually helped me to start over again as I had abandoned since I got certified almost two years ago. So because of you I got my courage and actually did two friends last week that wasn’t that bad considering what I told you. You have boosted me a lot and want to purse now and why not start slowly on building my little salon.... At the moment I am working from home but hopefully soon from a salon as well.

I am just starting out and I am extremely inspired by your content.
I will have my Esthetician license and graduate from school mid February. I have about five weeks of school left so I have started practicing and taking an online course to become a certified lash technician. I am so excited about this journey because I really feel like I can do this and be really good at it. I spent all these months in school not really knowing what I wanted to do as my specialty but I definitely think lashes are wear it’s at. I am going to have to take clients at my home at first but these will be friends and family and friends of friends. I will not be advertising to the public when working at my house. But as long as they are referee by a close friend I won’t mind that. I have the perfect space to lash.
Anyway I am sooooo excited to get started with my business.

I am currently debating going from a booth rental space in a salon to my home with only Lash services to cut overhead costs and to cut certain services I currently offer. I have been feeling like its time to move on from Nails and get back to Lashing, something I feel is more Zen 🧘🏽♀️. Due to my husband being active duty military. Do you pay your lash technicians by the hour or commission 60%/40%? Thanks so much
Sammi Yen commission vs hourly. (Higher of the 2). Less than $1250 in sales is 40% commission and over $1,250 is 50%. Most reps average $1800 - $2500 per week in sales. Hope this helps. 💕

Such a beautiful space do you recommend having a separate area for lashes if you are offering other services.
You don't have to, but I would say if the other areas tend to be busier or noisier I would have a separate lash area! You want to make sure your clients are comfortable a lot of clients use their lash appointments for relaxation time. ♥
