My personal favorite jumpscares are the ones that don't say anything. They stare silently into your soul, no music and not even a sound effect. It's haunting and leaves me in quiet terror.
The most terrifying ones that i get scared of at night is one: pumpkin rabbit taking the mask off with distorted song. two: child screaming after chica doing the "la la laaa". and three: Creepy face appear inside Sophia's mask.

Jesus it was a terrible idea to watch this at midnight. The Walten Files easily takes the cake as the 2D allows it to be more graphic, the faces and eyes are the most uncanny and the voice acting and other audio is horrifying and juuuust long enough to feel the most uncomfortable.
I like how at least there’s one where a guy fights back with that one with the small blue creature, and how the human Boozoo actually reacts to the jumpscares.

Two minutes in and I'm feeling something of a higher level beyond goosebumps. The exact opposite of chills. It feels like my blood heats up and my body is warm, perhaps inflamed. I can't stand scary movie thrillers and all the jumpscares they have to offer, but knowing analog horror is something an average joe with an above average investment in creativity / video editing, I become invested in watching these videos myself despite all that. This compilation makes me feel things I don't think I've felt before... And again, I'm only 2 mins in, had to pause to say all this, now to watch the rest of it.
Finished it. Goosebumps for sure throughout the rest of the ride. Tbh I snickered at some of these by the end of it. Mandela Catalogue jumpscares are actually the lowest quality ones but having seen the series in full, the storytelling behind them and the buildup backing these ones up is where the real scare comes from. Martin Walls makes some really good jumpscares, they stand a bit higher above the rest in this case. I haven't seen enough of Love n Harmony to recognize the majority of the jumpscares featured on here, and this is also the first I've heard of Killer Genshin (CoryxKenshin??) so I'll have to look into those series a bit more. All the others are well made indeed, I can tell they put a bit of passion in all of their works, so props to everyone featured on here. Edit -- Happy to see others here had the same sense of humor. Watching too many perfectly cut scream videos twists the viewing experience from a scary one to a hilarious one for a handful of these cuts

These are taken out of context and do deserve a look on their own. Walten Files is an obvious choice but Harmony and Horror is pretty good even if it does kinda go overboard with the jumpscarea
The Harmony and Horror ones are really funny when they’re placed back to back.. especially the one where the guy looks like a clown and just rapidly approaches the camera.
I love the changing states of most of these looking like decomposing gore while not being realistically graphic; leaving it to your viewer's imagination as to what viscera the sight depicts works so damn well
This right here is why analog horror is so much better than modern horror movies. Haunting the audience with an uncanny atmosphere instead of cheap jumpscares.

These are funny without context, but I think that's because there's no buildup. You have to be in the right moods to be scared, and that doesn't happen with a compilation.
Ya know the funny thing is that these aren't scary, but when watching the original video it's scarier cause of the suspense the original video hypes up

Jesus it was a terrible idea to watch this at midnight. The Walten Files easily takes the cake as the 2D allows it to be more graphic, the faces and eyes are the most uncanny and the voice acting and other audio is horrifying and juuuust long enough to feel the most uncomfortable.

Two minutes in and I'm feeling something of a higher level beyond goosebumps. The exact opposite of chills. It feels like my blood heats up and my body is warm, perhaps inflamed. I can't stand scary movie thrillers and all the jumpscares they have to offer, but knowing analog horror is something an average joe with an above average investment in creativity / video editing, I become invested in watching these videos myself despite all that. This compilation makes me feel things I don't think I've felt before... And again, I'm only 2 mins in, had to pause to say all this, now to watch the rest of it.
Finished it. Goosebumps for sure throughout the rest of the ride. Tbh I snickered at some of these by the end of it. Mandela Catalogue jumpscares are actually the lowest quality ones but having seen the series in full, the storytelling behind them and the buildup backing these ones up is where the real scare comes from. Martin Walls makes some really good jumpscares, they stand a bit higher above the rest in this case. I haven't seen enough of Love n Harmony to recognize the majority of the jumpscares featured on here, and this is also the first I've heard of Killer Genshin (CoryxKenshin??) so I'll have to look into those series a bit more. All the others are well made indeed, I can tell they put a bit of passion in all of their works, so props to everyone featured on here.
Edit -- Happy to see others here had the same sense of humor. Watching too many perfectly cut scream videos twists the viewing experience from a scary one to a hilarious one for a handful of these cuts

These are funny without context, but I think that's because there's no buildup. You have to be in the right moods to be scared, and that doesn't happen with a compilation.
Ya know the funny thing is that these aren't scary, but when watching the original video it's scarier cause of the suspense the original video hypes up
