- This is probably the first and last cleaning video I will ever make, because I don't enjoy cleaning. (: I couldn't resist adding in the 'Mother-In-Law' part of it, and we had so much fun bringing her into the video! She's the best! I hope you somewhat enjoyed cleaning with me in my messy house!

Yeah! That clean per room style is new to me, as well. I tend to do one type of cleaning chore at a time usually: dust each room, change sheets and wash, sweep, wash floors, throw our trash, then focus on bathroom and kitchen. Do you find it saves time to do one room at a time? :)
When you smelled the egg carton before explaining the diesel, I was wondering if I had been missing out on some egg knowledge my entire life 🤗

I thought after you were finished with all the cleaning the phone would ring and it would be your mother-in- law saying she wouldn't be there tomorrow but she would be there the following week!! I loved it, I think I was holding my breath through most of it from nerves.

Made my day, we were laughing along with you and somehow I knew your Mother in Law was in on it at the end. Your son screaming along with you made it real. You re so awesome so glad I started watching, you made me so happy with your hi jinks and bubbly self. Although I sometimes watch from my television some times I don't get to comment as much. Love your dresses and respect the fact that you honor our Lord. I remember when I was younger we wore veils to church, yet don't know what happen they stopped wearing them. Was raise a Catholic. just out of curiosity, I noticed you had 2 different types of head veil/covering, is it for any specific reason?
YAY!!! Someone that reflects my views! I honestly do not enjoy long cleaning videos, but I know others do and that's great! I just thought I was the odd one out, and when someone said I should make more cleaning videos, I was like... oh please no! 😜
great question! I actually thought about saying something in my video about it, cuz I was sure the question would come up... sometime I plan to make a video about us, but that has to wait. I grew up in a more conservative mennonite church that only wore the cap style covering. We recently started going to a smaller church that doesn't require a certain 'type' of head covering. They just asked that it is either the traditional cap style or a flowing veil... of a certain size. (: A lot of the ladies wear the cap style to go to church and the other for around home and non formal events. There is really no religious reason behind it... but they as a church wanted to respect different people's backgrounds and since it is neither a right or wrong issue, it's optional what you choose. I've chosen to wear the cap style for church and most times when I leave home out of respect to my father. For some reason, the traditional style means a lot to him, so I at least for awhile, I want to keep wearing it out of respect for him. I love my Dad. (: But I will say, they are not very practical. One can not lie down with a cap style covering and they get dirty really quickly and are hard to clean. So I opt for the veil in my daily life. Thanks for feeling free to ask, and have a great night! I am always fascinated by so many different types of ppl with such different backgrounds... but we all have so much in common and we all call ourselves Mennonites :)
@@saraloewen1908 now you have me curious! are we going to start the Mennonite game? So where do you worship?! LOL. Anyway, no in all seriousness, I completely agree with you. People fascinate me. Cultures fascinate me. and different religious viewpoints fascinate me! And the older I get, the more I realize that it's a beautiful picture. There are many negative things we can focus on about people not getting along and agreeing on things, but then I also don't believe that we are all called to the same thing. (I'm not talking about moral issues and God's commands), but rather the way we live out His word. Just as the Bible says we all have different gifts and are called to different ministries, I feel it's the same way in our different walks of life. It's the variety that brings the beauty, and as long as people are following God's teachings, it doesn't all need to be one cookie cutter lifestyle. Look at God's creation, or people's personalities. There is so much variety and it's beautiful! I've always loved that thought... not sure why I went on this bunny trail, but anyway! Cheers!

Just saw this but had to comment. I adored my mother-in-law. In some ways I was closer to her than my own mother. Isn't it great fun to have someone like this to have such a good time with. I loved when your mother-in-law put her cookie back in the box for another take! What a good sport.

Your so blessed have her in your life. I lost mine almost 10 years now. She was only 54. We miss her every day. I only visited her once, since she was in Mexico.

Hey thanks so much! I'm glad you are here and enjoy following along! That's is funny about your MIL! Sounds exactly like our relationship! Little note about the dress... when we were in Oregon we were running out of luggage space, so we sent a box of belongings home via mail. The box beat us home, and my dog got a hold of it. My mom (who was taking care of things) came around to find the box in shreds with all the paper products in shreds, and this very dress being used as a blanket! I was furious! It was a new dress and I liked it! Now, if you look closely, it looks a bit bedraggled, thanks to my dogs.

Btw, my late mother's grandparents farmed in the area of Welsh Run, PA, the area has a large Amish and Mennonite communities. All of her aunts and uncles farmed in the area. My great Aunt was Brethren.

No, no! I'm honestly not a very funny person. If you'd meet me in real life, I'm pretty stale actually. It's easier to try and be amusing on video, because you can do retakes and cut out the parts you don't want. Whereas in real life, I blunder a lot, and can't cut and paste,...sadly.
