PTX dance of the sugar plum fairy is Awesome!!!! They won a Grammy for that arrangement.
I’m not religious, but this is still my favorite version of this song because it’s so beautiful and amazing.
In agreement. Not religious, but I love this version.
The Little Drummer Boy by PTX is amazing too!!!
That is a great one!
He probably should listen to Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy too since it's one of their Grammy winners.
Jase needs to check it out even if he doesn't cover it for the channel. Avi looks so joyful in that video and they all really shine (as always).
I’m normally not a fan of this song but the arrangement that they did made me realize how truly beautiful it is! ☺️
You were like a kid at Christmas when Mitch did his 'great I am'. Love it.
Stole the show for sure!
I love seeing people's reaction to Mitch for the first time awesome.
You will be blown away by PTX dance of the sugar plum fairy. Also the 12 days of Christmas they dropped a week or so ago is awesome!
He's already done it, but it was blocked.
PTX 12 days of Christmas, Dance of the Sugarplum fairies, and Thank you.
Tell him that Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies got Pentatonix their 2nd grammy for arrangement instrumental or a cappella.
Yes to both of these. 12 days of Christmas is INSANE and Dance of the Sugarplum is just amazing.
Fans of Pentatonix will enjoy Voctave. Their rendition of O Come, All Ye Faithful is amazing!!!
Dance of the sugar plum férry HAS NOT WORD IN THE WHOLE SONG And they won a grammy for it. You will love it Amaziñg reaction as usual.
All of these! PTX!
Carol of the Bells - Trust me you want to hear Avi on this one!
White Winter Hymnal - Avi on this one also!!!!
Little Drummer Boy - Pretty sure Avi is awesome on this one too!
Mean One Mr. Grinch - Matt is amazing in this one!
Coldest Winter - This one is just stunning!
All of these please :D
Absolutely! I just suggested White Winter Hymnal as well, totally amazing!
I said same two: Carol of the Bells, Little Drummer Boy ☺️
💕💙🎶🎵🎶 **IF THERE IS MUSIC IN HEAVEN, IT WOULD SOUND LIKE PENTATONIX** 🎶🎵🎶💙💕
The Bass (Avi) is flipping amazing!!!!!!! He’s moved on from the group but he’s just as amazing in person!
Avi does not get very low in this one, but he does in "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy". And they won their 2nd Grammy with that.
One of the most beautiful Pentatonix song!
Yes
What a beautiful start.
Silent night live with your new bass headphones would be amazing!
YES THIS PLEASE
Truly Silent Night is acoustic and live and the arrangement is quite unique. Particularly Avi's part in it.
This is their most powerful song. Hands down. 🙏🏻❤️
"You're a mean one Mr Grinch" by Voiceplay is a nice start to test your new headphones. It came out 2 weeks ago.
If you don't get a concussion from Geoff, they're not good enough.
That could be said for PTX's version too, Matt kills it!
Geoff also made a video with the American Sirens: Mele Kalikimaka
@@alliedonuts8570 yaaasssssss - Jase do the Grinch song by Pentatonix! Matt is PERFECT on that
Home Free “Do you hear what I hear” please. Tim goes subterranean!
Yeah... The power Mitch puts out with that section gives me chills every single time.
if you're not christian, the song is incredible just for the harmonies and skill. It's beautiful!
This was the song that introduced me to Pentatonix, and then Hallelujah. Fabulous! I miss Avi too.
Need to check out Amazing Grace. It is stunning!
Oh come, all ye faithful for Avi's deep bass line!! AND Silent Night for his deep rich BEAUTIFUL voice!
I am a believer and this song blows me away every time I listen to it, and brings me to tears nearly as often. I love Pentatonix because they do songs that help me celebrate Christmas in a worshipful way, but they do festive songs as well. Absolutely amazing.
You're so right! I'm not religious at all but this song, and there performance, is just so beautiful! Another one like that for me is Home Free's How Great Thou Art.
Cry EVERY TIME! So beautiful and the last 30 seconds - you can FEEL the power move you .... and then the sudden silence ... sigh - perfect
React to their “That’s Christmas To Me”. It’s an original, and the video has clips of them all from their childhoods. Also, I love their version of “The First Noel”.
"That's Christmas to Me" is my FAVORITE Christmas song!!!
If the “12 days of Christmas” by Straight No Chaser isn’t on you list for the next couple videos, you should add it!
Yes please!!! Too fun!
or the Christmas Can Can by them.
My thoughts exactly! Any other version just sounds wrong!
I prefer 1998 version of 12 days of Christmas with Straight No Chaser. czcams.com/video/2Fe11OlMiz8/video.html
Love Straight no chaser
And as a deaf music lover. ...Feeling the vibrations of Avi is just as the feeling as hearing it...i imagine!
“That’s Christmas to Me” is maybe my favorite Christmas song ever. Being separated from family for the holidays is always hard and the vocals are perfect and the video just kicks it home. Bittersweet nostalgia that I’m here for.
Good reaction as usual. I'm going to make a strong recommendation for the Xmas season.
Do a back-to-back-to back reaction on 3 videos that are cumulatively about 8+ minutes, but set the stage for this season..."Making Christmas" (based onTim Burton's 'Nightmare of Christmas'); "White Winter Hymnal"; and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". These remarkably show their harmonies, synchronizing, creativity and technical skills ...AMAZING !! P.S. Don't forget the 12 days of Xmas !!
god rest ye merry gentlemen is amazing!!!
Nice to see you react to PTX again. It's been a long time. Thanks. They sing this song so beautifully. Actually, they sing everything beautifully.
This song always gives me chills and teary eyes.
I enjoyed watching you use your new headphones. Avi goes deep in "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fair". Tim goes deep in "Do You Hear What I Hear?" I vote that you do 2 Christmas songs a day. With only 12 you will miss so much.
PTX recently dropped "Amazing Grace," which I believe is a part of their new Christmas album. Avi or no Avi (and the answer of course is "no Avi"), it's very powerful.
Matt is different, but Matt is awesome. It’s like a new evolution of Pentatonix. Same level of awesome, but a new treat to the ear.
Also Avi as a solo artist? Wow!
I was absolutely blown away the first time I listened to it. I love that pentatonix does songs that, as a believer, I can listen to and experience as worship, whether they believe or not. They are spectacular.
We sang this one during my freshman year at high school! In the time since then I’ve graduated from just soprano to beatboxer, but this arrangement is always gorgeous and the way they sing it is incredible!
Pentatonix singing How Great thou Art featuring Jennifer Hudson brings me to tears, each and every time. I have seen Pentatonix in concert and just cried with joy over hearing them and the joy of it all. Absolutely one of my favorite groups of all time and I wish more people were able to truly appreciate them for their talents like you do!
Pentatonix's greatest renditions (top 5 specifcally): Hallelujah, Imagine, Sound of Silence, Can't Help Falling In Love and Mary Did You Know. The power and raw emotion shown and experienced in these 5 make them truly almost spiritual to listen to.
I've always enjoyed this song from hearing it for the first time in middle or high school, and this rendition is hands down my all-time favorite. I don't care how many times I listen to it I will always get goosebumps and eyes watering. I don't consider myself religious but I can appreciate the meaning behind the piece.
PTX “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” is a must!!
I get goosebumps multiple times during this video. There is so much power in their performance and when that PTX "wall of sound" hits you there are all kinds of feels! Like you said, whether religious or not it's hard to not be mesmerized by this!
Thanks for the reaction Jase!
(There is so much good Christmas music out there so I'm hoping you'll do more than one a day. 🎄
You could easily do 12 days of just PTX--they have enough material. 😉)
It would make sense for you to react to pentatonix- 12 days of christmas, on day 5, trust me, you'll know why when you do it
I listen to this song year around and it always gives me chills. You have to Grandma got run over by a reindeer by Home Free. Funny as hell!
Their album 'It's Christmas to Me!' is on constant rotation in the car the month of December. A tradition of some sorts I have with my daughter. 😁😍
This literally gives me chills
ikr
Same
Same
This is my favorite Christmas song ever and PTX does a stunning version. Simple beautiful.
I got to see PTX live a few years ago. It was the day Leonard Cohen died and yes, they sang Hallelujah. The best part of the concert? Singing “Light in the Hallway” without mics. The whole stadium had to be quiet to hear them and it was AMAZING. I’m not religious at all, but am a musician and absolutely love PTX arrangements. Keep the vids coming! ❤️
Goosebumps every freakin time!!!!! The first time I actually cried
Love it. I love your reactions to Pentatonix, and I miss Avi also.
Thanks you for your great PTX reactions ! This is in Bronson cave, Griffith Park, L.A., CA. We got new SKULLCANDY headphones, they are awesome ! So much better than our old ones.
Ptx Dance of the sugar Plum Fairy... your new earphones will blow up! Also a Grammy winner for them!
The bass BOOMS! I got mine on as well.
Home Free's version of "Do You Hear What I Hear" would sound amazing in those headphones too....
Totally agree!
He needs to do “what child is this”
Chris Rupp featuring Home Free
Second reaction of yours I've seen and I'm hooked - your complete commitment to being affected by the sound. Love!
You should react to PTX "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy!"
LOVE THIS SONG! Makes me cry EVERY time I hear it!
😳🥺 This is my first time hearing Kevin sing! I am not disappointed! 🥰
This song was my virgin (Get it?) PTX experience. It was some the most gorgeous harmony I'd ever heard. I became a Pentaholic.in that instant.
Please listen to "That's Christmas to Me", one of their earliest Christmas tunes, and it's an original. Avi and Mitch both really shine in this one.
I would STRONGLY recommend their new song “Thank You”. It is such an amazing song and it’s very heartfelt.
It’s funny, you were the first person I ever watched react to PTX and you got me hooked on reaction videos lol it’s been so amazing being there at the beginning of your PTX journey & watching you become a full blown Pentaholic 🥰 if you’re doing 12 days of Christmas songs then you have to do PTX’s ‘12 Days of Christmas’ in fact you should definitely end on that one it’s phenomenal and also ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ it’s pure PTX magic, no words but they still won a Grammy with it & there’s some great Mitch & Avi moments in there that you’ll thoroughly enjoy 😁
I also started watching reactions after watching Jase react to PTX.
The First Noel, It is so good man
That’s one of my faves also. Not like any other version of that song and Avi kills it!
1st PTX song I ever heard...still makes me cry every time I hear it.
LOL. So many "Damn!" reactions to a religious/Christmas song.
Yah, not to mention the 'Holy Shit!' near the end. Lol! 😆🤦🏼♀️🙏🤣
@@thejollyrogers9808 "holy shit!"... yeah quite literally lol
Home free's Do You Hear What I Hear. The bass will shatter your skull. It's the best version of thissong!
I bawled like a little baby the first time I heard this !
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is my favorite PTX Christmas song it is so intense and definitely showcases all of their voices super well.
This was my first-ever introduction to Ptx, this song and music video when it first dropped and a friend posted it on Facebook. I've been a fan ever since.
Thanks for reviewing this one!
I agree with you. It's a powerful song on it's own but their rendition just blows it over the top!
I live for these reactions to Pentatonix. Omg!!! I love it!
One of my favorite PTX covers is "Say something." Highly recommend it
React to Amazing Grace from PTX, you will not regret it ^^
Pentatonix does bring power to a song! Have you listened to Silent Night by Pentatonix with Avi?
from a fellow Avi super fan, thank you for your wonderful reactions. they make me smile, mostly because I know exactly how you feel when you hear them sing, especially Avi. Please react to the first noel, cant remember if you've reacted to dance of the sugar plum fairy (2nd Grammy win), oh come oh ye faithful and silent night. Happy Holidays Jase!!!!!
Imagine only feeling the bass! Powerful..#deafmusicrocks
This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs. Pentatonix standing in the cave (tomb) is a masterstroke - the link between Jesus' birth and death is given a visual anchor to this incredible song.
Next Christmas, I recommend the concept album Do You Hear What I Hear? by Todd Agnew. A lot of guest vocalists join him to tell each part of the Christmas story from their own POV. It showcases a variety of styles (and emotions) and is an amazing musical journey to take for a well-known story.
Another phenomenal song is You’re A Mean One, Me. Grinch, that really shows of Matt’s voice
They do this song phenomenally
Such an amazing start to Christmas!! Please also listen to the Voctave version with Mark Lowery. It is so good!!!
god rest ye merry gentlemen will always hold a place in my heart
Goosebumps. Every time.
One of my favourites!! Should listen to stairwell siren her voice is just as haunting!
PTX just recently released their 12 Days of Christmas, and it's glorious.
Man, I LOVE when you do PTX reactions. Please don’t ever stop 🙏🏻🙂
I agree with ya dude. The last 30 seconds of the song is the best. Layered harmonies are ear candy.
PTX, Dance of the Sugar Plumb Fairies.....PLEASE!!!
This is a beautiful song, and they more than do it justice! One of my absolute favorites, second only to Carol of the Bells
Oh yeah! That wall of harmonies! I get shivers every time. So glad you enjoy it too... 9 days to Xmas. 🤗
Anything they do is AMAZING!
Great reaction! Definitely recommend Voctave “O Come All Ye Faithful”! Merry Christmas 🎄
The power of the music.... awesomeness
By far my favorite christmas song.
somebody’s having a “new headphones” eargasm! love it!
Masters of harmony!
One of my all time holiday favorites is Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame by Voctave. Very fun arrangement and exceptional vocals.
My hubby has bought me new Bose headphones for Christmas, I can’t wait to hear Pentatonix wearing them. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄🎅🏻☃️🧑🎄🎁🎄🎅🏻☃️🧑🎄🎁🎄🎅🏻☃️🧑🎄
Pentatonix delivers ear-gasms!!
OOOOOOOOO Straight No Chaser's version of 12 Days of Christmas is great! It is my go-to Christmas song and the original song just sounds weird to me now!
Carol of the bells...🙂
This song hits you in all the feels!
PTX cover of the sound of silence!! You’ll see how low Scott can really go, it’s phenomenal
