My bracket doesn't line up with those holes with the new hole drilled, and the kit never came with those black brakets lol I'll work it out.

Great video! On this particular install you mentioned the person had a sub. I noticed that there were no RCA's connected to the unit. Did this person use a compact amplifier and essentially used the factory ]speaker wiring? It would be great to have an install video on speakers and amplifier for a hilux. Great job anyway guys!

Correct yes but only the functions the stereo controls. The rest remains.
How to bypass handbrake for full functionality whilst in motion?
Just put the handbrake sensor to ground.

In my country the Hilux is Left Hand Drive, so It's possible install Kenwood DDX917WS in the original facial kit, or there's facial kit for LHD hilux?
After my researchs, no, you can't find the facial kit as that one for LHD hilux but you can instal the Kenwood anyway. Hope the same kit will be made soon ;)

Good on your for sharing this how to - but funk man, what an utter ball ache this seems to be. Previous gen dmax is like 5 mins tops, not sure about current. Would def just pay someone like yourself as I would balls this up quick 😅👍
am I the only one who noticed he did not tighten the top right screw 36::50 and 36:51
