Ive had a few of these dime novels for years but just finally started reading them! I read this one a couple nights ago and really love how the story can paint a picture of the feel of how the game might go. Loved your night train video as well. Donât have that one yet!

@@1ShotJC I just saw that they were rereleasing it! Iâm a Classic player though and I donât think they were releasing anything in Classic form unfortunately. Unless I misread the campaign somewhere.
I have to say though I just discovered your channel and really have been enjoying it. Do you plan on covering any more Deadlands stuff in the future? Thereâs not much out there and I really appreciate how you break down ideas and tips on running the games. Thanks!
For preventing the burning of the ship, you could say the whole ship oozes water or a wet substance from everything. Consider it as a side effect of the spell which transported the ship there, melding the ship with some of the ocean it was in when teleported. A melding kind of like in the movie The Fly, only with the ship & water.

If you move up giving the lighting gun to the ship's NPC then you have to worry less about PC's burning it down.
I started Deadlands with the GUPRS version and the two Dime Novels that SJG published. This was my second adventure I ran using Classic Deadlands. I run and play the SWADE version today. I may have to take another look at this one.
Would take the route of the people from the coach just disappearing, not turning up as corpses in the coach. That would be a deterrent to burn down the ship as the disappeared people might still be in the ship.
Nice! This is such an elegant solution. You could even say a local celebrity like a beloved ex-governor disappeared, and the PCs are quietly asked to find him, or even recover his body if he died along the way.
