The colors of the brioche shawl are so flattering on you. If you the colors, then you should wear it whenever you want to, even if it's not "in season"!
Thank you so much 😊
I just started on my first brioche project too! Also a shawl, with a few sections of two colour brioche. It is really addictive.
It really is!
Hi! I'm also currently working with a 100% alpaca yarn. In my case I'm holding Drops Alpaca (also sport weight) with a mohair to make the Theodore Wrap (wrap cardigan) by kolibri by johanna with 5mm needles. It's my second project ever and so far I'm really loving the drape that the yarn provides. If you're looking for a sweater pattern, I've heard that the Stick Season Sweater by Rebeccca Clow is originally made with Drops Alpaca and a mohair, which would result in a decent DK weight sweater.
That's a great idea!
Hi Jacque, love your enthusiasm and no you’re not the only only that gets emotional about yarn beauty, it’s addictive 😅
In regards to your silk cast on, it’s beautiful and have been thinking of making one myself too, the round neck makes it so much wearable. Just be aware the silk will also grow in length so keep that in mind.
While watching your video I was working on my newly cast on Trillium Lake by Kay Hopkins in Lion brand 24/7 cotton.
Loved the idea of getting a chalk bag, but I don’t think I’ll be ever able to knit and walk since it doesn’t look like I can get my eye away from my knitting for too long 😂
Thank you so much! I’m excited about your cast on.
I hear you on the v-necks!
Haha!
After I saw that episode from Knitty Natty I got one of those chalk bags too! It also works great hung on my spin bike.
Love that you got one too 😊
I’m so excited to have found your podcast! I’m also in Madison, WI! I feel we have similar taste in patterns - I’m currently working on a Lumme Pullover (which I saw that you’re completed) and recently finished a pair of I’m So Basic socks.
I love that you’re in Madison too! What colors are your lumme? I love that sweater so much.
@@jacqueismaking I’m using a brown for the background and an undyed cream for the colorwork. Pretty neutral. But I’m totally inspired by your bright/neon shawl!
Love the pants!! 💙
What are some knitting podcasts you enjoy?
I love knitting podcasts so much! Right now, the wooly worker is my favorite, I love hearing her thought process through her knits. I also always love NE knits!
