I wish the camera could be more shaky. I don’t think it was shaky enough
He agrees for draw readily 4:21
Drinking water and playing with the pieces during game makes you invincible.
love how he stays and watches the game next to him
Former world champion Kramnik v MVL were battling away, but the cameras were trained on onlooker Magnus Carlsen.
Fredobel51 there were cameras for Kramnik-MVL at the back
4:24 yu yangyi gets his hand to pause the clock on the right side
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Foi mesmo kkkkkkkkkkkkk
3:58 they both knock the clock at the same time !!
Watching former world champion in action is always pleasure.. Seems current world champion also feels like me.. ❤️ for Vladimir Kramnik and ❤️ for Magnus Carlsen..
For a second I thought there would be rematch.. 😅
Thanks sagar to put some nice games
He shah does a good job :)
What if all players in the tournament got draw? So who is the champion?
Organizer,😅
@@stem6109 😀😀😀
If all the players draw, there’s a special rule. Everyone receives paper and pencils, and they have to draw.
Everybody gets a participation ribbon. Lol
Kontol the champion
Magnus won the blitz tournament????
Yes.
Move before switch time
Always love Magnus.....my Idol
What about vishy
Vishy is a top class player with superb tactics...whenever they face of its always entertainable....unbelieveable...
DARKMAN Magnus(only dark wears)
In the first it was like earthquake in the moves
I'm not a chess expert at all. But why did he call for a draw? There's a ton on pieces on the board still. The game seemed like it still had quite a bit of life, right?
For us newbies yes, but for gms they know how it will end by a couple move in
Probably time pressure. There is no advantage for either player in that position and rather than risk it, they play it safe and if they are in the lead all they need is a draw to beat out anyone on their heels.
wait i thought they drew because they repeated the same moves 3 times , isn't that the rule? I may be wrong
Draw for black is usually fine on GM lvl. Since the position was very even white didn’t risk rushing it against the top 1 player in the world :D
How do these chess players survive in India? Whenever I visit India I get sick because of the food or bacteria. Do they bring their food with them?
They don't eat food at shitty places
yeah youre fine as along as you avoid street food , but then again it tastes good lol. Only us indians are immune to street food tho
Hum a bit fast the draw decision
Matthieu Asnar they didn’t want to break advantage in the last 4 moves so Magnus did the right thing. Yu got to draw Magnus in blitz which is an achievement he should go tell to his grandsons in the future.
what the hell was this camera man thinking
😃💯👍👌👋
Why??? Draw???
Carlsen had the chance to draw by the Threefold repetition rule. Read wikipedia for the details but simply put they were repeating the position at the end, none wanted to play a different move.
This is also a way of drawing the game if one player is down in material but finds a way to check the enemy king perpetually, and therefore when the same position occurs for the third time it's a draw because no progress is being made.
@@GrandMoffTarkinsTeaDispenser but here carlsen offered a draw. If he moved queen to protect that black bishop then it would have been three-fold repetition
No, Carlsen had the right to declare a draw if he so wished and he did. The three fold rule says that if your move just repeated the same position for the third time you can declare a draw, or alternatively, if it's your turn and your next move can do that, then you can declare a draw, which is what Carlsen did, he declared the draw before making his move. Notice if he does the same one more time the position is reached for the third time.

Why is magnus becoming arrogant?? He wasn't like this...
arrogant?
The guy took quite long to react to ...Rb8, the standard move in the position, aiming to slow down white’s queenside play.
Main line in this variation is Bg5 that’s why
Ok. I learned a repertoire based on MC’s repertoire in which ...Rb8 is recommended, as far as I remember (I went back to the French Defence).
@@torrubirubi yeah apparently the move is becoming more popular now. It seems that GMs don't want to play the line with Bg5 - Nc2 - 0-0 - a4 - ba - Ra4 - a5 - Bc4 - Rb8 - b3 anymore as it was played like billion times alrdy
I understand
I gave up every Sicilian, as it seems too hard for me. Although I am sure I would begin to like it if I would invest more time to learn the lines.
