Five Nights At Freddy’s is a titan of the video game industry. But one thing that still manages to confuse even the most dedicated fans is the lore. And with a new FNAF game coming out very soon, things are about to get even more complicated. I mean, the companies from the Half-Life universe were pretty damn ballsy, too. Aperture and Black Mesa did some absolutely INSANE things. Genuinely crazier than Fazbear Entertainment.
About as ballsy as Action Park. Just like Action Park with theme park laws, there was barely any laws on how robotics should function so safety in robotics barely existing is how this got happening

You ALSO forgot to mention that after Elizabeth had been a victim of Circus Baby, William didn’t want any of his children going near her anymore. The crying child was already deathly afraid of the animatronics and William encouraged Michael to continue scaring the crying child with his masks of the animatronics. William also transmitted a high-pitched sound to the crying child’s room. It was so high it made the crying child see things. William sent the sounds to his room every night so that the crying child would think he was being attacked by horrifying animatronics, which is what we know as FNAF 4.

On one side, you've got William who got his own kids killed by his own creations.
Then on the other you got Fazbear Entertainment who literally can't make restaurants secure enough from William.

Well according to the books Afton himself is said to be the owner and co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment so he probably pulled some strings to make his job easier
To people wondering why fnaf storyline is weird and messed up, it is because Scott planned 3 games, not more.
Tbh it should have ended at FNAF 7, would've been the perfect ending. But at the same time i think FNAF 8 (Fnaf VR) was a really good game so idk.
Edit: technically it did end at FNAF 7, but William Afton is still alive in Glitchtrap.

Honestly I think this timeline is perfect, it’s simple yet covers everything important. I don’t think we need more timelines with more complicated details when this one seems to wrap everything up just fine
if i recall correctly, William said in the books that putting on the suit tricked the ghosts into thinking he was one of them. or something to that effect. so that's probably why he put the suit on in that cutscene.

Honestly my theory is that Henry built the puppet specifically to protect Charlotte from William. Because even though he hadn’t murdered any children yet (that we know of) surely he’d still have a bit of a creepy vibe from him. I think the reason that the puppet and Charlotte merged was because it had it’s only purpose to protect Charlotte from William destroyed. So it gives its form to Charlotte’s soul as one last attempt to save her

Maybe the reason that Springtrap's jumpscare in FNAF3 is so anticlimactic is that he's trying to judge whether or not it's actually Michael, because he doesn't want to directly hurt one of his kids

the reason the crying child is so scared of the animatronics is because he is the child in fnaf 4. his dad, william, is making him see illusions using a sound that makes people hallucinate. he did this after his daughter died from circus baby. he knew how dangerous the animatronics were and he tried to keep his kids away

I feel like Wendigoons take on the timeline made the most sense as far as motivation for William. Instead of William just being a child killer, having Evan die and then observe his soul in Freddy makes a little more sense. Rather then "I just like to kill kids" its Afton coldly trying to understand why souls attatch to animatronics and expirementing by killing or rebuilding more children. Then descending into blood lust.

Purple guy as the phone guy was the most convincing red haring made by the community ever, had me long after everyone else had moved on.
Phone Guy being Golden Freddy was a thing for awhile there too,
Tbf, the only real reason we had to suspect phone guy was because he was the only character in the game with lines and worked at freddy's. He kind of got thrown out by most people once we got actual named characters.

27 minutes of lore is more than most stories can go without becoming overly derivative or filler-ish
This is only two thirds of it. The books add more lore reveals, while simultaneously making any lore reviewer want to vomit because of how confusing they are.

Ty for making this video! It's fun to watch over & over & over again! However, I don't really agree with the idea that Michael went to Fnaf 3 after he died. The reason why is because when the oxygen levels drop and the lights flash, the player starts blacking out, however Michael couldn't black out if he didn't have any lungs to react to the oxygen drop.
Imagine being William Afton, building child killing machines, murdering countless children yourself, having your children killed by your own creations, scanning your soul on a computer chip, getting killed in a bunny suit (he’s not dead but I couldn’t think of another word) and chilling inside of it locked in a walled off room for 30 years just to come out and survive 2 arsons, then be perpetually tortured by a child you killed, then hacking your computer chip of a soul into a vr game and using it brainwash people into becoming the next you. What a family friendly game series.

1) the bite of 83 wasn’t a springlock failure because it was already on animatronic mode
2) fredbear is not golden freddy they are way different
3) the funtimes were created to test remnant
4) Elizabeth died before C.C. that also explains the stomach mouths in nightmare and nightmare fredbear
5) the puppet was made to protect Charlotte you weren’t wrong but you just didn’t mention it

I think that the reason why Afton hopped in the spring lock Bonny suit was because he thought it was immune to the ghosts since it had a direct connection to Golden Freddy.

Even matpat got it wrong. For starters, the crying child was killed by Fredbear not golden freddy. And we only here the name Fredbear 2 times in fnaf 4. The second strongest nightmare is nightmare Fredbear. And also he is not called nightmare golden freddy. Therefore, Fredbear's soul is the crying child's. And golden Freddy's soul is casady's. And also when you die in any fnaf game, you don't possess them. And Finally why would William's own son try to torture him forever.
I used all of my fnaf logic to figure that out.

this is actually called "cow tools" based off a comic strip from a while ago of a cow with some poorly shaped tools. all the strip was supposed to be about was a shallow joke about how cows would be bad at making tools, but everyone read really far into it and started drawing conclusions of what the meaning of cow tools was. simply put some random baseless shit and people *will* draw a conclusion
