@@Hairguard pseudoscience hahaha
Im 59, started losing hair 25 yrs ago, taking minoxidil since 40, but still lost hair to the point of needing a hat.
I had a spine issue at 55 and started using an inversion table and immediately started seeing hair regrowth. At the same I figured Id get serious about my health and scaled into a hardcore longevity regimen, diet, exercise and supplements.
I have had enough regrowth that i no longer need a hat. I no longer shed hair, I still want more regrowth and will incorporate whatever natural methods I can.
BTW I do 15 minutes per day on the inversion table. Massage scalp in shower, but now i will add in more massage time out of shower.
I put peppermint oil with carrier on scalp at nite when sleeping. I stopped taking Minoxidil all together.
Thanks for the informative video on massaging scalp.
Upside down for how long?
@@MycoolNZ 15 minutes
I been going ham for like 6 months now. My hair definitely looks fuller. My haircuts look way better. My routine is when I wash my hair, I'm using a scalp brush to get the dandruff off as much as possible. I do hand massages for about 3-5 minutes to really get the blood flowing. I make sure my scalp is moving significantly. Then I use my Breo scalp massager until it turns off automatically. The scalp massager really moves my scalp in a shiatsu type of motion. I use it about 10 minutes. I just do it while I'm watching a video like this one. I think 3 x a week is enough to see results in half a year. Of course in this case more is actually better. I try to do it daily. In the beginning I was doing it twice a day.
That fibrosis is definitely a culprit. A lot of my friends ended up with shiny heads in their late 20's and early 30's were experiencing MPB.
Before I did scalp massages, my scalp was tight and almost the same color as the skin on the rest of my body. 5 months into massaging my scalp 5-10mins daily. I noticed my scalp felt "thicker" and white. I guess it's a step forward. 🙂
I started massages 3 months ago and seeing good results.
Hey, that's good to hear.
@@Hairguard ❤❤
Yes, and also, that's good 4 hair lol
This intuitively makes sense to me, thanks for breaking down the science.
Do scalp massage 4-5 min specially in the shower under moderated hot water ! You will see gain in very short time . Never use any kind shampoos. But beneficial planted soaps. But only apply 1 time. Do not wash 2 times. The logic is that scalp need to be moisturized. After shower you need to apply your favourite non greasy lotion or anything . I could find a great mixture includes moringa, clove and hibiscus. You can find it here on CZcams. Thank me later . We will all succeed 🙌🏻
Sure, the key is to be consistent.
@@Hairguard friend what u think about LLLT ? I think it might be useful too
@@PlayRunner it’s always good to stack treatments that work through different mechanisms
@@Hairguard friend I think also city water matters about all skin and hair health care . Very important topic
I've been doing this scalp massage with a brush for a while, I can say it does create good blood circulation, hair after a while looks slightly thick, but I'm losing hair on my crown and it does not grow back. Existing hair yeah, it helps to keep it alive.
Scalp massages DO work, but he's right, they are tiring to do everyday
Yes, that's true.
@@Hairguard Right!
Bullshit
No they don't
@@ession2271 Agreed, alot of bullshit
Honestly, this video explains a lot.
This makes sense. There is no other way to explain the "pattern" aside from some relation to inflammation, tension, blood circulation.
Well made and well explained video guys.
Detailed breakdown. I can't find fault with your theory. Do you recommend doing all 3 massage techniques or is that overkill?
Wonder if taking a flushing dose of Niacin B3 before messaging would be if assistance?
Hi there, does it mean that we shouldn’t take collagen supplement because of potential build up and creating fibrosis?
Please can you link to the studies you cited?
Finally a hair loss company actually putting out an innovative product. Good upgrade from the first version of the Growband.
Sounds like an ad

i was a former expat in Singapore. There is a hair clinic that does hairloss treatment. The treatment would last about an hour, 2x a week. At the beginning and end of every treatment, there is a scalp massage that would last about 15 mins.
Please make the hair massage product available in India
Using moisturiser on my scalp seems to loosen the tension on it.
Informative video :)
Some actual real innovation in the hair loss space is good to see.
Thank you.
@@Hairguard Welcome!

Thanks for valuable information. Like from india.

How do you massage using your hands? Slow? Fast? Circular..? Vertical? Hard, gentle…? Was hoping to at least get that answer in this nearly 30 min video.
I thought that flexing the occipitalis and forehead muscles (thus moving the whole scalp back and forth) is a good way to do a scalp massage, but this is a strengthening exercise which probably increases tension. And muscle tension in those areas is not a good thing, right?
That's a great question and honestly I don't know the answer. I certainly would do just muscles flexing. Pair it with some manual massages for sure.

Great video, how long do you recommend using the Growband for?
10 minutes per day
Another great video guys. Do you recommend doing all types of massages?
Thank you Frederick. It depends on your situation and how much time you have. Anything is better than nothing.
@@Hairguard Welcome!!!!
You used to sell a manual rubber scalp massagers that were great! Where can I find them now?
We still sell scalp brushes but it's a harder plastic now. We've found its better. Its on the website.
@@Hairguard I've seen them but the red ones were perfect for me
Wouldn’t microneedling cause build up of scar tissue/collagen?
depends on healing and your frequency
The Growband is still out of stock?
Please check the website, also double check the shipping destinations.
I started using Jamaican Caster oil on my hair line and it helped it to grow back a little. I need to keep doing it tho 😅 And stop picking at that area
Thanks for sharing!!
I am waiting list since, six months never got cupon or anything to buy it, how should I get this product, its always say on waiting list.

Growband + finasteride = mega results. Norwood 3 back to 2 in half a year.
Good to hear my friend. Winning combination.
Price of the band??
You can check the website :)
@@Hairguard thx
I have very loose scalp from microneedling and massages, but still balding.
For how long have you been massaging for ? Have you seen any results ?
I can't find fault with any of the theory but yet to try scalp massages myself.
Fair enough, give them a try.
@@Hairguard Surely!
What are you thoughts on hair transplant
Just massage it bro
Hair transplants are great but you must stabilise your hair loss first.
I wonder if the daily friction of massaging can cause hair thinning?
I think at the start it can cause a small amount of shedding for some people. However those hairs probably would have fallen out anyway.
💯💯💯
Bro atleast give timestamps 😢
If your searching through the comments if this works look no further because it does
The Growband is actually wayyy better now you guys added the Growbox and made the whole thing automatic and battery powered.
Agreed, much easier.
If you had posted your account number we would have done some contributions for your effort. This may helps you for more research and study.
'Natural' or noting, period.

I agree with massaging on scalp. It has to help. It works on the body as well. I use it as 1 of 5 physical hair regimen tools. I help men get their high school hair line back on my channel naturally no matter the scale.

No matter the scale, really??
Care to share the details how to do that? Please reply.
lol scammer
@@user-uf3uq9fm1s Dont be too hard on yourself. The economy is struggling a bit. You will get it together one day.
I;'ve tried scalp massages at 3 different phases in my life, each time, it accelerate my hairloss and didn't' come back. I hope that's not the case for everyone :-(
Firstly make sure you have androgenetic alopecia. Which areas of the scalp did you perform the massages? You may have just had some initial shedding.

It's caused by a fungal infection.
Bow down like muslims when they pray, touch the ground with the top of your head (preferably on a carpet) and make circular motions with your head using your neck. It won't make you tired and the blood can flow trough your scalp more easily. Periodically change the portion of your scalp that touches the ground to be able to work every area of it.
Interesting idea.
Rather eat shit.
