I'm torn. I love Bertram, I used to fish a 33, and we put that thing through the ringer and it took it like a champ, that was one boat I trusted my life to. That said, I'm just not sure I like the new Bertrams when Viking and Hatteras and Bayliss and all the others have come so far in the sportfish world... nice boat, but I'd prefer an old heavy battlewagon 80's Bert over a new one if given the choice.
This is one beautiful and classically styled bertram. I also love the master state room with the large window. Rare to find a sport fisher with a window in the master these days. And even more rare to find an actual front window that looks into the bow.

Love the open gally. Older boats create a cabin thats all enclosed...not an ideal setting if some folks get sea sick. This vessel is beautiful, but at 4 million? Ouch. You guys really gotta consider what else is out there.
They could have done a better job with the interior, and frankly I do not like that forward salon glass. Guess I'll be keeping my 1996, 46' Bertram for several more years.
@@barryfields2964. I couldn't say right off hand without knowing the construction of the vessel and where it's strengths are, but assuming the bow is reinforced like most are you could use a small hand cranked crane to get an inflatable on and off.
I am a bit sentimental about the Bertram name historically but honestly... I would not consider her in a class with Hattaras or Viking... not any more.

Do not discount the mid 90's, 46 & 50 before Ferretti ruined the brand.
