- Moza is at it again. It has released another brand new sim racing steering wheel, the RS V2.
The succesor to the original RS wheel from 2021, and we have been putting it through our paces here at Traxion.GG HQ.

We just need a cheaper F1 / Gt style wheel :) loving the new products. Had my R9, CS and SRP pedals for a few months now and really happy!
i agree getting the r5 bundle soon but the f1 wheels are a bit to pricey

If you didn't press confirm order yet, apparently you can't use upgrade to an R9 later and switch it into your R5-set, likewise with the wheels even (as in you couldn't use their 500 bucks F1-style wheel on your R5-base) IFFFF I heard correctly, but I did hear this in a video review which did put me off of buying a bundle myself
Moza hardware is so good that i got too passionate about sim racing and just bought simucube hardware including active pedal and a wayyyy too expensive wheel.

Its good that MOZA are Expanding like this, we need another Major Competitor on similar prices to Fanatec, this Should hopefully overtime lead to prices coming down for DD Wheel Bases and Wheels

I think Moza are coming along fine i received my R9 and GS wheel in April and so far no problems with it, RS V2 looks like it might make its way onto my shopping list
If you like the GS, you will love this!
Have an R9 with CS and love it. Would also like it if Moza would offer interchangeable rims. Their wheels are setup perfectly to do this.
i have currently the GS V2 wheel since i mostly play ACC and iRacing but with Forza Motorsport coming out and also AC2 probably some form of early access next year, i was thinking also about a round wheel for sports and supercars...
so i am contemplating getting this one, i am really impressed with mozas products.
I wish they had not gotten rid of the horn button. That is one of those small features that are useful for those casual users who play driving and trucking games alongside racing games.
Use a button for a horn.
@@surrealix58 But that still doesn't give the sensation you get whenever you hold down the middle of the steering wheel. Plus, that button that would have otherwise been the horn in your case could have been used for something else such as cruise control or an additional brake.
Moza needs to do a sequential shifter and handbrake for rally drivers....
I heard that was in the works but not for some time. Late 2023 I beleive

How did you find the shift indicator? I don't like that it's a bar with colour bleed as opposed to individual dot lights.

what is/are the bolt pattern/s? can i use aftermarket real car steering wheels when the leather gets nasty?

Now that I am dumping ALL my Fanatec gear due to my defective Fanatec gear with zero communication from them, I decided to go all Moza and just ordered an R12 wheelbase, the RS V2 wheel, the KS wheel, the CRP pedals, along with a shifter and handbrake. I sure hope to God that Moza treats me better than Fanatec has, as my new sim racing hobby is no starting to cost me serious money like my music studio equipment.
really need ps compatability.
i only have one question left. i want to drift with my wheel and i want it to feel as realistic as possible.
wich one do i choose the Cs or Rs
@TraxionGG, does it feel more rigid/sturdy than the CS Wheel? I remember several reviewers saying that the CS was really only suitable for the R9/R5 and that it would potentially exhibit excessive flex on higher-end DD units. Does the RS remedy this?
John will have a try tomorrow and see if there is anything noticeable. Sadly we cant test it on the high-end DD units, so it's unlikely we can genuinely test this other than through feel
Hello! As Rwaggy said yesterday, I can't test it with anything beyond the R9 base sadly, however I can tell you that it feels very similar to the CS when on the R9 and when testing it for flex whilst holding it. Nothing gave me signs personally of any potential flex 'issues', but there is the slightest of movement there for sure. I would say it's well worth asking another reviewer who has tried it with the 16 or 21 bases! I hope you get your answers :) - John

Can I play GT 7 with moza steering wheels?? I saw a list of the games dint see GT7 on the list??

I actually think the camouflage style etching works a lot better on this GT style wheel than their formula wheel.
The forged carbon look is on their GT3 style rim, the Formula wheel with integrated display has a standard carbon fiber look.
@@gonuts4donuts You're right, it is technically a GT wheel. I forgot there was a difference between the two besides the notable upgrades on their formula wheel but the GS wheel is 300mm compared to the FSR being 280mm, so it is definitely more of a GT or Prototype size than formula car wheel, although the design of this type of wheel definitely evolved from formula type racing.
