    This is word cloud as an artistic exercise - meaning you have the time to do the artwork. I was hoping for something more functional, like for a business setting (i.e. survey responses) where we do not have the time to position and resize every single word. Thank you for the tutorial, but it's not quite what I was hoping for.

      maybe wordle can do it for you, but then you can insert it into an image of your choosing

    sorry, I did not undersatnd, does this cloud adjust the size of the words according to their ranks? thanks in advance!

    When you created your Rank formula you forgot to press F4 for an absolute reference, so your rankings are incorrect. However, this was still an interesting tutorial which I might try to find a use for. Thanks.

    Can the words be generated with respect to its frequency?

  • @jenkinsmacedo9095
    @jenkinsmacedo9095 Před 3 lety

    The only problem is that there is no association between the randomized number, the rank and the words. The size of the word in the cloud should reflect the frequency (that is how many times that word appeared in the words listed).

    sorry to say but word clouds should adjust the size automatically otherwise no point in having this and resizing this manually..

    The formula was good, but I was looking for excel to generate a word cloud (infogram) and this is copying and pasting!

    You spent more time explaining how to generate random numbers and ranks than the technique you promised in the title, if we take out all the basic stuff out of your video it will not be more than 3-5 minutes. Please mention in title/description if the video is for beginners or experts.
