feroz lakhaniI have coin eagle I want to sell coin call me 1970 years ok
Couch Collectibles can you help me out figure out what’s wrong with a nickel I found coin roll searching
Hey! Great content, you've been super helpful on my coin journey. I wanted to ask, do you notice a big difference in using/needing a scale that goes to .1g vs .01 or .001?
I just bought a .1g thinking it handled .01g and I'm not sure if I will need the .01 or more.
Thank you so much!
1965 that's 55 years ago! I have been keeping them but just thought I'd check their value...so millions made, dang. were these the first that were sandwitched with copper? that's how I tell if they are the full silver since I don't have a scale. thank you for the very informative video! all the best to you.
I have 3 of them. :)
I have a weird 1965 quarter that weights 5.9 grams and looks more silver than cooper. The sides are really wavy where the silver and cooper are. I have a regular 1965 that weighs 5.67 to compare it too.
I have a 1965 quarter that has been struck with an error , having two circles with a diameter of 2cm each, one placed on the obverse of the coin , one placed at the temple and at the throat. under the jawline . What should I do ?
question about the one struck on a nickel planchet, what do the edges look like? are they ridged still or is it flat like a nickel?
just found a 1965 quarter, it's in very good condition.
Thanks for this informative vid!
I love the fact that when I come here it's always 💯 accurate info, Big Like
Lol. I used to watch your vids a lot when I first started collecting and learned a lot. Def helped me to learn a lot of the basics. Also, just a heads up, the two silver quarters at the end were actually the same quarter. The numbers and even die markers all matched 100%. I guess whoever paid 5,000 flipped it for a couple grand profit.
Great info. Think I should check my 65's. Thank you.
Thanks!
Thank you for the great video.
I have been collecting coins since 1970.
And you are spot on.
You have made a professional presentation.
And at the beginning of the video, I only know raroty is what makes a coin valuable.
As does the condition.
And all of the mentioned coins in your video can be found.
As it depends on the amount of effort you undertake.
Otherwise you are extremely knowledgeable and professional in your knowledge of coins.
As you probably know that people spend rare coins all the time.
That's what coin collectors have to keep in mind.
When his you find a rare coin, you must take into considering if the coin is worth having it sent out for certification and professional grading.
Businesses such as ANACS,PCGS, ICG and NGC are excellent choices for certification and professional grading.
Great Video!
Best of luck finding these mentioned quarters.
As I am old enough to remember when you could see silver coins as common.
Of course, I am talking about 1963 .
And being told as a boy, "Save your silver coins as they will be worth something someday"
I even remember in 1966 my father was able to buy ten dollars worth of Real silver dollars, all dated 1927.
My point is that you probably will find these coins even now.
As it would be very slim chances.
Of course, your persistence will pay off.
And using a metal detector and knowing where to go.
And using a metal detector on old settlements.
And where you only need the permission of the property owner.
Otherwise you could well find all of these quarters.
Best of Luck.

Hey Justin! I got excited over a 65' in my p.change today hoping I might have got a lil nugget on me beaters.I see some off centered on the obverse lettering but upon closer inspection it's so worn I am not so sure. Should I bother w it or send her back.I tend to get attached easily and might catch feelings.youre input would help me TREMENDOUSLY!!$$THANKS JUSTIN$$
Nice quarters Justin, thanks for sharing them with us!! Did you notice the difference in the eagle (indented) on the first silver quarter (4:38) and the eagle (raised) on the second silver quarter (5:45)? Thanks again for the video!!
I have a coin like that.
I have this coin 1965
Awesome video Justin! I think I have one of those, I have to check!!!!🤗thank you for this information. By the way I haven't gotten my coins yet isn't that crazy? I run to the mailbox everyday looking for them.

I have a few quarters 1967 and earlier and I have a ton of pennies from the 1910’s-1950’s
I'll be here for sure tomorrow to see what other content you have for us. ATB & HH ~Shirl
Thank you! Appreciate your support Shirl!
I have a 1965 uncirculated quarter that has a misprint on the back where it says E pluribus unum, the bus on pluribus is flat and so is the um and the bottom of the s on states and the bottom of the o and f of of . If that makes sense. I'm trying to find out how much it's worth
I'm having a problem with finding something to magnify the coins. I have excellent near sight but the optics I've tried so far don't work.
Suggestions?
I have a 1965 silver quarter that is missing the side band, it almost looks like two quarters stuck to each other but it's not, it's one single 1965 quarter but the side where the ridges are supposed to be there are two smooth edges, from someone that i spoke to that knows about coins said this is very rare and valuable but didnt wanna give me an approximate worth but said the last one like that sold for around 7k but that was like ten years ago, does anybody have some insight into this coin??
I have a 1965 quarter that has 3 or 4 different errors on it. How would I go about having this coin appraised?
I have a 1965 silver quarter struck on a nickel missing the ridged edge, any idea on the value?
Funny enough I have just discovered I have two silver quarters because of this video. Thanks man.
Right on!
@@couchcollectibles out of about 20 1965s I have in my collection all but one weighed 6.25 grams all the others weighed 5.65 grams I hit the jackpot on the silver one its in great shape for coming out of pocket change I'm going guess ms66 or higher going find out soon . keep up the good work ttyl.
@Alyas Fukename best discovery so far for me as a collector.
@@kylelafavre6494 did you ever sell it?
Just found a 1965 coin, it is common that the back side are opposite of the view infront?
Hey I was going through a lot of my old change an I found a 1965 quarter that looks like it has been pressed 2 times on both side can I send u a picture
Thumbnail made me think I watched the video already.
Man 1 like
Sir I have this coin quater dollar 1965
Still looking for 1965 ddo & ddr earing and indented line across reverse thru eagle's wing
So I have a 65' qtr with like halo ring partial struck like ring? Along the perimeter of the face side only. Starts above "in God we trust" to the L starts again after the Y and goes to the pony tail of George's head and from the 1 to under the "trust" seeing if this error is worth anything. Im a novice collector just seeing if you're familiar with what I'm describing.
My 1965 american quarter weighs in INBETWEEN 5.6 grams and 6.2 grams. my quarter weighs in at 5.8/5.9 and some people have said it's because the silver would have been rubbed off and that there isn't really a way for the nickel quarters to end up weighing MORE than their 5.6 gram weight especially if it's been handled and dulled looking like mine.
I just realized I 100% have a 1965 silver quarter I'm hyped. I've collected since I was 16. I have no.clue what to do
How much is it worth?
I have a silver 65 and a few others.Whats a good sit to sell them?
Where can you sell them?
I have a couple of 65 quarters in high grade, but l found a really nice error on a 65 quarter. The word in on the coin looks just like a W. Is there hat an original error?
I have been looking at the 1965s I have and I'm going to weigh a few of them cause the edges of some of my coins are so defined and haven't blended like most clad coin sides do. How the get rounded and don't have the lined reeds anymore but some of my 65s still have them but it could also be their condition as I have some great condition 65s so that also could be reason the edges look so good. Who knows only way to find out is more research and taking them to the scale
Great information as always! Oh..and nice shirt! #ibuycoins
Thanks Sylvia!
Hey i just found one at a laundry matt
I just found one. Almost spent it and saw the 1965. Then watched your video and double checked it. The lettering is definitely too close to the edge in comparison to a 1980 quarter I checked it against. You think I should get it graded?
dam it im sure i had some of these quators i used them on a vending machine BIG RIP :(
What do I do if I have a 1965 that’s 6.25g that’s silver… I think I found one a few years back and didn’t think anything of it and now I’m taking a second look
I have a 1965 quarter and It’s in really nice shape, it does not have any mistakes it is Just in remarkable shape , Does that mean It can be valuable ?
Very educational.
Thanks for watching!
Hey, my quarter is copper/bronze on the sides but has no ridges so I'm asking if that's rare or just normal and am I being stupid?
Good video got to take a look later
What if my 1965 quarter weight Is 6.25 grams but the quarter is pretty beat up . What to do
NICE VIDEO! GREAT INFO!!! THANKS!
Thanks!
YOU WELCOME !
Thanks.
So quick question. I have 2 quarters I have a 1985 quarter which is missing ES OF on States Of. Then a 1965 quarter that has copper on the inside but seems to be plated on both sides with silver. These are 2 I haven't seen online nor in your videos. So have you seen any of these?
Great video. Loved all of them, especially that five cent planchette quarter.
Thanks!

Just found a1965 quarter. It's in very good condition
I have a error coin 1965 quarter no mint, my "in" in the "in God we trust" is merged together and the same with the "United" on the back the IT in United are attached.... Anyone know value
I have one two' my tip to you is to sell it on Ebay for a reasonable price of 50 dollars or take it to an expert of coins so he can tell you how much its worth.
People are trying to get real crazy money for 65 quarters on Etsy because they have no mint stamp. But here, that isn't even discussed.
Good to know
So I have the one that was only 5g nice condition 1965 one. What do I do next?
What if the eagle is upside down compared to the head on the face side? I have a 1965 that is high grade and very unique.
Just got a 1965 quarter in really good condition
Great dtailed video Justin ! I am new to the Channel . I have same coin scale you have, I do have a 1965 Quarter weights 5.7 would that be ok comparing to 5.67 grams you just mentioned on the video ?
Also this scale only shows either 5.6 or 5.7 not 5.67 or 5.71 , is it okay like that ? thanks in advance !!!
Did you ever find the answer for your 5.7 quarter?
Hey how to sold them. I have a last one with me
I noticed the very first quarter you showed says it was cleaned. Had it not been cleaned, who knows how much more $$ it'd be worth? I think this is important to note. Cleaned prices vs uncleaned prices can have HUGE spreads. So don't clean your coins, folks!
When I was at walmart yesterday and found a 1965 quarter so I got a scale and apparently this quarter is worth about 7050
I am having a fantastic day! Another fantastic video
Great to hear!
i have the coun

How do I sell them or get a value on them? Is this only on auction prizes?
Hey Justin the 1965 quarters that arent silver were magnetic?

Hi I have a 1965 quarter dollar how can I sell this? thank you
I have a 1965 quarter no mint mark and it's been struck twice all kinds of errors
I have this coin and more
Ok, so I'm new at this. I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I'm going to ask anyway 😅.
Is there a difference between a food scale and a coin scale? I weighed the SAME nickel about 10 times and the weight was different every time I put it down. Either 4, 5 or 6 grams. Same with the SAME quarter, either 5, 6 or 7 grams.
