Likely a cheap zoom h4n digital recorder or equivalent. Then uploaded properly. I sounds OK but nothing earth shattering. It hard to do 3m in the room recording due to room interaction. Best to close mic the subject out of doors.
A pleasant, but uninspiring presentation, imo. I doubt the culprit is so much in the speakers as in the amp. I'd say swap in the Michi X5 integrated and try it again!
@@marct9587 you do realise all audio on CZcams is compressed so even when listening through an proper audio system your never going to hear this system (or any other) at its best.

And it's not about hearing systems at their best on YT; it's about trying out a different amp on the same speakers and at matched volume level. SF speakers are known to respond favorably to big power. What would it hurt to try a different amp, recorded the same way and seeing if there's a difference that can be picked up on YT?
This rig seems to be very mediocre compared to your other combos. I don't know if it's the amp or speakers. Not enough impact or detail and the Accuphase and SF speakers look dated. ....Hey, with all the great videos you make....you're allowed to have a stinker occasionally. It's almost as if this combination lacks synergy. On a brighter note....You make the best sounding Demo's on you tube. Keep up the good work !

@@gdwlaw5549 Ha Ha ...I'm far from wealthy with all mid fi equip...not equipment in this price range..I just think there is better sounding equip. out there and the speaker cabinet style is really dated lookin'. Not for me and it has nothin' to do with $.
@Jazzer2349 GFY. I have more high end equipment than you will ever dream of owning. HE systems mandate a separate preamp and Amp. Receivers are for you kiddies. This system sounds bland and muffled.

Those are DAAD's... They can diffuse and absorb. We use them as well.

This is a feature of Accuphase amplifiers, they are all like that.

Plain sounding system. But what do you expect when using an integrated Amp. Accuphase needs to learn from the Chinese.
Some integrated amplifiers can sound wonderful in my opinion, including some Chinese made integrated amps like the Kinki Studio EX-M1+.
