Why aren’t pharmacists involved with the dispensing of cannabis since it’s a controlled substance
well it might be now.....with Schedule 1 there is "no medical use"
The Florida state system, as with all other states, set up programs that do not involve pharmacists. There may come a time when that happens, and It will be interesting to see how this all pans out over time. Just because something is a controlled substance, doesn't mean pharmacies dispense them. For example, cocaine and methamphetamines aren't (typically) dispensed at pharmacies. Thanks for watching and engaging!
