I get lost in a loop and panic and switch voice over off and return to struggling with what bit of vision I have.
My best suggestion would be to firstly, calm down, secondly, don’t try to look at the screen, and just listen to what it’s telling you
It would be nice to know the gesture used to switch between character mode, and Word mode in text fields.
Two finger rotate clockwise or counterclockwise until you hear words or characters.
