- I'm headed to Blake Shelton's Ole Red on Las Vegas BLVD for a meal. The Ole Red is a country bar and restaurant concept with live music playing all the hours of the day. It's a very lively restaurant and has been incredibly busy ever since they opened their doors. I'm excited to check out the food and I hope you are too!

For Vegas prices it should be spectacular. That’s would be why I’d skip. I can get regular food like that at Applebees cheaper back home.

I think Ole Red doesn’t focus on their food, their selling point is the vibe from the live music, the nice rooftop bar with the fountain view, so the cooking is probably inconsistent from shift to shift. That’s the general impression from other Ole Red locations from what I heard.
The vibe of the restaurant is really top notch. The live music really adds a nice touch. I would like to see a few improvements to a few of those recipes though. Thanks for watching!

Mon Ami Gabi has a great views of the fountains their food is absolutely top notch

Thankfully, an objective and honest reviewer who isn't afraid to tell it like it is! Of course each of us has their own opinion, but when remarking about the food, service etc, it's so much easier to trust your reviews. Thank you. You should have a LOT more subs! I was actually watching a relatively popular restaurant review channel where they literally admitted they been been compt!
I wouldn't say I'm a picky eater but I'll certainly call it like I taste it. I thought 16k subs after 2 years was a really good number and I'm happy with the growth of the channel but I do appreciate the sentiment! I've had some desserts and sodas comped in prior videos, and 1 full video that was comped but I'll always disclose that's the case. But honestly, my opinion can't be bought. Even if the meal was comped, I'll still call it like I taste it. Thanks for watching!

I went to the Ole Red in Nashville. It was great!
But, looks like this one is, “just okay”.
I'm happy to hear that! I wish I got to try some more of their popular items. I didn't get to try any of their seafood, and while the pulled pork was there, I'm more of a brisket person so not being able to try that brisket sandwich was saddening. Could also just be first few weeks the kitchen needs to really get into the swing of things and I'm hoping it'll be better in the future. Thanks for watching!

We all like the live review but if the place is just too loud, doesn’t make sense. Voice over works better in those scenarios versus yelling into in the camera.

Spot on review Shin! But the fact that this is a NEW RESTAURANT and they ran out of items tells me already they are poorly managed. And the chef's creations are unique, perhaps a little too unique but some of the prices are exorbitantly expensive. $18 for a street corn salad that has almost no corn? Where's the quality control? This is a gimmick restaurant. Sold by name only.
I certainly hope the restaurant management figures out the proper stock to keep in the kitchen. I think they will with time. Could definitely use some additional QC also. That said, I actually love the vibe of this restaurant and I'll be going back for fries and drinks while listening to the live music. It's a great energy in there. Thanks for watching!

Yes, after reviewing the final product, I can say I'm definitely more of a fan of my original live reaction style but there are some restaurants where it's just not possible and I have to literally yell for my mic to pick up anything and it doesn't make for a good audio experience. Out of line pricing, and I don’t care that it’s on the strip. Maybe if people actually got a back bone and stopped going to these places (while letting the owners know why), they’d do something.

I would be embarrassed if I was Blake Shelton charging those prices for less than stellar appetizers. I doubt if he even knows what is going on. It is sad to see people pay just to say they went to Blake Shelton's bar and restaurant. Customers deserve better when shelling out good money. You have been to way better places Shin, thanks for the review and saving me a trip.
Yeah, I'm not sure how much the celebrities actually have to do with their namesake restaurants but I think the Ole Red could certainly up their food game a bit. That said, I actually love the vibe of this restaurant. The energy inside is great. I'll be returning for some drinks, fries and the music. Thanks for watching!
It's running much more smoothly now. Kitchen is far more consistent, we just needed to actually be open for a few months to get into the swing. One 1000sq ft kitchen pumps out all the food but they're on their A game now and we've made some menu changes 🙏🏻🤟🏻

Those Tavern nachos at Foutain Bleu sure are getting a lot of press. About Ole Red what stood out for me is that the wood blocks used for the sliders and tacos is unsustainable. The wood and its finish just won't hold up to necessary ware washing used in a place with that kind of volume. With the close ups on the tacos it was obvious the taco holders were filthy dirty. This is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos in a while where you weren’t too thrilled. Kinda reminds me of the bad food from Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill!
Yeah, for one, I didn't get to try as many of the dishes that I actually wanted due to them being out of stock. I'd much rather review a mahi mahi taco than a mushroom one and I'd rather be trying some ribs than a corn salad lol. That said, I still think a few of the recipes here could use some tweaks. I will say though that the vibes are awesome at the Ole Red and I'll definitely be returning for some fries and drinks while listening to the live music. I love the energy in there. The Ole Red restaurant in Las Vegas offers a lively atmosphere with fantastic live music, a diverse menu showcasing delicious Southern-inspired dishes, and friendly staff providing excellent service. It's going to be a longer wait during peak hours to get in or getting your food at Ole Red. The quality of the food is really not that great. It feels like you're eating food from Denny's or IHOP.

I can promise you that was because of Shin then they read the comments down below and were like, yeah we screwed that one up. 21$ for 6 Tostito bag Chips I remember it vividly. I roasted them down below on that especially for the price. It was literally a money grab by the restaurant and I called them out for it.

As always, an excellent and honest review by Shin, who is my favorite reviewer of Vegas eats. The one burger that interests me, altho it's super expensive, is the Hell Right Prime Burger. At $30, which is an insane price for a burger, it nonetheless sparks my curiosity based on the ingredients.

Prime meat for burgers is a marketing gimmick. Makes sense for steak but for burgers you grind and add the fat content necessary.

The tots did look like a longer shred on the potatoes than a typical tot, so I get why you labeled them hashbrown tots. The Club sandwich looked comforting and simple but tasty. Some creamy mayo would be a nice addition!

I appreciate ordering a bunch of dishes in the review because you could eat one bad dish and that could stop people from going. But a bunch of separate plates helps people with picking out dishes and not hurt the business

Another great video. We look forward to Saturday & Tuesday! Looks like a fun place. We did like the voice over in this instance where the restaurant was so noisy. Based on the food review we think this would be a place we'd go to more for the entertainment than the food.

I think personally I like my original style of video more so I'll probably just be sticking to voice overs when the restaurant is so loud I need to shout for my mic to pick up my voice. It's only their 2nd week of being open and they have a line out the door every night so I'm guessing they're still figuring out how much to stock the kitchen but it was very unfortunate for this video. Thank you for another honest review. The food seems to be a let down. You did not seem overly excited about any bite.
It was two fold. One, they were missing so many items I wanted to try. They were 100% out of all seafood for the evening and the ribs and brisket were also 86'd. So I was already trying foods like black bean sliders and mushroom tacos which wouldn't have been my first choice. That said, some of the recipes I did try could definitely use some tweaks in my book. Thanks for watching!

I’ll be going to Las Vegas in August to party and chill And I’ll be there for the weekend and it will be my first time in Vegas as a Adult but I have been to Vegas as a kid back in the day
