    If you think you may have been exposed to HIV and want to lower your chances of getting the virus, you can take something called PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) - a series of pills you can take within 72 hours (or 3 days) after you've been exposed to HIV. The sooner you start, the better it works - every hour matters.

    I knew of morning after medication to prevent pregnancy for females.....but never heard of this early intervention medication for possible HIV exposure....until now. Excellent! ❤
