Dude I had my horse the whole game and when I got to the end of the game (trying to stay away from spoils, if you beat the game u know what I’m talking about) I literally cried for an hour straight.
Everybody wanted to play John at first. Then we all fell in love with Arthur & it didn't feel right playing as John after. Kinda screwed up😕 Arthur was an awesome character & really hard to say goodbye to
I saw a duel in Valentine, the winner challenged me because I was watching. He started walking away as I got off the horse. I approached him as he walked towards his camp on the southern side of town. When I antagonized him he turned around and pulled his gun, I was so close at that point that as he started to shoot I was able to pistol whip him and shot him in the head point blank. The sheriff showed up, I apologized and he let me leave without a bounty. Lol. Wonderful game! Lol.
I know. I got so hooked on the story and ignored everything else, which was a huge mistake as the story was a pretty big letdown. Anyway my second playthrough was much more enjoyable.
Quantum Leap really? I thought the ending was amazing, I mean I kinda guessed something bad would happen in the end. A story of criminals can almost never end happy
As much as I like John, I can’t help but miss playing as Arthur. John’s interactions with strangers just don’t feel the same as they did with Arthur. Besides the fact that I just enjoyed the sound of Arthur’s voice, I loved how transparent and mature Arthur was. His interactions, especially with strangers, made it clear that he could care less about what others thought of him. Even though his values may have changed, he always acted according to what he believed was right at the time. He was his own man, and everything he said and did reflected that. The only person who was able to change Arthur’s values was Arthur himself. Not even his almost-wife could change who he was. He was completely detached from the common views and beliefs of society, and this made him such a simple yet complex character.
the sad reality of this game is in fact that you cannot do much after you finish it cause it has almost nothing of post campaign content, sure you have the stranger missions but they all are collectathons and treasure hunting with no story within them whatsoever, GTA V had this issue too and fucking sucks Rockstar should change its formula a little bit, even ac origins had twice as post game content and its only 45 gigs, you’d think this game would because it’s 105 Gigs but it has no replay value
You know this guy doesn't really care he is only farming money. He has a ton of viewers and only posts videos just barely over 10 min so he gets the commercial money and he does a ton of short videos instead of long ones to make more money. That's all.
i got to 90 percent with arthur did everything got all the legendary animals and fishes outside of new austin did every stranger mission saw the robot the ghost and the vampire killed that gay guy in the bayou before he could rape arthur got the legends of the east satchel got the wrangler night wrangler bounty hunter and deathroll outfit only thing i really didn't do was the challanges and the annoying stranger missions like the herb collecting one or rock carving or dino bones
I wish I could see Arthur one last time after I have had completed the main story. I miss him so much.. will always be etched in my memory as one of my favorite game characters of all time.
Finishing this game left a massive void in my life. I became so immersed within the RDR2 world, which is a credit to R* for making a game that does that. Installing it again to replay and like many others, will not progress past Chapter 4. Long Live A!
GUYS, trying to keep spoilers to a minimal but i would HIGHLY recommend to make a separate save BEFORE you rob the bank in Saint Denis. The story and certain gameplay elements shift considerably from that point forward. So make that separate save and use that as a “free roam end game” after you finish the entire game and epilogue. Because I’m sure you’ve heard by now but you do not play as Arthur anymore at the end of it all so if you wish to continue exploring with him make sure you save.
Jessica Berry you get to free roam at the end of the game and yes. Most of the epilogue takes place in the blackwater region and your new “camp” is outside the city

K and JJ Arthur’s default clothing is the best and was crafted to convey the intended personality of the character. Some people wear all black, or dress super fancy, which is great, but not the way Arthur Morgan would have dressed.

It's a shame they didn't offer a "New Beginning" timeline so you can continue with Arthur. I felt worse losing him then I did Commander Shepard from Mass Effect.
All i do is go from town to town play poker or black jack , eat at the saloon, rent hotels rooms , rob every store, and after a long trip on the road, i go home and antagonize my family at the dinner table, by the way if you go to bed at around 9 or ten pm at the ranch, there will be a cutscene with you kissing Abigail goodnight, so far Ive had 2 different cut scenes.Just make sure she's in bed. Then i wake them up extra early and they get mad. lol
Why we do this after the main story? I don't see the relevance of this video. I have some thing for you to do that you did not mention. Go inside the train tunnels up in the mountains, there is some interesting graffiti on the walls, its dark so equip your electric lantern.....normal lantern is not strong enough to highlight them. I never understood the relevance of the electric lantern....after I got it from the robot side quest, but now I know. I won't give further spoilers, but do the robot side quest and get the lantern. You will see some stuff in dark places you never could see before.
How exactly is the legendary bear tough? I shot him in the face twice with a pump shotgun on the mission with Hosea and it was a wrap and that's like chapter 2 lol
That bear almost killed the crap out of me! I shot it & after it mauled me I stabbed it. Finally I killed it on that same mission. Standing there covered in blood an bruises the bear laying dead at my feet in was victorous.

Did any you guys realize that there are 4 totally new Buildings after the Epilogue?! 1 close to Wallace Station, 1 close to Valentine( the one you can help build as Arthur) and 1 close to Emerald Ranch and the last one is close to strawberry. If not check em out. You‘ll find them easily on the map since they have a different map structure just like the Pronghorn Ranch...
I'm on the edge of Arthur dying (my last mission is Dutch Van der Linde's) and I don't want to continue furthermore. I just want to play as the good cowboy Arthur Morgan. Enjoy accompanying him as much as I can. I don't want him to die. :')
for the strange statues room thing, there's actually a painting by the window rocks with a diagram of the statues and next to each, little eagle paintings, each with a different number of tail feathers. the number of tail feathers correlates to the number of fingers the statues have, so those are the ones you push.
My friend told me about the white Arabian horse you can find before I even bought the game. I instantly got her as soon as I could. played with her throughout the whole game. I cried. I miss her. RIP Beanweiser. :'(
I know one thing for sure: I would LOVE to see a John World open world game telling his origin story and as vivid and as complete as RDR2. I reckon Rockstar has all that it takes to make such masterpiece, and I'd personally rather that than another generic GTA.
Even tough it doesn’t feel right playing as John, I still feel Arthur’s energy in the game. Which makes it easier and live my life in a different and relaxed world. It kinda feels nice
I’ve found the treasure hunts, interactions and side missions to be more fun than the game itself. I’ve been doing those and, they’re nearly finished though I’m not done with the game.
If you done the side missions for Charlotte (I think her name was) at the top right of the map, you can go visit her as John and tell her that Arthur died (she also let's you take whatever you want from her home)
Quick side note: bounty hunting IS TOTALLY worth it. Usually it’s not hard and the game pretty much inadvertently holds ur hand. U get a decent amount of money and it’s funny to beat people up
I've got well over 500 hours playing chapter two, and have all the avilable gold bars (22) the gold ingot and four gold nuggets. I've maxed out everything there is to do without having to spend one dime. I'm about to start chapter four, and looking forward to doing everything there is available, regardless of how long it may take, agian, without spending one dime. My plan is to finish the game with the absolute max gold and cash one can. As well as all Easter eggs. Then and only then will I start the online version, assuming it's still up and running.
The 1st time I played I was a bad outlaw now I am a good outlaw. When I was done I hunted legendary animals and fish. I did the stranger missions. I even did the bounty hunting. I even did the gunslinger missions.
I’ve finished the story and epilogue and now I’m going for 100% total completion so I have to do all challenges find all exotics and kill all legendary animals and fish ect... love the game so much finished the story in around 7 days or so
" I want to be as spoilerless as possible" plays as someone who isn't Arthur quite obviously and also lets you know characters will definantly die after chapter one
I got the best horse in the game (that white one im dumb i can't remember) and named it Hosea because Arthur actually likes Hosea more and Hosea is my favourite side character and lets just say that i cried at the ending
I used the many spotted Appaloosa horse since around the middle of chapter 3 and bought a new one immediately when i could, now im rocking a white arabian in the cowboy outfit
I don't know why but after i finished the game the interaction with strangers(saving them, killing and so it goes) are lesser, aside from the blide man and the murfees i haven't encountered enyone again.... my honor is '' normal"
It came a point in the game when I was just HUNGRY for money, and it fit perfectly when I was in St. Denis and Arthur's "girl" was like run away with her. I was on Arthur side 100%, we need money first lol. This game does a good job with making u feel like u gotta get that money 😂🤣, it really does. (Except when u get to the end)
That first one with the ufo and the dead people is a nod to “Heavens Gate” (a cult that committed suicide to go to a ufo in space; and they also had blankets over them too/laying on their backs too)

Achilles 1996 that’s what I thought happened as well but you should actually still have them, it’s just that they only show up at certain times of the Day is what I’ve gathered. For instance I thought for sure I had lost the side mission to go visit henri lemioux the saint denis mayor at his mansion at night time once I beat the game but sure enough it still shows up on my map, but only for a short time when it’s night time in the game
I was halfway thru chapter 6 when i had the thought that arthur would die and i would end up playing as someone else before the story was over and sure enough it happened. I was so mad Arthur didnt finish out the story but it was a great game overall
I actually extremely enjoy playing the part of outlaw in Lemoyne. It was totally natural. The cops were trying to arrest a black woman for apparently no reason. Got a $40 bounty and freed the woman then more came and it became $70 and my horse was no where to be seen. Only got bigger from there. no regrets lol
I just started playing RDR2. Like just started. New game for me. That Legendary Bear wasn't tough. With a little cheese, I beat it with Auther and his starting rifle.
I knew arthur was going to die but when micah stabbed me in the back i just felt so dirty. In the epilogue when i finally came back across micah and dutch i failed the mission like 10 time just to keep shooting em with my sawed off 😂😂
I love stopping the game right before the last mission in chapter 2, horseshoe overlook is my favorite camp so I just hangout there with Arthur and the raven black shire
John purchased land, had some of the gang help him build it, why didn't it let you keep Charles there with uncle and also Sadie, she could of stayed too, you could bump into some old gang members while roaming why didn't he move them on to the property, it could of worked out a good system Pearson opened his own shop in Rhodes he could of joined in kept cooking for the gang, John could of gone and recruited more muscle and built up his own gang and go around attacking all other gangs the o'driscolls, lemoyne raiders and so on and so forth, John could of built up an army and took over the whole territory wiping out all other gangs, destroying their camps and hide outs. That should be the optional ending for rdr2.....

After you finish the game you get 20k so why do you need to go to tunnels to get a few bars
Because it's easily spent, say your horse dies that's another $1000, playing poker, buying all the weapons, i've got around $12000 left over.

Did any you guys realize that there are 4 totally new Buildings after the Epilogue?! 1 close to Wallace Station, 1 close to Valentine( the one you can help build as Arthur) and 1 close to Emerald Ranch and the last one is close to strawberry.
If not check em out. You‘ll find them easily on the map since they have a different map structure just like the Pronghorn Ranch...
I avoided that last missions that had Micahs name on it, so I started wondering around the map cause I couldn't let arthur go

for the strange statues room thing, there's actually a painting by the window rocks with a diagram of the statues and next to each, little eagle paintings, each with a different number of tail feathers. the number of tail feathers correlates to the number of fingers the statues have, so those are the ones you push.
My friend told me about the white Arabian horse you can find before I even bought the game. I instantly got her as soon as I could. played with her throughout the whole game. I cried. I miss her. RIP Beanweiser. :'(
I know one thing for sure: I would LOVE to see a John World open world game telling his origin story and as vivid and as complete as RDR2. I reckon Rockstar has all that it takes to make such masterpiece, and I'd personally rather that than another generic GTA.

Even tough it doesn’t feel right playing as John, I still feel Arthur’s energy in the game. Which makes it easier and live my life in a different and relaxed world.

After the main story ends it's not much fun coz there is no Arthur Morgan.. Marston is ok but cannot match Morgan as a protagonist

Yaeh plus Arthur helped john to have a good life so I cant bring myself to cause chaos.
I’ve found the treasure hunts, interactions and side missions to be more fun than the game itself. I’ve been doing those and, they’re nearly finished though I’m not done with the game.
I’ll literally sit around the saloons in Valentine or Saint Denis and play poker for hours (not in-game hours, real life hours 😂).
If you done the side missions for Charlotte (I think her name was) at the top right of the map, you can go visit her as John and tell her that Arthur died (she also let's you take whatever you want from her home)
Even though TB was incurable during this time period, I was so sure that they would bring Arthur back in the end if you had good honour. SO SAD.
Quick side note: bounty hunting IS TOTALLY worth it. Usually it’s not hard and the game pretty much inadvertently holds ur hand. U get a decent amount of money and it’s funny to beat people up
I've got well over 500 hours playing chapter two, and have all the avilable gold bars (22) the gold ingot and four gold nuggets. I've maxed out everything there is to do without having to spend one dime. I'm about to start chapter four, and looking forward to doing everything there is available, regardless of how long it may take, agian, without spending one dime. My plan is to finish the game with the absolute max gold and cash one can. As well as all Easter eggs. Then and only then will I start the online version, assuming it's still up and running.

The 1st time I played I was a bad outlaw now I am a good outlaw. When I was done I hunted legendary animals and fish. I did the stranger missions. I even did the bounty hunting. I even did the gunslinger missions.

I’ve finished the story and epilogue and now I’m going for 100% total completion so I have to do all challenges find all exotics and kill all legendary animals and fish ect... love the game so much finished the story in around 7 days or so

I got the best horse in the game (that white one im dumb i can't remember) and named it Hosea because Arthur actually likes Hosea more and Hosea is my favourite side character and lets just say that i cried at the ending

I used the many spotted Appaloosa horse since around the middle of chapter 3 and bought a new one immediately when i could, now im rocking a white arabian in the cowboy outfit

I don't know why but after i finished the game the interaction with strangers(saving them, killing and so it goes) are lesser, aside from the blide man and the murfees i haven't encountered enyone again.... my honor is '' normal"
The legendary bear is pretty easy the only thing you have to do is keep your distance and keep shooting it (also make sure to use your dead eye)
It came a point in the game when I was just HUNGRY for money, and it fit perfectly when I was in St. Denis and Arthur's "girl" was like run away with her. I was on Arthur side 100%, we need money first lol.
This game does a good job with making u feel like u gotta get that money 😂🤣, it really does. (Except when u get to the end)

Achilles 1996 that’s what I thought happened as well but you should actually still have them, it’s just that they only show up at certain times of the Day is what I’ve gathered. For instance I thought for sure I had lost the side mission to go visit henri lemioux the saint denis mayor at his mansion at night time once I beat the game but sure enough it still shows up on my map, but only for a short time when it’s night time in the game
ALSO I think you have to have Arthur’s satchel equipped

I was halfway thru chapter 6 when i had the thought that arthur would die and i would end up playing as someone else before the story was over and sure enough it happened. I was so mad Arthur didnt finish out the story but it was a great game overall

I actually extremely enjoy playing the part of outlaw in Lemoyne. It was totally natural. The cops were trying to arrest a black woman for apparently no reason. Got a $40 bounty and freed the woman then more came and it became $70 and my horse was no where to be seen. Only got bigger from there. no regrets lol

That Legendary Bear wasn't tough. With a little cheese, I beat it with Auther and his starting rifle.
When the doc said to arthur you got tuberculosis.. it was like he said it to me, my heart dropped. Thats when I knew that arthur was gonna die.
I knew arthur was going to die but when micah stabbed me in the back i just felt so dirty. In the epilogue when i finally came back across micah and dutch i failed the mission like 10 time just to keep shooting em with my sawed off 😂😂

John purchased land, had some of the gang help him build it, why didn't it let you keep Charles there with uncle and also Sadie, she could of stayed too, you could bump into some old gang members while roaming why didn't he move them on to the property, it could of worked out a good system Pearson opened his own shop in Rhodes he could of joined in kept cooking for the gang, John could of gone and recruited more muscle and built up his own gang and go around attacking all other gangs the o'driscolls, lemoyne raiders and so on and so forth, John could of built up an army and took over the whole territory wiping out all other gangs, destroying their camps and hide outs. That should be the optional ending for rdr2.....
It had to lead to red dead redemption, and thats why sadie and charles leave and uncle stays
The deluxe bath really SHOULD have a "happy ending", I mean , Arthur never gets any action.
