10:00 BRAH! I mentioned this on a previous comment, YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE (that I know of at least), who was talking about Nikon getting into the cinema game way before anyone.

I remember when they dropped the little arrow icon that had everyone speculating, it was around the time that I had a videographer for the first time. He uses a RED Komodo. I said “please please please Nikon drop a Cine box style camera like that with a Z mount so I don’t have to buy new lenses”
The only reason I didn’t buy a Komodo already was because I’m not running 2 mounts but I was SUPER impressed with the output of that damned Komodo.
Nikon, listen, i did back then, and I still do have $6,000 for you. My CZcams channel will buy it right now.

Awesome podcast. I watched some other photography channels once in a while and saw that they talked about Nikon bought Red but why didn't the other Camera companies buy Red? I thought to myself that Red wanted a really good company to buy them then both will become a greater company in the market. Great video.

You always bring breaking news and great insight 👏 👏 👏 Been watching Nikon for a while, I’ll be migrating soon to their ecosystem. One thing that I don’t get is why most of the influencers call it a potato 🥔 The Z9 / Z8 is Epic.. Full Frame 8K 60P RAW come on.

@@russellwright9961 Wow.. it’s happening more and more now. The Z9 & Z8 can’t be denied anymore too.. much sauce. I’ll be migrating from Panasonic S1H which is a great camera, but I’ve been waiting for their refresh for too long & most likely the new S1H will not have RAW capabilities. Nikon fits the bill and now they own RED which is the icing on the cake for me.

Another lame firmware update I highly doubt there will be a 2.0 for the z6ii/z7ii nikon has moved on from those cameras even with dual proccessers can't seem to even get close to the speed of the Sony a73 and r6 which is a shame come on nikon hire some people who know how to improve the algorithms Maybe the expped 6 is massively inferior to the cannons and sony processors in that case no update will improve those cameras they are what they are
