This is the info I was looking for. My trucks motor needed a whole bottom end replacement so I decided to make a 408 stroker since I found a forged 4 inch stroke crank locally. Was looking at the 6.125 rods with the summit pistons for the stroker because they're by far the best pricing I've found for them. Now I can feel better about ordering them. Thank you

I'm glad it helped. I bought them without knowing but the Arlington store is only a 30 minute drive away and I could return them.

I assembled a stock bore and uncut deck lm7 type from a 4.8 pullout using k1 forged crank for 5.3 (Didn't want to go high on stroke to preserve the walls and the pistons and also maintain as much material on top of piston), used maxspeedingrods h-beams with a 6.25 SBC length, and summit pro pistons I believe 1800-3780. Had it all balanced for like 250. Ported 862s and twin china 76s at 29lbs on pump 85 shifting at 8200 rpm. The summit stuff is good enough for me and the car makes over 200 HP per liter. Entire engine was under 2k total. I did blow out a head gasket and torch a hole through one of the heads when the head lifted/warped. I've since been using fire ring gaskets on stock 61cc chamber heads.

Yup most of the Summit stuff are great quality parts. None of it made by Summit, just food brands in Summit boxes,

Thanks for the vid. The summit assemblies are pretty attractive for a low cost upgrade it seems. Plus they have them laid out in a way thats perfect for picking what you want on summits site. Wish all the manufacturers assemblies were described thay way.

How are these? Was considering the summit pro ls setup for a 5.3. I thought the rods were made by k1 for those

I haven't installed the engine yet so no feedback. The H beam rods are made by K1, the I beam that I used are made by Scat. Both are good parts manufacturers. I did a lot of price comparison and couldn't find better pricing.
