But I am so happy that you got what BTS fans have been raging about for years. KPOP is just Korean music and performance and comes in so many genres. However there has been a deliberate push by several outlets to paint Kpop as something weird and "out there". People think we overreact but this is a common micro-agression used towards foreigners and especially Asian foreigners. I am so sick of it because most of the people with something negative to say have never taken 5 mins to see them as humans, instead they would rather believe stereotypes.
When you said "long" i got scared, but it's not so long.

But that's not accurate. Kpop is idol music. It's not ALL genres in Korea. There is Korean hip- hop and other music that is NOT kpop

I'm really glad you watched this! I think people are hesitant to call themselves army sometimes just because they are just new, or sometimes because there is a stigma with fandoms and they think you have to go hardcore or something but there a varying levels of an army anywhere from those who just like their music and dancing to those that know all about the group and their history etc. I think most refer to those fans as "veteran army" and most new fans call themselves "baby army". Though I think "mini army" is a cute name and I think you can refer to yourself however you like.
I hope you don't burn yourself out trying to react to too much. There is a lot of BTS content out there and some reactors feel overwhelmed by so many requesting so much. They just do too much to appease everyone but end up being overwhelmed and bombarded by people in the comments. I hope you don't feel too pressured by anything, it should be a fun experience that you actually enjoy and want to do. Pacing things is good and I always recommend if your feeling unsure of what to react to next because you have so many things recommended voting polls in your community tab can be helpful sometimes. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on kpop, there is an unfortunate stereotyping or trying to fit it into one small box when it can be so many different things and genres of music. I think Shawn Stockman from Boys II Men's interview talking about BTS said a lot of great things and he posted a few things on his instagram page. Is very i would say ..like going with them in every story ..watching them rise from nothing to what they are now..People still dont respect them..But as fan for five years and i speak two language ,adding BTS ,i understand why they cry when you listen thousand of people just singing your native tongue ..Is something beautiful,and you add the positive lyrics when the world right know is in a very dark place ..How you cant ignored or just hated them simple because they still humbled and keep there identities .. I was one of those 60,00 at Wembley day 2, and omfg it’s just as emotional as it looks, I remember when we were told that we were going to surprise the boys, everyone absolutely lost their minds. It was AMAZING

My problem with other kpop groups or other artists in general the lyrics it's all the same accept Bts their lyrics is meaningful it's like solving people's problems you will understand me when you react to each album lyrics

Highly recommend you check out their 2019 MMA (melon music awards) performance. It's like 40 minutes long but it feels like you're at their concert and not an award show. It took 3 months to put it together. It's amazing!

Kpop is so annoying sometimes omg. The VMA’s literally made a new kpop category last yeat in order for BTS not being able to compete in the main categories like ‘best album’ or ‘best group’, even though they surpassed all the nominees in sales and everything. Also the fact that all the music coming from Korea is labeled as kpop. RM dropped a new solo album a while ago and it was instantly labeled as ‘kpop’ in all music streaming sites even though the genre was clearly like a slow-rap, hiphop indie kinda thing

Bts had no help when the debut, other artist from big companys have other groups that can helped theme, but Bts was the only group in the company and 1 solo singer. The have a new Boygroup that debut last year TXT, so now the company have 3 artists. And Bts made this poor company to one off the biggest company in Korea
