What we see in our solar system is utter desolation - the moon, Mars, Venus, Io, Europa, Jupiter, Saturn (beautiful in their own ways, but utterly desolate). But Earth is a paradise of paradises. Genesis 1:1 say God created the one-arrow of time, the universe, and a special planet Earth. The Bible says (Psalms) the the heavens/universe declares the GLORY of God. But the Earth declares his handiwork (He has created over 100 billion new species of life on this special Earth). The universe has to be unimaginably BIG/HUGE/ENORMOUS because it indicates God's GLORY (and it is). The Earth and life created on it must be abundant/varied/wonderment-filled because it displays His handiwork. Only Earth is a paradise of paradises in our Solar System. In comparison everythingelse in it is utter desolation.
Even though the Biblical text is over 3,000 years old. It says the universe had a beginning and was created. Science didn't know this until the 1900s as Einstein's General Theory of Relativity came out. The Bible says many times that God spread out the heavens - the universe is expanding/was-expanded. This was discovered in the 1900s by Hubble. These two discoveries meant the universe and Earth had a beginning and a creation. Science changed in 3,000 years to agree with the Bible. 3,000 years ago most societies were worshipping the mountains, forests, the sun, moon, lights in the heavens. But the Bible 3,000 years ago said they had a beginning and were created.
We have fossil evidence from rocks (oldest found so far are from Quebec up to 4.28 billion years old) that oxygen was being produced on Earth in these oldest rocks - iron rust. We have evidence from rock/zircon that Earth's atmosphere was oxidized 4++ billion years ago. Something was producing oxygen and lot's of it 4++ billion years ago. This is evidence of photosynthesis existing 4++ billion years ago. Photosynthesis is the most complicated process (probably) in nature. It is so complicated that scientists after studying it for over 100 years still don't know exactly how it works (although i think they are very close - i've been saying this for the last 5 years now). So here we have fossil evidence for the most complex process in nature existing as soon as life on Earth was possible. Earth 4.2+ billion years ago was still cooling from a molten state. We have evidence for cyanobacteria existing 3.7 billion years ago using photosynthesis to produce oxygen and FOOD from sunlight and CO2. So my guess is that cyanobacteria using photosynthesis existed 4.2+ billion years ago and was producing oxygen and rusting iron and oxidizing Earth's atmosphere. Here is direct evidence for a Creator. As soon as life was possible on planet Earth, photosynthesis existed.

Every person on Earth is essentially bad. The main reason most of us haven't done something seriously wrong is because we've been lucky enough not to get into a situation in which we would be tempted to do that thing. Even still, all of us commit minor wrongs everyday. Think of all the little lies you tell, the ways you manipulate people, the temptations you give into when you know you shouldn't. Most of us are only "moral" because of the selfish benefits we get from doing so. If we could get such benefits or greater without morality many would abandon common moral notions.
So, yes, we quite literally need God to be truly good. This is not to say we can't be good without believing in God, but if we are it's because we are lucky enough to be born with a good nature. The only way to rationally ground a commitment to universal and absolute morality is through theism.

Panick attacks in any church are not uncommon, especially among young highly sensitive girls.
I hope that the Holy Spirit use better ways rather than terror when It comes...
A panic attack could be caused by a perception of being overwhelmed particularly in crowded places. Some churches are also very packed with statues, images, crucifix and smells... and suggested expectations. It's basically more of an overwhelming environment causing discomfort. Even basic psychology can explain this now.
You may be very sensitive to energies and I mean low energies, frequencies, noises, smells, too many people around, but these are things that atheists don't take much into consideration, because they are not visible with 5 senses.

They believe in God because He has either showed Himself in a situation or something else! Children will believe in God bc they’re parents might introduce their child to God. But as that child gets older, he begins to understand sin more, and question how, and why sin is a thing. That brings himself to the Bible, where He ultimately finds the answer in Genesis, where Adam and Eve chose to disobey God allowing sin to be in the world forever more. I'm so happy hearing from Atheists. I have honestly been very afraid to admit I am one openly because there are consequences from the supposed "christ loving and behaving" Christians in this world. A Christian boss at work would never give me a promotion, a Christian neighbor or relative would never talk to me or help me if I was in trouble, the Christian church member would hound me until I let myself get baptized. I have stayed quiet because I just want to be treated fairly and left alone.. As I have gotten older, I have cared less and less about all that stuff. If they don't like me because I can't be like they are, I don't care any more because the consequences of truth don't hurt me so much any more. There are Christians that are bad people and Christians that are good people just the same as any other kind of people. It does utterly astound me when I encounter their flawed reasoning even in this day of age with so much information and education available...

There's no need or pressure to "come out" to anyone - not until you are certain you'd be safe telling them. Out of my entire large family, only one person, an agnostic cousin (and her husband), know I'm a deconverted Christian. Relax. And enjoy your mental freedom!

i enjoy hearing the argument about beauty existing without anyone also realizing that beauty is subjective. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" has also been said by the same people.

here are the near death experiences i have heard about.
2 people were in a darkness where some creatures ripped them apart and ate them
2 people were in a bright comforting light and felt that the light was god
3 people were in a beautiful garden
1 person was in a comforting darkness

I'm fairly convinced that I was on the verge of dying at least twice. I have a severe seizure disorder and I've gone through horrible episodes. However, the one experience I can recall was not scary. I remember a vision of two bars, one light blue and one white, the two of them blending and me disappearing inside. What made me think I was dying was that it felt I was dissipating. Then, all of a sudden, I was back, among the living, as people say. I cannot say that it will be the same when I die for real and that it's the same for everybody, but I still think dying is nothing to be afraid of because the fear of no longer existing will be taken away from us. I also think it helps to know that things are settled. My grandmother, 91 years old at that time, seemed to be fighting on her deathbed with every fiber of her body. She should have been long dead, according to the doctors, but on some days, her organs would start to function again, she would ask for food and water -- which the staff no longer wanted to give to her. She eventually died after my father promised her that there would be no fighting in the family over the estate. I think this promise gave her peace and she finally let go.

You are right. Penn Jillette once said: "The question I get asked by religious people all the time is, without God, what’s to stop me from raping all I want? And my answer is: I do rape all I want. And the amount I want is zero. And I do murder all I want, and the amount I want is zero. The fact that these people think that if they didn’t have this person watching over them that they would go on killing, raping rampages is the most self-damning thing I can imagine."

If this god existed why would "he/she/it/whatever" allow an ancient book filled with errors be the guide? And why have a book at all? If he's all knowing and all powerful "He/she/it/whatever" could hold a global service every Sunday for all to listen, surely being all knowing/all powerful, he' could easily communicate with everyone right?
