Purchased the autobrite qr gun. Still waiting for it to come. Had to get a new foam lance that has 1/4 quick connector fitting. Looking forward to using this.
I got the MagicFoam yesterday, OMFG!!! Is the best one I tried so far, says to use 200ml, I put just 50ml and still got a lot of foam, 200ml from a 500ml bottle will be less then 3 washes...
The only annoying drawback for the short trigger gun is that you get wet more easily than with the longer trigger gun. But thank god I don't need to use 2 hands on the longer trigger gun.
I found that when I used magifoam on my ceramic coated golf R that it left a thick oily residue even after rinsing off heavily. I only Used 100ml Magifoam to 500ml water. the residue left behind was so thick that it covered the hydrophobic properties of my golf R and the car was no longer beading it all. It took around 3 or 4 washes after the Magifoam wash to get rid of the residue and I used car pro reset to remove all the residue. It honestly put me off ever using Magifoam again. Has anyone had a similar experience to this? Magifoam is EXTREMELY thick and yes, the Foam stays on your driveway for almost 24hrs!
@Guy nope, I’ve got a Gyeon pure ceramic coating so nothing wrong with the coating. And I’ve used Car Pro Reset (best shampoo for coatings), and it still could not remove the thick Residue left behind by magifoam. Magifoam is so concentrated that it takes almost 2-3 days for to dissipate at the bottom of the driveway!
If the foam is as thick as that it’s doing no good what’s so ever you only want at the most about 3 to 4 % foam you want it to dwell then run off hopefully with the dirt with it
This happened to me. I think your dilution rate wasn't quite right, you left it to dwell just a bit to long or direct sun effected it, maybe a combination of all three. My oily marks went after 3 of 4 washes and a polish.
Quick question guys. The hose i have connected to the gun is really stuck in the quick release. Its not so quick release. Anythin i can spray in/on it to make it easier to pop out?
I've just purchased this foam lance, and using it with a brand new karcher K4, it is spraying/leaking water out the joint karcher connector, will some PTFE tape do the trick and should this be happening straight out the box ?
yeah unfortunately i have no option with the sunlight as I don't have anywhere to go in the shade :) for the dilution ratio i used about 100ml of foam to the rest water, you may want to tweak this for your own needs and also depending on how thick you like your foam !!
After I watched this video I placed order for a qr gun and has arrived the thing is also got the foam bottle and the the foam and but the foam bottle got a karcher attachment to it and I don't know how to take it off in order to attach it to the QR gun
Hi mate, sorry to be a pain but I've also got a K2 pressure washer and I've just bought the autobrite snow foam lance which came with the plastic connector attached. I want to order a small gun like yours how would you attach it to the snow foam lance please? Thanks for your help
So with the snow foam if you have an cannon with the old connection on it there should be a 1/4 inch connection that comes with the short gun which you can put into your old cannon to use with the new short trigger. If not you’ll have to buy a new cannon with a 1/4 inch fitting. Hope this helps
@@tomjackson6592 Hi mate, my Karcher is a new one with the push twist system. I've bought an Autobrite foam lance and it's got the plastic push twist on the end but if I get the small gun like yours, your one doesn't show the black plastic push twist on the autobrite foam lance unless I'm missing something lol Thanks again
I’m sure it will ! If you look on the website you can see a list of fittings which the gun can come with ! Before you order just check your pressure washer fittings compared to the photos on the site just to confirm !
I have a quick release spiggot I think long silver one just pops in and out but it’s broke firing less foam more bubbles I wanted a new Lance anyway so just want to make sure I get the right fitting haha, thanks mate
I currently use a Karcher K2, I bought it new from B and Q for £100 and it gets the job done. It’s quiet and has decent pressure for such a small unit. I would definitely recommend it as a starter. However I would say you should 100% buy the quick release gun as it makes the experience a lot better.
@@tomjackson6592 ah that’s awesome considering how much foam you achieved. Yeah I’ve got a short trigger with the pf22 foam gun, works a treat these small guns 🤙 If you’re looking to spend a tad more when the karcher packs up mate I would definitely recommend directhose.co.uk. I don’t work for them or anything but I’ve been threw a few washers in my time including karcher’s and I know at direct hose you get pro level machine’s for a really good price 👍 really awesome customer service too over the phone. Cheers mate 👌

Never ever use the red Nozzle on your car paint!

Brass couplings over time corrode! Stainless steel are the ones you want
Great review lad 🤙
Are you using the karcher k2 their?

Should just be a twist I believe all the fittings just screw in !

Had you tested the mjjc at the time of making the video. If so which foam lance would you recommend the most
Hi the steel fitting in the foam lance did you fit that or was it all ready fitted cheers
The foam Lance came with everything already attached 👍

Hey guys, the brand new MJJC video is out. Go check it out now !!! czcams.com/video/YgAOqrsFLrY/video.html
Bet that foam was lying on the drive for a while😂😂 good video mate
Honestly mate it’s becoming a problem. I did a neighbours car not so long since and I swear to you the foam was still there 24 hours later 😂
Tom Automotive Jackson 😂😂that is the reason I use Bilt Hamber Auto Foam, it foams a lot less but the cleaning power is the best out there.
@@geoffbullock8280 I’ve never tried any Bilt Hamber products might be something I’ll have to look into
Waaaaaay to thick foam. It has to be runny to make sense otherwise just wasting product.
