  • Bazm e Khas is presenting Three Ragas collection for Hindustani Classical Music lovers.
Bhimpalasi is an audhav - sampurna (consists of 5 notes in Arohana and 7 notes in Avarohana) raga from the Hindustani music tradition. It is one of the most used ragas used in popular music today.
Raga Hamsadhwani is a raga which came from the Carnatic or South Indian system of music. Its flow is that of a simple pentatonic raga.
Gorakh Kalyan is a late-evening raga, which has gained popularity over the last few decades. Its creation is attributed, by some sources, to Sant Gorakhnath, a mystic-musician of the Nath sect with a considerable following in western India.
This baithak was held at the initiative of Ved Gupta as a part of bazm e Khas foundation live concerts.
The idea behind this upload is to preserve this collection of great music for all music lovers and students of Hindustani music.
