They then developed him for 3 seasons and Leon Rose knew his price was about to go up after the OG trade shipped off quickley thats why he signed him to an extension before he even played a single game in his new role.

@@stratus10601 which is revolutionary from a knicks fan's perspective. Our 2 longest tenured GMs in the last 2 decades were Phil Jackson and Isaiah Thomas so competence had basically become a forgotten concept.

Immanuel Quickley blocked me on Twitter X for telling him he was freezing Deuce out because Deuce is better than him a year and a half ago. He wasn’t even getting minutes like that.

The Knicks have one of the best benches in the league. McBride has been a great contributor for them.
This is the season the Knicks have been waiting for.
They didn’t stumble upon him. We drafted him, saw his work ethic, developed him, analyzed his practice data, extended him based off his improvement, then inserted into the rotation after losing depth in the IQ trade. Literally nothing accidental here.

I have always knew this kid was doooogggg, but clearly he wend from garbage minutes and humbly took whatever Thibs gave him, held his head down and waited his turn and now he is shining making it hard for Thibs to keep glued to the bench. I hope they do not trade this kid because he is home grown and cultivated star in the making. Also on a side note I hope the knicks do not try and pursue Embid because or AD because they are the most injury prone big men in the league right now.

The Knicks knew what they were getting. This guy averaged 30 / 10/ 7 with ELITE DEFENSE, it was only a matter of time before his confidence ( with playing time) would come through. The Knicks extended his contract before the OG trade so they knew his value. He’s a Thibs guy, but people fail to realize is Donte and Jalen are gonna have monster games in this series ( along with Deuce and Bojan ) so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
