This channel is so.... mysterious.... Can someone give me some background knowledge? Who's doing this all? How did it start? Who's sponsoring. And most importantly, why is there no music???

I only speculate - I guess this is part of some huge scientific project, not a commercial or media one, so that is why the information is scares and they post so slowly. Most of scientists has to attend many meetings, collaborations to run several projects simultaneously and this project is huge amount of work. I can imagine it is also quite expensive. Yet from time to time I checked it wishing there is some update. Love your works.

Read on your other videos that you used Lumion to render for example Babylon years ago, what do you use for a 3D-Scan like this? And for Photogrammetry like the Medusa Heads you posted on Twitter? Trying to get into modelling, and just trying to get some Information on your process :D

i noticed you already had Hagios Polyeuktos in your older reconstructions of Constantinople (if I spotted it correctly), it looked liked a large, typical basilica

It was a basilica, not very typical though.

@@MH-ms1dg See Bardill's reconstruction. There is no way that substructure could hold a dome.
