I love doilies. They remind me of my Grandmother. She had them ALL OVER her house. Lol. She had them in all shapes, sizes and colors. I love these in your Journal. Whenever I use Lace, sometimes it’s hard to tell what is the front side or the back side. But if you place it in your Journal this way, you get to see both sides. These are so beautiful!!💗💞💗

I find it very difficult to buy doilies in thrift shops here in Ireland (we call them charity shops/discount stores 😕) so difficult I had to buy them through Amazon. I prefer to shop local but not available here unfortunately 😔

I thought ways to use doilies in my junk journal was ho-hum. I am SO glad I watched! I have been accumulating a lot of doilies the last couple of years and while they work with shabby chic I didn't know how to incorporate them into more grungy journals. This idea of creating essentially stained glass windows with doilies in brilliant. Thanks.

I love these pages and will definitely incorporate the ideas in my journal. FYI: The colors for Auburn University in the USA (Auburn, Alabama) are burnt orange and navy blue. Colors for my alma mater, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, are orange and white. I love when orange makes the cut in your projects!

I am trying to learn from your approach to junk journaling-the paint spot on the oval doily would have put me over the edge, but you just rolled with it! Less pressure for perfection (not that I ever obtain it) would make the process more enjoyable! Thanks for the inspiration .
