She’s a very pretty girl and I thought she looked gorgeous in that dress. In particular, I loved how it emphasised her tiny waist - so flattering. I bet she looked stunning on her wedding day.

I can't believe they found a dress for 700 when her budget was 2000. Make sure to pull that one out the next time a bride says "1000 or less."
The princess gown was perfect for a castle.
David must have had a brain fart or something... (Though it would be nice if he would keep it!)
Exactly 💯
Keep the same energy!!
€ 790 is a steal deal 😀
Once a while
Thinking the same lol, when a bride looks for a thousand or less dress they would pull out dresses that is more than the budget. A good joke show
maybe the vail is 1200 HAHAHA
790? That’s so unlike SYTTD UK. She’ll actually have money left over for alterations and accessories.
i know i was surprised too

They seem to have added a line of affordable dresses, after all the complaints they see.
Justin Alexander, in particular, makes some really lovely wedding dresses for a lot less money.
If you want a tastefully over the top dress, but don’t have an over the top budget, look at Randy Fenoli dresses. He makes the glamour look, without the glamour price tag.
This is the cheapest dress I’ve ever seen them put someone in. It’s a Xmas miracle 😆 She looks so beautiful and happy. I hope she had a lovely wedding day 😊

I couldn’t agree more about it.

Right to this this shop put the bride in two dresses way under budget?? I couldn’t believe it haha
Her aunt looks like such a glamorous lady, idk what it is but something about her just screams grace and style.
she was very loving and supportive toward her niece too. she seems like a very sweet lady 🙂
czcams.com/video/yj6lZH7He6k/video.html
Tbh I got such a Jackie Kennedy vibe from her!
RIGHT?!?!
There are a few ladies in my DAR chapter so like her. Classy, yet very understated. I always call it cut of the cloth rather than a flash of the tag. Their class is integral to their nature rather than something put on for airs.
Why is this shop so weird about budgets??? Every time someone has a low budget, they put them in something double what they can afford, and every time they have a big budget, they bring out the cheap dresses! Make it make sense.
(The bride looks lovely, btw!)

Yeah probably for views
I've had 4 babies, kidney stones & sepsis, but all that pain is nothing like the pain I suffered with ulcerative colitis.
I had my bowel removed almost 20 years ago & it gave me back my life.
She looked like Tinkerbell x
I hope you're healthy Now
May God bless you...
I hope you are ok now! All the very best for your future. God's blessings xxx

I completely agree! I had my colectomy 9.5 years ago and carried a set of twins with a stoma. Sadly mine wasnt a cure for me. I now have Crohn’s. I’ve had a lit of ups and downs but biologics have me in remission for the first time in over 10years. And my ostomy has improved my life so much!
I love the last names: her mom’s last name is Allgood and her aunt’s last name is Loveland.
They are undercover fairytale characters having a dream castle wedding 💒 😄
@@MusParvulus I think you might be right
I thought the same. Love their surnames
Omg I have ulcerative colitis too, it's so rare when I find people with the same thing. Hope all is well for katie
my biggest complaint about this show is how often they disregard the actual budget they set. I am very low income and don’t have any family who could help me, so when I set a budget, that IS the cap. When they ask if a 2000 budget can be “stretched” at all, they bring out some that are 3600 but when someone’s budget is Unlimited they get one that’s $1200. I am deeply embarrassed that I cannot afford more. I KNOW they have lower priced gowns that are glorious. I’m so happy to finally see one on this show!
In that case you shouldn’t shop at a place where most dresses start at your budget and go higher in price... there’s cheaper bridal shops for low budget brides.
I've been married twice now and very low income. My dress the first time was 200 and 2nd was under 100 (it was a special occasion dress from the bridal collection from Torrid) i got it on sale originally like 300.
This show is just for views and it drives me nuts. But believe me when I say there are plenty of dresses out there that are lower in price and just as great. No need to spend thousands on a dress. Even if I had the money I would've picked my dresses because they were gorgeous. My first one was a ballgown type dress and 2nd was more fitted and had lace. I'm plus size also and they look amazing 😍
Being low income is nothing to be embarrassed about!
@@FLP90 They doesn't change the fact that it's messed up for them to always go over budget
The thumbnail really caught my eye. I have a stomach bag too.
And also went through so much failed treatment before finally having surgery.
Seeing her be so beautiful Just makes me so happy.
Same here! Failed all meds and this March got my stoma. The treatments can be horrible and the side effects are no joke. I failed all 6 meds (3 biologicals) before they decided to do the bag. Like her, gained weight, was miserable. I hope you are doing well!!
@@krystlem8920 I'm doing way better now. Hope you're doing alright too!
It was really scary and sudden for me to get my stoma.
I knew barely anything about the bags and stuff. Before I knew it I had a life saving operation to get my colon removed in February.
Getting used to the bag and having ileostomy has been difficult but it's slowly working
@@krystlem8920 what is a biological?
@@JodiLeaSnakeQueen it is a medication that suppresses ones immune system. Crohn's Disease is part of an overactive immune system, and by making your immune system suppressed, it's hoped that your body will heal (with or without the aid of other medications as well) The side effects are that I can catch virsus' and bacterial infections more easily, it can cause joint pain, fatigue, etc. So it was pretty scary during 2019- early 2021 to be on one (I stopped in Feb of 2021 due to it not working Anyways Humira was what I was on but I tried two others before that). It's pretty complicated and they do more than that but that's the general idea behind them :)
@@roxy-aloserlesbiangacha I'm glad.to hear! I'm so sorry yours was so sudden! I think that is always harder mentally, when you don't have time to prepare. I always had a premonition that I would end up with one, so when the surgeons finally agreed (after being in emerg for 3 days and almost a week admitted to hospital with a hole in my bowel and bleeding) to do the surgery I was elated and ready. *all the hugs* I'm doing MUCH better than the last 2 years and I can say food again which is wonderful! I haven't had a salad since my first flare in 2018 lol. I was very excited. I have a hernia now and will maybe getting surgery for that so ugh, but overall I'm healthier for it!
As someone with disabilities and chronic illnesses, I can relate to that feeling of having to go shopping after losing confidence that comes with the weight gain that lots of medications cause. This brought tears to my eyes. I'm glad that she found a dress that helped with that and made her feel comfortable.
Im so glad she found someone who supported her through it. My ex left me when my UC got very bad. Not trying to bash him but its beautiful to see that some men stay. Congratulations❤
I have crohns disease and I have been dumped a couple of times cause of it. Stay strong, warrior.💜
My adult daughter (she's in her mid 30s) was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis several years ago & almost died because she had a flare up & the Army hospital wouldn't admit her. Luckily she had a PA that insisted she be admitted & she stayed in the hospital for a week. I had to spend 8 wks with her to help out with her children. I can say that UC can be a debilitating disease & this young bride is handling it really well. She looked beautiful in both dresses actually.
Your daughter was so fortunate to have mama
I cant help noticing how brides in the Uk are spoiled for choice with their venues. It seems that every single one, if they're not having their wedding in some exotic European dream location, are having their wedding in a actual fairytale castle or a stately mansion several centuries old. There seems to be a magnificent heritage venue in every neighbourhood. These brides are so lucky - not every country can provide such amazing range of options.
I mean if youre not from the UK you will obviously only see the good bits
@@EmilyisaMoonhead Agreed, plus the show would pick brides that have more of an interesting venue. But they are lucky that there is castles and interesting buildings close to them. Not as many interesting buildings in Australia hah.
The trend atm is having great views of the landscape/nature, so not much focus on the building.
@@chlorophyllheart none here in the US 😒
My exact thought. I remember a girl that was going to get married in the university chapel and it was a absolute beautiful place.
No you are right. We are spoilt brats when it comes to history. It also comes about that we are not quick to tear down old buildings. We have roads and buildings that goes back to the Romans.
This is so inspiring. My mom had a colostomy many years ago when the techniques for the bag were not as advanced. The whole field has come a long way. I'm so happy this girl is able to have a great life! Best to her!
What a stunning girl! I'm an opera singer, and I've also spent a lot of time in giant princess gowns. Wanting to wear something different on your wedding day makes so much sense! She looks amazing. ✨
Dear Katie,
You are and have always been beautiful. I hope that your wedding day was all you dreamed and that your gorgeous dress helped to kickstart you building your confidence. Congratulations! Ps you look absolutely stunning in the dress❤️
The dress is PERFECT on her. She looks amazing. Much better than the first one. And I think the long veil is a good use of some of the left over budget, it will really add that perfect touch for the castle wedding.
She's so blessed to ably go shopping with both her parents,, this so sweet!
My mom had an ostemy for a couple years, very difficult, what a large adjustment. This girl, she can do it!!! 💖
What a comeback!!! 💖💖💖
My dad had it too, it made him depressed,he stopped going out , ofcourse it was way long back and new bags are much better fitted and disguised
I just got mine in March after failing ALL meds and I'm so happy. I can eat, I can go places without having to worry about washrooms! They definitely have come a long way in comfort and you wouldn't know I have one!
Im so happy for her getting the perfect dress after everything she went through surgically. God bless her.
She is so gorgeous. A literal goddess!!!!
So pretty and the whole family is so supportive. I love the flower necklace she wore into the store!
Off topic but the Aunty’s eyes are mesmerising 😍😍😍
czcams.com/video/yj6lZH7He6k/video.html
Her budget will now cover alterations, veil, shoes and maybe even some jewelry. Well done.
What a beautiful bride she is going to be. Wishing her continued good health.
Her story sounds so familiar and similar to mine. I have had crohns .y entire life. I'm 32 this month and my aunt is like my mom and took care of me.
I have been putting odd my surgery for ever and it might be my last hope. Shes brave and beautiful. Crohns and UC warriors!
Good luck!!! From a fellow crohn's warrior 💜
Yeah its no fun I know what your going through I'm 33 and I've got crohn's my self
I was dx with Crohn's at 21, recommended surgery at 28, put it off until 46. My only regret is not having it sooner! I feel like I live better afer 50. Know everyone is different, but not living with pain and lethargy is amazing. Best wishes.
See....I should but so.ething keeps telling me no. I'm afraid of taking g off work but In the long run it might be better...
I wish all the luck and love to my fellow crohnies and UC babiea!
Babies!
You are not alone
Its an awful disease. She's a doll and hope she will be so very happy. Gorgeous dress!
She looks splendid in that dress 🤍💖🤍
I have Crohns and I think I'm heading to a bag in the near future. This video made me feel better about that possibility.
It's very sweet to see her family all considering how comfortable she feels in it as well as how she looks. I feel like you too often see brides considering the wow-effect of their look much more over how they'll feel wearing it all day at the wedding. A very genuine family
Aww! She has such a special relationship with her Aunt. 🤗
Shout out to everyone with IBD!!! I love how Katie has no shame about showing her bag.
What a sweet bride. She is beautiful inside and out. I hope her wedding day is everything she wants and that she and her new husband have a wonderful life together.
What an amazing positive attitude she has, very inspiring
I have a good friend who has Ulcerative Cholitis - not fun. She almost had to have surgery a few years ago, but was put on an experimental Drug/Probiotic and it worked. Katie - you are a rock star, and the fact that your Hubbie-to-be was by your side during your illness, bodes very well for a long and happy marriage. You look like a million bucks in that gown, and the long veil is perfect for a Castle Wedding. Bless you, your parents and your very sweet Aunt. Cheers.
Love how supportive her aunt is!!!

OMG SHE LOOKS AMAZING!!!!!
Shes absolutely stunnin and humble Prayers and best for her and her wonderful husband 50+ years together
Gorgeous and original take on a princess dress.
Bride looked lovely in the dress.
Bless her, she looks absolutely stunning.
Having to cope daily with an ileostomy bag and be so positive is inspiring.
I have experience looking after someone who has one so I understand it's something you have to plan around if you're going out for any length of time, because they need to be emptied.
I hope she had a magical day, and wish her all the very best.
She is so adorable! I like her Floral neckpiece.

She glows in that dress!!!
The bride is so down to earth, the dress being on the simple side actually brought out her beauty even more!
Just completed my test and saw new video notification of say yes to the dress it is my treat 😅
Love watching it 😍
She us absolutely beautiful! Her face, her skin, her hair, perfect smile, gorgeous figure...stunningly beautiful girl!! Anything will be lovely on her!!
She's adorable. I hope she has the life she deserves now :)
beautiful and lovely bride AND a beautiful and very in-budget dress, great episode !
The super awkward but very sweet dad really gave me the lols. Loved this episode!
She is so beautiful and extremely strong, I so happy for her and her fiancée.

Beautiful dress for a beautiful bride💝💝💝😀😀
I was just diagnosed with UC and I know how this girl feels, I’m so happy for her ❤️
Whenever I watch these, I wonder especially if the American viewers know who David Emanuel is & how he (and then Wife Elizabeth) designed Princess Diana's wedding gown. He is truly an expert, he always knows the best Silhouette for each individual body.
yes this American knows who David is
as does this one!
I did
Yes, Americans (and other nationalities) know who David Emanuel and his former wife are. And it’s also been mentioned on his show that they designed Princess Diana’s wedding dress. That’s why he’s featured on this version of SYTTD and coincidentally why I am replying to you.😁
I am an American and I did NOT know who he was until it was mentioned on one of the episodes.
She looks like a princess!
I can relate with her Aunt have no daughters so adopting her nieces lol. My Aunt did the same thing. Neither mom nor her had any daughter. So mom and dad adopted us three sisters. Auntie also was in foster care but sadly Uncle developed Alzheimer's as a very young age so she had to give it up. She always said we were the daughters she never had.
When my sister was expecting her first baby Auntie and Mom would go back on forth of who was going to be grandma lol. Sadly she passed away from covid before the baby arrived. But to do her honor it was a girl. My sister thought about naming her after Auntie. But she had always said she hated her name (Brenda Kay) and begged us never to do it.
The girl is beyond adorable! She’s so sweet and such a fighter! I hope her wedding was a dream😊😊
As someone who has crohn's disease, I totally sympathize with what she has gone through! I'm so glad she has her happy ending.
1st time watching so cheap dresses,nd they are so beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Bride is looking so pretty😍
WOW, the bride is so pretty and looked phenomenal in her gown!! I have always loved Justin Alexander and she will look amazing wearing the dress in the castle setting 🙏🙏
Oh my gosh that second dress is beautiful
I adore her, she is fun, youthful and articulate. That dress was amazing and so was the price.
She is such a doll! I think the dress is beautiful on her!
She has one of those personalities and smiles that lights up the room. Very pretty.
I've got eosinofilic colitis and it's quite awful, although being so much less than ulcerative colitis. I hope she's good
What a lovely young lady..she looked stunning too.. bless her xx
a warrior bride.
I wish them so much love and luck
Not only is she sweet, gorgeous, and hella strong but she also has the coolest name ever
She's so gorgeous.
I'm the same age with IBS and now bowel cancer too. I have a stoma bag as well. I feel like nobody will be willing to marry me. I don't think I'll ever be wedding dress shopping. But it's nice to see someone else with a bag getting a pretty dress
Awe dont you worry you'll find your perfect someone who will love you no matter what! But there was another lady on SYTTD that also had a bag and she looked so lovely in her dress.
Sending all good wishes and love to you.
She looks absolutely gorgeous in every dress she’s put on!🤗
This episode was FABULOUS!!!! I Cried with her ..she is absolutely gorgeous! 💯

Precious girl. I'm sure she was a vision on her wedding day!!
Oh I want that dress and I'm not even getting married. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL on a stunning stunning bride. ❤️
Ahh she's so precious 💕
The thing I like about your show is that when someone gives you a price you always stick with it. You don't try to push the budget.
She’s so so lovely.
She looks gorgeous in her dress! ❤
Very beautiful dress. Looks so good on her.
