Hermitcraft 10: Episode 14 - MORE ORES! Grian is back on the hermitcraft server, tried to beat scar at his own game! Time to get back to things! #hermitcraft #minecraft
im not sure if its just because scar was low and wasn't wearing that much armour, but the one shot arrow could've been because of the speed he was moving when he shot it
@@LTC033 it is, you have to slowly chip pieces off just to eat it, and you can't finish it in one sitting so it just lays around for days (I'm talking about the big ones)

The awkward pause at 6:14 after two ravages failed to kill him was hilarious and you don’t understand how happy the overly cheerful music at 9:20 with the ravagers dancing and tiny Etho running around makes me
Grian, as a computer scientist, I can say with complete certainty that someone who breaks everything they touch (like you, for example) is the PERFECT bug tester. You are everything a software engineer dreams of. Whether those dreams are actually nightmares depends on the software developer.
As someone that's done robotics QA before, I agree. Although it does highly depend on whether or not Grian is able to break everything he touches in a _deterministic and reproduceable_ way that matters. "Every time I step on this specific piece of diorite in Bdubs' base, Iskall dies from [Intentional Game Design], even in the Overworld" is a good example with well-known trigger conditions, even if the *_then_* part of "if A then B" is unknowable. "Mobs randomly turn Dinnerbone mode when I walk past" is more of a mandelbug that's impossible to nail down a root chain of events for and would cause a software dev to commit [Intentional Game Design] out of frustration.
Etho: "I'm going to have my own mushroom farm." Grian: "Noooo..." Well, Grian can always just spent, like, 2 minutes in Etho's farm and then Canadian Kakashi will have no working mushroom farm anymore.
The contrast is especially, jarringly hilarious when the last season I watched was season 7, where he started a mutiny that escalated into a turf civil war...
The funny thing about this Froggers conversation is I’ve had this conversation IRL like earlier this week. I am young (19) and I’m talking to my fellow friends around the same age if they knew what Frogger was. One person didn’t know of it by name but have heard of it, another person knew it by name, and the third person said “Oh you mean Crossy Road?”. It was absolutely insane
I’m getting flashbacks. Also insert “if I had a nickel for every time Grian and other hermits had a diamond tower competition I would have two nickels which isn’t a lot but weird that it happened twice.”

There are 2 schools of bug fixing: 1. I need a professional breaker to find every rough edge so i can sand it off. 2. As long as you use it _exactly_ as intended everything is fine, just don't breathe on it wrong or it will break. School 1 is the correct one for release to the public and trying to actually fix something, school 2 is for lazy engineers who just need the jury rigged thing to do its job without breaking.
I loved the timelapse of watching Etho work. We are usually watching time lapses of hermits working, this is a time lapse of a hermit watching another hermit working.. .. very meta
Made me wonder why he didn't use a furnace minecart tbh since it should of pushed all the mobs in the right direction, but I assume I'm missing something or they didn't think of it.
Hey Grian! I've been brainstorming some titles for the permit competition and thought this might capture the essence of the event: "The Hermit’s Firmament: The Ultimate Permit Tournament." It's got a grand ring to it, reflecting the high stakes and the adventurous spirit of the competition. Can't wait to see how the competition unfolds!
I now want a cub horn that is 2 separate clips of Etho and Joel both calling themselves humble overlaid ontop of eachother. (If the audio is too jumbled then just a horn for each, Etho "Most Humble" And Joel "Extraordinarily Humble")
As a clarinetist I love hearing the clarinet and bass clarinets during time lapses, the little jigs always sound so good and whoever makes the music, props to them!
“scar has built the most insane pile of ore i’ve ever seen, and i thought to myself, ‘well he’s asking for a competition, right?’” might just be the most grian thing ever in the funniest and best way haha
Y’all making me feel old. I don’t think I ever heard of Crosby road before today but frogger was one of the most popular pc games in my childhood and as far as I was aware is still considered a classic.
Grian’s ore tower is like when you’d get one of those chocolate bunnies on Easter and be disappointed as hell when you realize it’s hollow on the inside 💀
23:05, Just letting you know Iskall is making one, and that colored glass border is it. If you want, you could offer him a split on the permit and working with him on it.
22:27 Grian ianxofour has a great farm design that is not too complicated and hard to build and would absoloutely be enough to stock a shop (I am not sure about hermitcraft though). I have built the same farm in a server and it was awesome. The only issue is that you need to build an item sorter under the farm and build an item disposer because the farm fills up real fast and will cause serious lag if all of the storage area is filled ( If you build the storage area be sure to place more chests for the pyrismarine shards because the guardians drop a lot of pyrismarine shards, you do not need to place a lot of storage for the tropical fish and the mob heads)
Hear me out, the post office needs an elaborate and difficult 2nd entrance that has puzzles and mazes etc. so that the office closes before they even get in…
