If that was bad you should see ambiguousamphibians build lmao
Thats some spagetti
Me who played first world like that😂😂😂.
Me when looking at whole world realising what I have done💀
1st run: conveyor spaghetti
2nd run: conveyor spaghetti 2 meters off the ground so you can walk under it
3rd run: conveyor spaghetti clipped underground so you can still see the sun
4th run: conveyor spaghetti so far up it doesn’t render
5th run: conveyor spaghetti hanging from the ceilings of a five story megafactory feeding the stacks of splitters on the ground. Because the spaghetti consumes EVERYTHING!!!
6th run: paint the belts spegeti and eat
7th run: actually start making neat conveyer busses with neat 90-degree angles on every belt
*Lets Game It Out* has joined the chat
Just what I was going to say
@@pianopickleplays7420 me too god dang it
Hey there, its Josh! Welcome back to LetsGameItOut!
So true
to be fair what they show here looks organized compare to watch josh does xD
If it works, it works 😂
Yeah men. That the main purpose🤣
The first rule of programming:
Works - don't touch
😂😂😂😂😂
Until it doesn't because of the increased demand so you go back to this tight spaghetti mess... It worked for me until the last tier... Now I have to reshape the whole thing. Glad I was smart enough to make a massive storage area and a beautiful rail yard
@@raphaelturcotte9638 I ended up doing the same thing. I just designed efficient multi level factories next to my current spaghetti mess, and rerouted all resources to them.
I call that the Italian play through, nothing but spaghetti
🍝
Alternatively: Papyrus Mode
AO CHE HAI CONTRO GLI ITALIANI?
😂😂Hhahaha Italians spaghetti, right?
So funny🤡
It's hyper realistic Factorio
As a new player, I feel so called out
Me too
I resemble this remark
The headache gets worse 😂
It's organised chaos. Mine looks even worse and I still know where everything is.
As a German, I had the opposite problem. I'd try to compact the factories as much as possible, and it took me a long time to learn that the map is huge and its okay to not try to build every factory like I'm designing a micro chip.
As someone with German ancestry this comment made me understand my entire life
lol I'm doing the same thing. I spent so long designing my iron factory to be perfectly compact and organized it's ridiculous. I'm up to 18hrs in the game and haven't even made steel yet
@@travishudson9796 no steel after 18 hours is fine I'd say. There are more useful things to focus on
As a German, had the same Problem.
Just make sure the smelters have enough power
“Where does this go?”
“Yeah there was a time where I knew the answer to that”
My first world still has no power because of this. Every so often I go back to try and fix it and slowly lose hope to the inevitability that whatever black magic fuckery let it run to start with is no longer happy to continue allowing it to run
@@Kitsuneko111This is some poetic nonsense. This is first time i hear somebody lose there work to the magic of spaghetti.
Since main problem is power outage, I suggest building separate factory with sole purpose of making energy. That way you can disconnect it to turn it on.
In fact I encourage you to build another smaller powerplant to power the bigger one.
Also there should be power breakers available to you.
And lastly have a backup fuel storage or multiple for easier time turning them on again.
You probably already tried at least some of my ideas already, but it's worth a shot. Maybe one day you will decipher your own creation.
@@mirasmussabekov4897 believe me I have tried everything I can to get it to start up again and nothing wants to happen. The "main factory" seems kind of ok with its limited coal power but the second I try and get the fuel end working it all manages to collapse. Probably just missing something but who knows. Knowing my luck it'll be a ghost connected conveyer creating a backlog of oil waste... Maybe I'll give it another go in a moment.
if I can't get it working next time I try I'll probably just be resigned to redesigning the entire grid BUT last time I considered that we didn't have the new power options like the priority breakers and large pylons
@@Kitsuneko111 That's the spirit! Maybe fresh set of eyes will make everything clear or maybe it will be somebody else.
It's me... guys, its me. I'm the monster.
then I'm sorry for what must be done
*rach-click*
You are not alone bro hahaha
My friend has organized everything (i havent) so when he joined my world he left rather quickly
This is still me 800 hours later
Your commitment to chaos is real.
At 1k hours I can confirm this is me still lol😊😊😊
500 hours checking. I tend to race to space elevator and it looks pretty damn bad. Then I start building into proper factories and eventually delete all/most the spaget. (which feels great)
I always say thats what im going to do but never do lol@@kleinbottled79
This is gorgeous. I’m not yet good enough to build stuff into the terrain this organically, but I am inspired to get better at it by builds like this!
Watch ImKibiz to get better he has inspired me!
@@asackrat I don't think I would want to play like Kibiz even if I could (Pretty sure I can't) dude is verging on madness. Still love his stuff though.
@@asackratbro had to custom mod his game setup to keep going after hitting the maximum entity limit for Unreal Engine itself... just so he could fully use every resource node that could possibly go into space elevator components. He literally made Excell spreadsheets for power shard overclocking percentages on batches of machines. Dude might actually have a problem😅
I feel so attacked! I'm like at tier 6 and finally thought of trying to make neater factories... and found your channel for tips!
You know how it is. The internet always gonna tell you how to play a game. Wish they’d buy the game for us too lol
huh i make atm quantum computers aka last tieres and im more someone who gets annoyed by spending time on placing foundations and i kinda prefer it to be looking like spaghetti lol
That's why you gotta get foundations as soon as possible. I'm literally dying inside seeing this.
*Lets play of putting foundations* 😅
They say first of all to build concrete contractors, then plates and you will do 50% of playthrough
lol still me with foundations.
On my second play, the first thing I did was make foundations. Then I made everything tight and contained within walls. I will never again make spaget
No, you're not, literally, dying inside.
I’m at the stage where I have spaghetti but it’s also vertical and confined within huge floating foundation structures
I'm not a new player and I still build like this. All I can say is it works and it got me to completing the last elevator phase
Same it's so frustrating to organize everything only to add a new resource & then have to redo everything to account for new production, power, logistics, storage, & transport.
Looks aesthetic asf with the display of all the riches you have on conveyer belts
I still do this. Not because it's pretty or even efficient, but because it's the fastest way to build a temporary setup just to get you off of biomass.
The moment coal exists it's the first actual thing with foundations. And the second will be the torn down remains of the spaghetti with the new coal power.
Tbh I love the spaghetti. I call it the high chaos playthrough.
Spaghetti > Mathematically organized headaches.
that is what is currently happening and i’m trying to fix it
Fly in Update 8 under AGM makes this a thing of the past.
And you can always tear down and rebuild.
I have 500 hours in and I have improved a lot
Yes and after the game i start to fix in my life also
don't be afraid to destroy your old factories to build them again better lads
Just reading this gave me anxiety
Nothing like making a very satisfying and logical production line only to get a new building that suddenly means you need to either destroy everything and start over or make some disgusting re-feed loop that turns your right angles into spaghetti
I actually love this. Even later stages of the game i really enjoyed factories with insane clipping that fit thousands of resorces with complicated production into as liittle space as physically possible. Clipping is by far my favoite aspect of the game XD. And blueprints allow for things that are kust completely and utterly insane.
This is pretty true lmao
Factorio Players: Do you know who you are even talking to?
and i took it personally
Tip: The enviroment doesn't matter, just place foundations through the WHOLE map, it helps
This is literally me now on my first world and I think I'm gonna start over.
Nah, just move to a new location and make a new factory there, then come back and scavenge the abandoned old factory for parts whenever you need
@@wolfrig2000 too late 😂
me: fixes spaghetti just to make myself a new bowl of spaghetti 🍝
And in some cases I’m making enough for the whole family. 😂
Then you restart once you understand to keep everything modular and simple at the beginning.
Lmao...come now, I wasn't THAT bad! 🤣🤣🤣
im on tier 7 and recently found out about grid snapping to the world and not just platforms... i recently decided to rebuild my entire mega station on this grid and make it perfectly placed for future factories...
I slowed my playthrough to a crawl because for some reason I really hate making really long belts, so I end up tech rushing to vehicles to transport resources between nodes, making automation ten times more complicated than it needs to be.
As someone with over 650 hours in this game I don't see a problem with that
That looks like my world every time I start a new one.
My builds usually start off looking like that... And then I research foundations and spontaneously rip up literally everything I've built until then. 90° belt corners or bust.
Spaghetti chaos is a sight to behold. Brings tears to my eyes.
Took me awhile to realize the math behind it and use 2 smelters and constructors on one node to maximize effeciency
I mean, doing it all squared and clean is what killed the fun for me. Plus the fact that it is and end in itself, making it a bit chaotic looks more rough more like surviving on the planet
Having a neat factory makes it so much easyer and boilding a massive screw factory will pay dividends
Current spaghetti was broke down to clean up, it became vertical spaghetti instead.
Literally what my save looked like until recently
😂
I just started the game recently, this is about where I'm heading. It was worse, I completely destroyed everything and rebuilt it and made it more organized and it still turning into this. I only just learned from another video that you can build multi-floor buildings to organize things, so hopefully it's not too late to fix the spaghetti
This was me until i saw this mans talented tutorials. You saved me man!
I build everything as close together until you have no room to move around them really. My rats nest of machines will remain.
This is 100% me right now. Hoping your videos can help me learn some structure to my building methods because I didn't even know the game could look so clean.
Speak for yourself lol.. I spent so much time making my base look as neat and nice and in orderly fashion as possible and now I’ve got all my over flow system running around into awesome sinks.. just take your time and make things nice cuz there’s no rush in a game like this.. I found myself rushing at first but now I’m chillen and taking in every part of the game.. btw foundations help keep everything in line lmao
Yes absolutely lol I’ve grown so much in the last years playing this game. It’s such a great game like that.
Bro got offended lmao
Yeah that's why it says "new" players my dude
Everyone hail the almighty Josh, the one who broke the technical (perhaps ethical and moral) impositions of the most committed engineers.
Thats what I did two days ago, but I fix it after watching your new video
:D
I embraced the tangle and just kept adding things where ever they fit and it was just a fun puzzle to rearrange what little space I left on the absolute nightmare of a web going every which way
THIS IS ME RIGHT NOW! IM TRYING TO FIX IT... BUT MORE AND MORE STUFF JUST GETS IN THE WAY!!!!!!!
I NEED HALP
The problem I have with these games is the practical part of me ends up fighting the esthetic part of me. I get to a point where I cannot progress because I keep rebuilding what I have previously built.
My first savegame looked just exactly like this😂😂😂😂😂
This is literally me today, started the game last night.
Lol, this video sums up how I started Satisfactory, the worst thing is all the junk is still in its original position. The layout was done years ago, the layout is an utter mess but it works 😂
In the beginning stage Foundation cost is relatively expensive. Most players do like that until the first biomass power plant(Array of) is established.
I embraced it on my first play through. There is beauty in the chaos.
There has to be balance lol, the conveyors leading up to my factory are spaghetti, but on the factory floor it’s art
that's literally true, I rebuilded my factory 5 times and now I'm only building it bigger or building new ones.
You took one of my saves I had before I stated to watch you vids lmao
im thinking about destroying everything to rebuild just because by my storage i have so many clipping conveyers rn
It's like code, you don't organize it but if it does what you want DO NOT touch it
bro this is exactly me, hoping there will be a way to organise better soon lmao, im only after the first space elevator upgrade
This almost broke my brain! 😂
One half of me dies inside seeing this, the other half delights in the chaos that ensues.
‘Hey there it’s Josh, welcome back to let’s game it out!’
Opposite problem when I was a new player. I couldn't help myself to not tear down absoluteky everything I had built to rebuild it with my latest new item in the name of even more efficiency, neatness and compactivity instead lf doing the smart thing of leaving everything as is and instead just progress the game and make my new sfuff better, leaving my stuff that just worked alone and have its output always ready for new projects
It took me all of about twenty minutes to realize having a foundation in place makes your life infinitely easier.
Oh my gosh, that after looks exactly like something I’ve built, so true!!
The struggle is real…
Same but 300 hours
Indeed! It is also advanced players who know they will have to tear it all down and rebuild soon. When I do a new start I either design my layout so I can rebuild without destroying the whole factory, or I do quick efficient builds on the ground so I can handcraft biomass and screw. We all know the game doesn't get going till you get coal power so a little mess before then is totally understandable.
Steve Carell is a treasure for giving the internet that clip😂😂
It took me until almost 100hrs in to realize the value of genuine buildings
to be fair. mine were much closer together forcing me to remove severel to expand the smelters plus i did not even notice how things were overfloving. but now 40 hours later i started making my own BP to be more efficient. I am still gonna pack as much as i can into a 4x4x4 space instead of making more streamlined Bps
The struggle of wanting aesthetics V.S. wanting more resources
Ok but it do be like that without foundations
Why does that look exactly like my first factory
this is the reason i already am getting into the habit of organising mt factories :3
Relatable.
I'v made a storage room thing and the belts...
yeah i can get out of the base if im not on top of it
This happened to me today, and I just disassembled EVERYTHING.
And then built a little factory in its place :)
You didn't have to call me out like that... My first factory looked so much like that.
my first full playthrough of this is just a huge cluster mess and I love flying through it all with my jetpack cause it's just everything going everywhere :D
I always start off with a mess but make it nicer and more efficient by tearing everything down, building it back up again
This is the inevitable end result of any playthrough as playtime approaches infinity.
This hurts... I'm trying but I'm too basic I have no idea how to have stuff be easily accessible 😂
Thats part of why i dont like starting in the grass fields. So many impure nodes you need tons of miners early on.
Best is they also make massive trails from places like oil or bauxite to the grass lands
Recommendation: there’s actuall a really good base spot just north of that exact area, as it has coal, water, limestone, iron, and copper, AND a bunch of fauna for biofuel
Damn. In all my days I have never, and I MEAN NEVER, have I been called out this hard
It be like that no matter how much you plan.
as a factorio OG i was very methodical, i really wish i could start with free foundations just the foundations
Just got to coal and finished designing a new layout without ever once looking at CZcams. It looks exactly like this. 20 minutes on CZcams would’ve saved me hours.
Some players don't learn to build up.
Yeah my factory never once looked like that even when I first started
i can attest as a new satisfactory player, this is completely true
A few moments after that: "Hey there, it's Josh from Lets Game It Out.."
you can get away with everything, if you call it your starter Base
I originally played factorio... so when i started satisfactory, i kind of just saw it as 3d factorio and made it nice and organized.
THAT IS SO RELATABLE I JUST STARTED AND MY FACTORY IS PURE CHAOS
I love that i am the only one who has not set up a automatic anything and has also played the game for 400h total😅
I always have plans to make everything neat and organized. I can see it in my head, and it looks magnificent! … but end up like this. 😢
super accurate
i setup a quick slapjob to get started and with that i build my actual base and delete the earlier
