I have a question about the concrete production. I'm at the same phase as you, with only Mk.2 conveyor belts. Since each constructor takes 45 limestone per minute, they would need a total of 180 per minute. How did you transport it all with only a belt capacity of 120? I see you have two lines of limestone but how did you get them all into the machines?

To gather leafs hit and hold 'e'. Open and close the inventory by hitting the 'tab' key twice. Now if you release the 'e' you will still gather leafs.

Lol calling this a "starter factory" while using things you don't have yet at the start, even when skipping the tutorial tier. FRAUD ALERT :D Underclocking is a research unlock, the screw recipe requires you to find it first (which could take minutes or hours), mk2 belt (even if you skip to that tier, you still need the reinforced plates to build them), catwalks is an unlock which you need a sink for and have already sunk quiet a bit. etc...

Plz continue this series and upgrade starter factory to master level will all components and transportation including trains and trucks

For some reason, it didn't even occur to me to merge every generator into one big power grid, instead having many small grids for each generator. I feel dumb That was already starting to make power management challenging a few hours in lol

blame the factory manager (game design) , you can't just order a factory then ask to make edits to support to 2 products on top of the existing product from different levels

A trick for loading manifolds faster, set all the machines to the minimum overclock, so they still accept items, but use it so slowly, it fills way faster than it uses, then set it back to the desired speed on ine, copy and paste that setting to each machine, saves time and lets you buffer the last couple machines.

I believe I have figured out the first three levels: First level shown being built: Iron Plate, Iron Rod, and Screws, all from one Iron source. Second Level: Copper Wire, Cable, and Copper Sheets, all from one Copper source. Third Level: Reinforced Iron Plate, all stages from one Iron source. I couldn't see the entire build for the fourth level, though I do suspect the three Constructors in the lower left corner are for Concrete (from a single limestone source). The rest could be Modular Frame or Rotors. Personally, I went with Rotors.

Thats so true bro I stopped playing on my 1st playthrough cause I had so much spaghetti i didnt even know where anything is, my second playthrough with a friend tho is so much better and we got all settle up almost perfectly

I followed your guide which was great by the way! However, I thought I'd be clever and load the fluids from my logistics-floor underneath. As you can guess I was having a bunch of problems with pipes not being full, and the buffer never filled up. I spent a while this morning learning more about head lift and found out that my under-floor loading of fluids is the problem. Looking forward to redesigning it and removing this issue. Thanks for the GREAT guide. I'm a about to tackle a huge oil-fired fired power plant on the west coast. :)

So, now with every coal generator working they power themselves? Coal Generator generates electricity and that electricity power up the water pumps and the drill itself?

For the Encased Industrial Beams, you forgot to mention to set the last Foundry to produce only 15 Items/minute (33,3333%), or else the production won't be 100% efficient. (Update 8)

Thanks for this! I saw a very similar tutorial (with the pipes above the belts), and I set up about 6 coal generators and it was stable and fine, but I wanted more. So I redid the whole thing and...messed up the water, lol. But I redid the water again and now it's running smooth and perfect and power is better than ever. Now just to set up my factories so they're not a ridiculous mess. XD
