    The key seems to use a wet pallet and commit to experimenting with mixing to get the tones you are happy with while being able to save your work. The wet pallets allows for this where a plastic kids dabber won't help.

      Yeah I don't recommend a kids diaper either...

    Thanks for the detailed yet concise info. I've been looking for easy to digest flesh guides that go beyond Base-Layer-Wash-Highlight. Liked and Subbed, cheers.

    Wow that is a lot of steps haha. Looks great tho! But I think I'm gonna stick to a simpler Base-Wash-Highlight routine for now.

      Thank you! Haha yes it isn't for basic paintjobs. You can still do a simplfied version of this. Just skip the later steps :)

    These are amazing, Subscribed! Do you plan to paint any elf skin at all?

    • @OscarLars
      @OscarLars  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks a ton! Most paint their elves in a similar skin tone to Caucasian, but it's possible if I can find something that's different enough.

    i have a curious question, when you mentioned blue glaze, what blue glaze did you use?

  • @Komandie

    Hi. Noob here. Why use lahmian medium + druchii violet instead of a wash?

    • @Nobleshield
      @Nobleshield Před 2 měsíci

      Lahmian Medium will dilute the paint but keeps the pigment better

    Great tutorial! Looks like I could do this! How would u modify this to paint up say 120 zombies! Thx!

    • @OscarLars
      @OscarLars  Před rokem

      I wouldn't use this for zombies. I'd probably use a tutorial that is for painting them fast :)

    Seems like you really only need the first few steps for most models.

    • @OscarLars
      @OscarLars  Před 2 lety

      It depends on how much time you want to spend on the models, but yes, I like to point up the options so I hope you feel like it’s helpful :)
