    Awesome Grizzly's! Thanks for the link in your Brooklyn Tour Blog.... The heavier tires are well worth it. Are they high speed spin balanced? What's a maxed out 72V Grizz capable of? Talk about BEAST ! ! !
    I blew a head gasket on my Kaw 1600 Vulcan Nomad outrunning a Ninja up around 135... But thats over 800 lbs of rocket sled! I can imagine the thrill of jetting around on one of these souped up e-bikes!

      The tires themselves are rated for 112 mph. These were the nicest dual sport tires that could fit my wheels. In terms of a 72V Grizzly, with the 3kw motor and a higher amp controller (like a 100 or 150 amp) you can reach speeds close to 60 mph or even faster. A bigger battery is also recommended to compensate for the current.

    • @e-streetbikes6381
      @e-streetbikes6381  Před 2 lety +4

      Upgrading your controller will give you that small top speed increase but be limited based on the 1kw motor output and battery voltage. I've seen people still use a 1kw motor but upgrading their controller and battery to a 72V got them to top speeds of 40-45 mph. It's definitely up to you and how you want to ride. With the 3kw I feel you'll get the most out of your bike as far as overall performance goes. Plus you'll be able to keep up with the Surrons and beat the Onyx's 😉
