Good petition
🙋🏾♂️ I'm sick of these "no not my child," "my child is harmless," "he's harmless" parents.
The fact that they let him walk out the office without being searched or detained at all after finding those notes is mind blowing.. these poor kids deaths could have been prevented so easily..
I'm fucking baffled, in my short school career at a "good school" we had: an entire class basically strip searched for a missing scalpel from science, a kid got kicked out for having a jewelry bag (his mom made jewelry), and so many zero tolerance suspensions of people who did nothing. In this america how does the school not act, clearly the parents get most of the blame but how did the school not take it more serious?
Truly shocking...rip all involved..
The school is supposed to see those “pictures of people getting shot” and ship the kid away to mental house already …these schools can stop it(!) they just let it go on
Facts!! Hell the Counselor or Principal who ever held the school meeting should be held accountable too for even letting the kid stay at school and not searching him..
u would guess his parents made a big stink about it and the school people pussied out and didnt search him. If his parents woulda came in there concerned and maybe even mentioned "hey wait a min we just bought this kid a gun ... hey son wheres the gun? is it home?" I mean comeon the parents bought the gun after the first incident on the 21st when they told the parents he was searching for ammo in school and said "lol dont get caught". This kid did the shooting 4 days after getting the gun. he def asked them to buy him a gun so he could do this. How fucking dumb could they be. Bought their son a gun and 4 days later hes drawing those pics and writing notes about killing people. Then they get called into school and basically say "Fuck no were not taking him home and fuck no he doesnt need counseling." I get it that parents soemtimes in denial that their kid could do such a horrible act but their were criminally negligent. And really dumb because they self snitched on social media that they bought the gun for the son. Dad tried to report "his" gun missing at the time of the shooting but its too late you and your dumb wife already posted on social media that it was your sons xmas present. I think that This particular school shooting is gonna change a ton of protocol going forward in terms of schools responsibility and parents responsibility going forward. Like if you get caught drawing pics of shootings in your notebook in school its gonna be policy that you get removed/searched and all types of shit right away. When i was a little kid i prob drew some doodles of shoot outs or someshit in my notebook cuz i played cod and loved GI joes and paintball and my cousin who was in iraq was my hero and shit. so drawing a gun is one thing but his words along with it is a whole other ball game. But yeah my guess is that the reason he wasnt searched is cuz his parents made a whole big issue at the school when he was in the office. I bet if they notified the school people that this kid actually had gotten a handgun 4 days ago for xmas that this would have been prevented but those dumbfucks were irresponsible and will sit in jail along with their child because of this. I just feel bad if he has a sibling or his other relatives and how they must feel along with all the victims and their families obviously. RIP to that kid Tate man. what a hero he is in heaven right now living it up while this kid is probably in a cold cell rn in a turtle suit crying his eyes out along with his parents ... bozo

They should be charged for negligence.
he ended up being like this because of them...sick fucks
The fact that they purchased their son a pistol with multiple mags and not even properly secure the weapon is beyond ridiculous. I've been around all types of firearms my entire life there is no reason to give a child a semi auto handgun unless they do competition shooting which it still should be heavily monitored and guarded. Stupid senseless people who reproduce like this ruin and jeopardize our gun rights.
@@jlowe5944 but the a parent can gift a riffle to a 17 year old boy right..
@@boloyueng9676 No that personally shouldn't happen either but, there's a big difference between giving an experienced kid their first hunting long gun and putting a firearm designed for concealment in their possession. Regardless it's the parents fault for arming that boy.

I was glad to hear the parents charged. Charging the parents is a new precedence that will hopefully motivate other parents to secure their firearms and not keep them in a paw patrol bag!!!💯💪🏽

If you buy someone a gun when they can’t legally have it and he kills people with it that’s a crime lol
@@lsx7611 There isn't a state in the country that allows the transfer of a handgun to someone under 18. One of the parents purchased the handgun and then gave it to their son. Someone might say they were just letting him use or borrow it, but the mom said herself it was a gift, and so did the son. It's illegal on a federal level. It's still registered to the parent obv because its impossible to transfer it legally to the kid, which is why the father called in the "missing gun", even though we now all know it was gifted from the conversation history between the parents and kid.
RIP to Tate Myre he put his life on the line to try to save other students , even if it might not of worked he tried and everyone should be able to respect that

“He said bro red flag” I know school is so annoying now because of tiktok 😂I’m happy I was done way before this
I’ve said this many times…someone should have searched that kids backpack when he was sent to the office…this definitely could have been prevented but you are right at other “certain” schools they got metal detectors and pat downs before you can enter the school. In today’s school shooter climate maybe all schools should have preventive measures like that. On another note the parents were definitely at fault but that’s a very slippery slope there…That’s opening the door to charge parents for anything their children do. Watch if the parent do catch those manslaughter charges it’s gonna be a straight up war on parents for any and everything their children do even though the parents may be good parents…NOTE: these were not good parents and they should get charged with something…but we’ll see what happens.
Exactly what the fuck I said when they had him stay in the school instead of kicking him off grounds !!
@@versatileduplicity9313 yes how dumb of them.. the kid had fantasies on shooting good idea.to search maybe... imagine how quick they search when you reek of mj. Yeah, it’s strange that his parents did not want to take him home with them that day. I wonder what they’re reasoning was. If he needs help why leave him at the school. I would think they would want to take him home and have a heart to heart conversation with him.
Smart students. That BRO word he said saves those students. Listening and hearing words are very important. Keep it up
They was not buying it..
Thank you for saying what you said about metal detectors...you are absolutely correct. They are all over urban districts and yet in the suburbs where people live with a false sense of security, nothing. Unfortunately, the world we live in dictates that metal detectors should be in all middle and high schools. Geography does not equal safety. Metal detectors won't fix everything, but they will help and our children stay safe. Our children deserve all the help they can get in order to stay safe doing something as simple as attending school.
As someone who went to a school in an urban district with a metal detector I’ve been saying metal detectors at all schools are the BEST solution to these school shootings. If a kid can’t get into school with a gun,no school shooting. Also statistically speaking these school shootings happen way more in suburban or rural districts than they do in urban/inner city school districts. You’ve never heard of a school shooting in south central, south side/west side Chicago,Brooklyn, the Bronx or in any other city/borough with high rates of gang violence.
czcams.com/video/yjy5eXLyxdw/video.html…
The suburbs of L.A. had them in the early eighties, I wonder if the progressives had them removed and then just put up no gun zone signs, wouldn't want to offend.......
@@rouskeycarpel1436 not true, they happen all the time. if a brown or black kid does a mass shooting in a ghetto school, nobody outside of the district would give a fuck.
@@ladylestranj Like you said the SUBURBS of LA not within the city itself.
We had metal detectors at my middle school back in the day and had to wear clear bookbags, nothing ever happened involving guns but it was considered a "ghetto school"
Yet the suburban school got shot up. Crazy. Need metal detectors in every school or this will happen again sadly
A lot of these cases parents should be held accountable. I think when we start doing that, these shootings will become less. Great vid as always!👍🏾

Michigan is one of 14 states with a “negligent storage law,” which can make gun-owning parents criminally liable for crimes committed with their firearms by their children.
This should be in every state, not just 14.
I mean in cases like this is weird because usually when you do have kid who’s in high school normally parents wouldn’t bat an eye at him knowing where the gun is located and how to access just in case if something was to happen the parents aren’t there the reason why I said this is weird because it could’ve been easily prevented
Say it again for the 36 states in the back
@@DonJulio1942 theres a major difference in a kid knowing the gun location, and knowing the proper rules and regulations that come with the knowledge of the gun location. This law should be able to observe proper gun safety requirements being met, and the kid simply being that one smashed egg that knows right from wrong and chose wrong anyways. Hopefully it can be written to protect the good parents from their shitty offspring, and punish the bad parents as well as their shitty offspring
BIG FACTS BRO!!! Back in my years of schooling every school I attended had metal detectors and we were searched aswell for safety reasons. I played sports basketball, football, and track and field and whenever we attended other schools in wealthy areas NON had metal detectors. Those schools hated coming to our home games. Called us names poor, animals, thugs etc. Magnetic doors aswell for safety. Never any shootings INSIDE the schools in my area. Maybe blocks away but never inside. But we always hear of these events in mainly wealthy or white areas. I say this to say ALL schools should have that same system regardless of low income areas or wealthy areas. The 1 place all kids should ALWAYS feel safe is in a school and these school systems should be more strict of that. They wanna make change after something like this happens when it could have been possibly prevented.
I totally agree. The suburban folks are living in a world with their eye wide shut. The burbs need metal detectors. My boys are both hs age and nothing in the wealthy area schools they attend (I'm not wealthy just got lucky and found a cheap rental in a great neighborhood...duplex. it's small but it works) but 10 miles away there are metal detectors in the st Paul/mpls schools. Makes no sense when burns are where these shootings are happening.
@@plumsmom8043 Yeah I went to a highschool in the suburbs & its kinda crazy how relaxed our security was. We literally had maybe 4 cops in this big ass school, no metal detectors & some shitty cameras im sure. It was easy as shit to just walk out of that school if you didnt wanna be there. They need to start stepping security measures up.
Everything you said is on point. I live in the burbs with these being the schools all around me. I'm by no means wealthy, single mom lucky to have a good housing deal, and in some respects I feel very lucky my child can attend a school where I know she is well taken care of. She has down syndrome and has a great IEP program but these same type of kids are the ones I worry about going to school with my child. There are no metal detectors, no searches, not even a resource officer. It's scary times and I support strict, secure schools 100 percent.
Even in London where there’s no skll shootings in 3 schools I went to they had a button u had to press when going in and it would like go off every 15 ppl or something then they would get searched
Hmmmm 🤔 Maybe the reason there are so many school shootings is cause you got 17yos walking out with AR-15s on the fucking streets.
I gotta say, the way you deliver news is way better than 99% of so called professionals, your presentation is excellent yet simple.
It’s so tough to know what’s really ever going on with a troubled kid and a different person going through the same feelings would never even consider hurting anyone. All that said, I can’t think of how a kid could be more clear than writing and having found a note that says “I can’t stop these feelings, help me” or whatever. His parents had all the evidence needed to know he was in trouble, but they got him a gun. Jeez.
The school knew to not just the parents!!
@@slayer6936 yeah. And the school contacted the parents telling them to get the kid help. The school cant force the kid to go to therapy and if the expel him without better evidence or reasons they can get sued. But imo. I believe that day he went to the office after drawing those pictures the school shouldve at least 3 day suspend him for the drawings alone. At least then the parents wouldve had to of taken him home right on the spot

What you said about judging people wisely is so true. However, people are so scared to get labeled a snitch or to get labeled as someone who "cancels" people that they end up not saying anything when they see some blatantly bad stuff. But what if that person you didn't snitch on does something like this? You think anyone around you is going to be mad at you for being a snitch when you just saved lives? The fact that his bag was left unsearched is just mind boggling. Not tryna throw around accusations, but it's extremely possible that the parents at least suspected that the kid had the firearm on him during that meeting and chose not to say anything. Again, not wanting to judge or snitch on your own child caused this, and from what I've seen the parents are textbook "those two shouldn't be parents" people. Throw the book at em.

That's crazy . two parent household , still a teenager , but he still feels hopeless . His parents actually cared about him . I can't say the same thing , neither one of my parents cared about me .
Same and I was bullied not once did I think about killing anyone and we had unlocked guns in the house. I had access to a 357 mag, a bolt action .308 and a 9mm handgun. This kid needed a mental institution.
Parents should've enrolled him in taekwondo or some martial art like all these parents of these bullied incels should do.
It’s okay same here but they’re all gonna get life basically , and your free , me and you have are freedom, and there’s others like us out there we’re not alone, remember that
You’re right about making assessments and judging situations. People need to do that more often. What else is odd about this is the kid complained about life and had the tool to delete himself yet used it to ruin other families and remove the possibility for the others to live theirs.
At first I thought the parents shouldn't be charged, but after doing some reading and hearing Jake shed some light, I feel they should be held accountable. RIP to those who died and love to the families left trying to deal with this.
They were entirely too complicit. They definitely deserve to go down with him
Yup. And after yesterday’s “out of town visit” while they were supposed to be in court - that just made them flight risk. They no they’re just as responsible.

I’m glad they’re charging the parents. They need to start doing this. The parents know what’s going on…or they should. Your kid is your responsibility.
tbh its the parents and school fault for having the note and leaving him at school or at the minimum not checking his bag the school is more at fault
Parents can only do so much but in this case I think they could have done more.
@@joeleadbitter1564 schools are supposed to follow guidelines and they had reason for worry and didn't even check his bag that on them. Most teenagers see their teachers more than the parents tbh
@@joeleadbitter1564 parents always doubt the kids can do something so wrong that's why schools supposed too be unbiased.... What parent can ever assume the child is capable of something like that. It reminds me of the dads with the thot daughters that get pregnant in highschool

Totally agree, I feel the school also needs to take some responsibility. They allowed this kid back in class. We feel he needs immediate help but in the mean time, no worries he can just stay in school.
Could they legally do that? Sounds like they wanted the kid out ASAP and the parents ignored
It was most likely to late by the time the cops found him

@@themanspeakingtruth how come black gets expelled so much then?

The last part of the video, speaking some real facts.
Been waiting on this one…. Keep up the good work!
Hickory doesn't deserve that man..... He a wholesome old man, safe gun carrier, responsible and over all knowledgeable. People might use this against gun review channels, which sucks.
Parents honestly deserve the charges, signs were there.

Parents will likely be found guilty given the maximum sentence and then it’ll be over turned in appeals court because you know the constitution gets in the way of prosecuting someone for someone else’s sins.
They will be found not guilty because there is zero precedent for these charges. Parents have no obligation to pay for the crimes of their child. Looking up things on the internet isn’t a warning sign and even threats made on a phone doesn’t necessarily mean anything will happen. They have no responsibility here. Emotional reactions are understandable but don’t get your hopes up.
@@Marlboro-lights1 did you not watch the video, did you not read about the case at all? they will be 100% prosecuted for this, they basically caused this to happen and ran off. There might not be a precedent because this will be the precedent in future cases. The fact that your actually serious that the parents won’t get charged is beyond retarded seeing as how they caused this and were extremely negligible, I’ll even come back to this comment when the verdict is reached just to assert how wrong you were.
Not dad he bought the gun for the kid by straw purchase and mom knew cause she posted it online and knew the kid could have had the gun in his bag dude they'll sit for awhile but proudly not long enough
@@Marlboro-lights1 They are in Oakland County in Michigan. Looking at some hard time there. They don't play there
Involuntary manslaughter and other crimes involving neglect of responsibilities have broad definitions. You should educate yourself instead of acting like you know shit you don't.
I love how the intro is his florida accent and the rest of the video is the boston accent 😅😂
Watching that video of those kids being scared for their lives really hurt to watch. I couldn’t even imagine how they must have felt at the time.
If the school staff who made these decisions are not charged then justice will never be served. HOW DARE THEY
But they contacted their parents and they ignored it. they had a meeting with the parents about the drawing and they chose to keep him in school. Also who the fuck buys their kid a gun for Christmas.
LOL blaming the school & not the parents fleeing after finding out their kid is a mass shooter,,,, red flags coming from this guy...
@@bigdonkey8210 Here in Texas it isn't unusual for a parent to buy firearms for their kids. I got my first rifle when I was 12, so did my brother and so did all of my cousins. It's normal here. We never carried them to school though and had a school contacted our parents about fucked up behavior like this school did, we'd have been in a world of shit at home! It sure as hell wouldn't have been ignored.
@@bigdonkey8210 the school thought he should go home but when the parent protested they gave in and let him stay, the staff failed big time in that situation, and innocent people died as a result.
The kid also didn't become unstable overnight so the fact that any patent would buy a child a handgun especially one who you know is disturbed and what business would he have with a handgun? I would understand a rifle if they hunt.
My 15yr old has a rifle that he uses when hunting but he does not have access to it otherwise and it is not kept in our home, it's picked up only when we go hunt and under my supervision at all times.
This is such a sad case, all the warning were there yet so many people ignored them.
If the kid was black or latino the school would've banned the kid from campus
Love this channel man. Honestly extremely educational keep grinding this is highly appreciated not by the streets only but by the people who are seeking more knowledge to be aware of the situation.
We rockin with you jake!! Respect b🙏 keep it going brody this the only news channel i be watching 👀💯💯🔥
We need to raise our kids to not bully, and to those being bullied put them in boxing/mma classes and to stand up for themselves with their hands. The parents are as responsible as Ethan is for this terrible incident.
Yeah tell that to city kids
@@yert8527 if parents were better parents then we'd see less of this.
My son is definitely going to ju jitzu classes. And anybody that bullies him I will show up at their parents house.
Yea this ain’t nothing new, and it’s a lot of the same comments every time this happens, and it’s sad to say it will continue! They didn’t stop it then, so it’s more common now and I bet he’ll beat the charge probably
@1 ROUND LEFT parents of bullies are like "no my kid would never do that" just like parents of school shooters are like "no my kid would never do that"
This is something Schools in the Hood actually do right ! Because in the Hood (atleast at school ) we had metal detectors at the door to scan you ,teachers search your backpack , then SRO pats you down after you literally went through a metal detector . I can honestly say we have never had a weopons problem at our school not a knife , shank ,gun , hell they don't even allow us to bring our own scissors to school that's how serious my school was with these type of things .
You're absolutely right dude. They enabled his to do as he wished with that firearm. Who the hell buys a handgun for their 15 year old kid?
People that want to be their kids friends instead of their damn parents
@@l.anglin9062 ion know about all that I think they have shitty judgment
I had a handgun damn near from the time I could hold one. My father had guns all over the house and we never touched unless we were given permission to. Currently, I don't own any guns. Shit like this is gonna make me change my mind.
@@tekkadawn6685 So my parents bought me a handgun cause I was on a shooting team at 16. Do they have Shitty judgement?
@@williamsych2537 what? You guy’s realize their parenting is what enabled this kid to do this shit. Guns literally kill people yes go cry about it but people are the ones pulling the trigger.

Why didn’t they take him home that day. Feels like parents knew.🙏🏽
My state is so damn dumb that the local news was reporting that the shooter was in Oxford, AL 🤦🏻♂️
"...when a dudes getting bullied and shoots up his school, and they blame it on Marilyn, and the heroin where were the parents at?"
Crazy how a Michigan rapper said that years ago and now it's finally being taken seriously, in Michigan.
I was just thinking this. They were probably bullying the hell out of that kid. Probably almost to the point of suicide or murder. And the teachers and staff did nothing. The teachers reactions when the kid told them he was distressed were probably, "Stop playing around and being disruptive and go sit back down and do your work. At those points, the students that were shot took advantage to bully him. And he got sick of it and shot them. I find it funny how they call him, "MENTALLY ILL". Such Bullshit. This was so preventable had those teachers and staff did something to Stop the bullying that was happening to this kid. SMGDH.
Eminem was straight spitting facts!
@@jamesrotibi5116 these kids need to take some taekwondo lessons then. If you're being bullied defend yourself. It's the only vital answer to not becoming a paranoid incel.

Jake you’re so on point in this video I mess with you the long way‼️
They had all the information they needed in the backpack, and none of the staff or his parents looked in it. The fact that he just bought his son a gun, now has drawings with very dark material in it, in front of them. With never connecting the dots, is unfreaking believable.
They knew lmao. Probably encouraged it. You never know what’s going through peoples heads. Sometimes sick fucks run in genetics.
This happened down the street from me and i know some of madisyns family. It never seems real when you see it on tv until it happens close to home. In my opinion the school failed as well as his parents. There were many signs the school overlooked. The school i went to would expell you for even joking about that shit
That’s crazy that staff-members LITERALLY tried to prevent this
That judgement precedent and metal detectors go hand in hand I feel like…. “ if there’s metal detectors at school must be a poor/bad area…” I’d rather have the kids be safe than to hear or care about an ignorant judgmental opinion about the areas financial standing just because of its safety precautions. Regardless, The parents deserve all those charges and more. I hope they set an example so they can enjoy every single minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year of their sentence. MAX THE SENTENCE AND SEND THEM TO GEN POP!
Armed teachers are already a thing in Tennessee in places where folks go hunting after school, but in most places it would increase the suicide rate amongst underpaid, overworked teachers
@Royal Palms87 I don’t think they realize not everybody should be handling a firearm in stressful situations. I love guns but I stand by what you’re saying.
@Royal Palms87 man light that kid up if every teacher got the flame u could save the lives of other kids bet he stop shooting when bullets fly at him
@Royal Palms87 I think school shooters would think twice if teachers are armed. It used to be normal back before the 90s. Gun nuts keep little girls like you safe
