      I'm fucking baffled, in my short school career at a "good school" we had: an entire class basically strip searched for a missing scalpel from science, a kid got kicked out for having a jewelry bag (his mom made jewelry), and so many zero tolerance suspensions of people who did nothing. In this america how does the school not act, clearly the parents get most of the blame but how did the school not take it more serious?

    • @skateboardingiscool1
      @skateboardingiscool1 Před 2 lety +3

      u would guess his parents made a big stink about it and the school people pussied out and didnt search him. If his parents woulda came in there concerned and maybe even mentioned "hey wait a min we just bought this kid a gun ... hey son wheres the gun? is it home?" I mean comeon the parents bought the gun after the first incident on the 21st when they told the parents he was searching for ammo in school and said "lol dont get caught". This kid did the shooting 4 days after getting the gun. he def asked them to buy him a gun so he could do this. How fucking dumb could they be. Bought their son a gun and 4 days later hes drawing those pics and writing notes about killing people. Then they get called into school and basically say "Fuck no were not taking him home and fuck no he doesnt need counseling." I get it that parents soemtimes in denial that their kid could do such a horrible act but their were criminally negligent. And really dumb because they self snitched on social media that they bought the gun for the son. Dad tried to report "his" gun missing at the time of the shooting but its too late you and your dumb wife already posted on social media that it was your sons xmas present. I think that This particular school shooting is gonna change a ton of protocol going forward in terms of schools responsibility and parents responsibility going forward. Like if you get caught drawing pics of shootings in your notebook in school its gonna be policy that you get removed/searched and all types of shit right away. When i was a little kid i prob drew some doodles of shoot outs or someshit in my notebook cuz i played cod and loved GI joes and paintball and my cousin who was in iraq was my hero and shit. so drawing a gun is one thing but his words along with it is a whole other ball game. But yeah my guess is that the reason he wasnt searched is cuz his parents made a whole big issue at the school when he was in the office. I bet if they notified the school people that this kid actually had gotten a handgun 4 days ago for xmas that this would have been prevented but those dumbfucks were irresponsible and will sit in jail along with their child because of this. I just feel bad if he has a sibling or his other relatives and how they must feel along with all the victims and their families obviously. RIP to that kid Tate man. what a hero he is in heaven right now living it up while this kid is probably in a cold cell rn in a turtle suit crying his eyes out along with his parents ... bozo

    I’ve said this many times…someone should have searched that kids backpack when he was sent to the office…this definitely could have been prevented but you are right at other “certain” schools they got metal detectors and pat downs before you can enter the school. In today’s school shooter climate maybe all schools should have preventive measures like that. On another note the parents were definitely at fault but that’s a very slippery slope there…That’s opening the door to charge parents for anything their children do. Watch if the parent do catch those manslaughter charges it’s gonna be a straight up war on parents for any and everything their children do even though the parents may be good parents…NOTE: these were not good parents and they should get charged with something…but we’ll see what happens.

They are all over urban districts and yet in the suburbs where people live with a false sense of security, nothing. Unfortunately, the world we live in dictates that metal detectors should be in all middle and high schools. Geography does not equal safety. Called us names poor, animals, thugs etc. Magnetic doors aswell for safety. Never any shootings INSIDE the schools in my area. Maybe blocks away but never inside. But we always hear of these events in mainly wealthy or white areas. I say this to say ALL schools should have that same system regardless of low income areas or wealthy areas. Crazy that this shit happened at such a nice quiet school in an area with almost zero crime or violence… such a shame. My nephew goes to Oxford and was friends with Tate. I never met the kid but I heard he was a solid dude with a bright future. Yo prayers out to all the victims, their families, friends, and everyone that this shit impacted. What you said about judging people wisely is so true. However, people are so scared to get labeled a snitch or to get labeled as someone who "cancels" people that they end up not saying anything when they see some blatantly bad stuff. But what if that person you didn't snitch on does something like this? You think anyone around you is going to be mad at you for being a snitch when you just saved lives? The fact that his bag was left unsearched is just mind boggling. Not tryna throw around accusations, but it's extremely possible that the parents at least suspected that the kid had the firearm on him during that meeting and chose not to say anything. Again, not wanting to judge or snitch on your own child caused this, and from what I've seen the parents are textbook "those two shouldn't be parents" people. Throw the book at em.

The teachers reactions when the kid told them he was distressed were probably, "Stop playing around and being disruptive and go sit back down and do your work. At those points, the students that were shot took advantage to bully him. And he got sick of it and shot them. I find it funny how they call him, "MENTALLY ILL". Such Bullshit. This was so preventable had those teachers and staff did something to Stop the bullying that was happening to this kid. SMGDH.
