    I've always been impressed with the Momentum planters. I now know a lot more about them Jason. The operators input is awesome too! Simple design but quality planting even at high speeds!! Thank you for sharing 😊.

      How fo yous control the weeds after planting might put the seed and fertiliser in well but weeds already taking the goodness outof the ground

    Jason - outstanding video and interview. Planter technology is on the leading edge. If I remember correctly each row unit has about 36" of up/down travel - helpful for terraced fields. The operator was very engaged, seemed like he was more than enthusiastic to share his thoughts. Keep the video rolling we appreciate your work.

      @@kygreenskeeper8326 the dealer support is horrible and 4 years from now that momentum planterwill be stripped down to the frame, it causes so many problems in the long run, especially the electrical part of it.

    Didn't know Fendt had a planter. This looks like they did a really good job. It was also nice to see the Challenger tractor. Great video.

    Very impressive setup! I love it! It does make one ask the question, why didn’t they pair the planter up with a Fendt tractor? Challenger is riding like a Cadillac. Just Amazing!

    Pretty impressive technology in the planter. Pretty impressive price tag for those two combines since they bought both at the same time he said. I hope they have great yields this year. Same for all farmers. Does that hose reel have the power to use to inflate tires in the field if needed?

    I run a 722 Fendt pulling an 8 row Harvest International planter decked out with Precision Planting including Furrow Force closing system. That would be a big improvement on the planter in the video IMO.

      It looks to me like they have sprayed the cover crop with round up(or simlar)it will then die off in the next 10 days. This is now a common practice here in the uk

    Why was there no tillage taking the goodness out of the seed in my opinion

      The planter has enough down force to pls e the seed in the ground with out tillage. Tillage works for many applications but no till saves on fuel, time, labor and equipment with just one pass. They were spraying a herbicide in this field just behind the planter. In a few days all these weeds were dead.

    I don't understand AGCO's business model. Are they pushing Fendt at the expense of White? Is one a re-branded version of the other?

      There’s no point in trying to understand Agco’s business model. It changes every few years and it’s eventually going to hurt them badly. I don’t think they understand their own business model

    Never seen anyone plant anything with such vegetation, why is he doing that? Fendt has a long way to go even come close to a John Deere planter even with just the amount of units sold per year. That vacuum is very cool but your tractor has to have air on it in order to use it right?
